Spacious duplex room in beautiful restored farmhouse which was great for 2 adults and 2 children aged 6 and 8. Peaceful location after busy days sight-seeing in Rome with lovely views across to the city. Taxi service included in room rate to take us to and collect us from local railway station. Buffet breakfast quite good by European standards. Simple suppers served in evening when restaurant open (see below). Food and drink prices quite reasonable. Restaurant opening hours! We ate at the restaurant on Sunday evening - the restauarnt had been closed on Saturday and we had a meal in a nearby town. We were told on the Sunday that the restaurant would now be open all week. However when we arrived back on Wednesday evening after a train delay of an hour we were told that they were not serving food that night. The menu is displayed on a notice board at reception and it would be a good idea to state the opening hours here. We chose the hotel as it had a restaurant - with young chidren we felt it would be easier to eat at the hotel in the evening rather than taking them out again after a full days sight-seeing. |

Although the could not provide dinner unless it was pre booked they provided a driver who took i=us to a fantastic restaurant then picked us up.The shuttle to Rome Ciampino airport was available free at any time and the drivers very friendly and helpful. |

lovely location and very helpful staff; appreciated being picked up at the airport and taken back the next day; thought the room rate was a bit steep at 140 euros for what was described as a junior suite but was really just a bedroom accessed by a flight of stairs; not good having a bathroom downstairs and a bedroom upstairs; breakfast was not well organised; one person running around not able to... see above |

Nice surroundings, close to the airport, good breakfast The room for 4 had some flaws: just one washbasin in the bathroom, toilet in bathroom, not one clothhanger in the whole room, not even in the wardrobe! so you could not hang your clothes, suits, coat, ..you had no choice but to put it on the sofa or to leave it in the suitcases. |

The cleanliness, comfort, location and friendliness of the hotel staff were key positives for our stay. The breakfast was also very nice. The dinner was reasonable - but, the view at dinner was spectacular (on the veranda) |

Lovely hotel..we stayed here for 1 night before we fly back to Liverpool. What a great way to end a holiday in Italia.Great hospitality and one of the most beautiful room I've ever stayed in Europe. We were upgraded to a junior suite because of the off-peak season (i assumed). The hotel staff provided a lovely pine baby cot along with nice green bed sheet, blanket, quilt and cot bumper. |

Spotlessly clean. Lovely big room. Good breakfasts. They will take you to restaurants in the evenings. We knew it was a bit far from the centre of Rome, but you are completely dependent on the complimentary shuttle service to get to stations etc. It wasn't a problem, but if you like your independence then hire a car. Beware of the nearest recommended restaurant (you can see it from the hotel). It's O.K. if you don't mind mediocre food and surly service. Not the fault of the hotel, obviously. |

We liked the building and the atmosphere particularly the public areas which were well designed and attractive.Getting from the reception to the room with a pull along suitcase however proved very difficult due to rocky path.Definitely different from chain hotels |

Staff was so friendly, shuttle service was great and convenient, and the facility was clean and nice. Breakfast was great. I wasn't really expecting so may stairs! (We were on the 2nd floor.) For anyone with a disability, it would be impossible to negotiate. |

Very friendly staff. We couldn't find the place after driving round for an hour. Nobody in Ciampino had heard of it. the Google directions weren't helpful. However, they drove into town and led us back. Next morning I saw them dropping people into the train station. |

Family atmosphere, lovely grounds, wonderful location. A real retreat! Our room was on 2 levels, bedroom upstairs and bathroom downstairs. Posed a small problem for us (mature couple) but ok for most other guests. Didn't request change as stay was short. |

The location was great, away from the hustle bustle of Rome almost like a hill station. The service was prompt and the people were amazing. There were hardly any shops within walking distance and the airport and the station is also a bit far for a walk, hence their shuttle service is more of a must than a luxury!!! |

Le charme qui se dégage de ces vieilles pierres magnifiquement restaurées . L'acceuil . La sérénité de l'endroit à l'écart de l'agitation de la ville . La voiture est indispensable . |

Enjoy clean rooms, free parking, free internet and great value at this elegant, 4-star hotel, set in a quiet, green area between Ciampino Airport and Castel Gandolfo. |
In a great position in Rome’s historic centre, stylish Hotel De Petris is set right between the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain, 5 minutes’ walk from each. |
Located just outside Rome, Hotel Palavicchi is a 3 star hotel boasting an excellent position within easy reach of Ciampino Airport. |
If you're relying on public transport during your stay in Rome, its a good idea to be close to Termini Station. Hotel Luciani is only 200 metres away; perfect! |
