Score from 17 reviews Wonderful
The helpful staff, central location. The rooms are also very well furnished and you even get a small mini kitchen. The whole residence has a high specification and if we are ever back in Florence this would be the first choice for us. Breakfast was in a small coffee shop just along the road from the residence and the service was fast and friendly. We stayed in another hotel for a night and paid considerably more for a lesser experiance
Nothing it is a really good place to stay.
Staff were friendly. Wifi was good.
No frills. No tea or coffee in the room. Too many doors to go through. Had to take our own garbage out. Breakfast included but it was minimal.
the room is very beautiful and big. The staff are so nice and the breakfast is good as well. The location is good and very quite.
Conveniently located across the Arno River yet easily accessible to the city center and attractions without the noise and the crowd. Well appointed property. Superb services. Thanks, Claudia!
We were so impressed with Residenza D'Epoca, the staff were absolutely amazing - so so friendly and full of advice, they were always on the ball and made us feel very welcome! We were pleasantly surprised to find a little kitchenette in the room which was never even mentioned - a special touch that made our stay all the more comfortable (especially having a toddler with us). Everything was fantastic and we will look to stay nowhere else when back in Firenze!
Every thing was perfeckt, specially the hosts where doing great job
Everything was very very good! Terrasse with a view - fantastic!
Great location. Out of the busy section but close. Cool local vibe.
The place was beautiful with old world charm. The staff was amazing in every way -- informative and helpful, even giving a bit of history of Florence even though we came in incredibly late because of delays. And they printed out our boarding passes. Really wonderful. The place was more than our expectations. The breakfast at a nearby restaurant was very good also. We ended up buying sandwiches at that same small cafe to go for lunch everyday.
The showers have very temperamental hot and cold temperatures which my children had difficulty managing. You had to either take a one minute shower (literally) or do what you could for a minute and then put it all the way to the hottest notch when the water turned cold and wait until the water got hot again, and turn it to the middle quickly. A bit tricky. But the place and location and staff made the tricky shower worth it.
Loved the location and the historical building.
Wifi was not even offer to us when we checked in and when we asked it didn't work. The tv didn't work either. Breakfast is at a cafe which didn't have many options.
The room was so charming as was the whole residence. The location was perfect. The staff took extra special care to provide lactose and gluten free breakfast options for my husband.
The tub was very difficult to stand in. With the shower nozzle located on the side of the tub instead of the end you had to stand angled. The tub bottom is a bit rounded so you had to stand very carefully.
Staff were brilliant and nothing too much trouble. Location was good as you could walk to all the major attractions.
Breakfast was at local Cafe who while friendly did not provide a full breakfast menu. Noise in streets.
Location is excellent & this residence has a special spirit of coziness & comfort :) staff is very helpful, breakfast was nice. I enjoyed my stay here once again!hope to come again!
everything was great!
Thr room was great. It all all the amenities we would need.
Wifi was a little spotty.....
Staff made a real effort to provide me with gluten free breakfast even though the café where breakfast was served did not have any. Much appreciated! Very firendly staff and I appreciated having lots of space and living room and kitchen!
If you like a hotel with 24/7 reception and people who change your towels every day, this hotel is not for you.
It is very noisy, the windows of plastik.Very low water pressure. Mattress is terrible
decor, cleanliness, facilities, good friendly management. Just what we wantd.
Claudia, the concierge, was very helpful and made us feel right at home. Superb location. Kitchenette really came in handy.
The room could have used more closet and drawer space. Had to sit out in the hall - albeit on a very comfortable couch - to get the wifi to work properly.
Charming place and very helpful & warm personal, quiet and central location, old palace modernised with a lift and original features retained, very central location close to the main museums (Uffizzi) and places of interest, palazzo Pitti and its beautiful gardens, ponte Veccio, palazzo Veccio, great restaurants (fantastic food, wine and service) & shops, river, etc. We had an enchanting stay in the Maria Callas very spacious & comfortable appartment and a great quality time in this beautiful palace. We will certainly return there next time we go to Florence and highly recommend it to any traveller wishing to end splendid holidays.
All was perfect and there is nothing to dislike, on the contrary !
The ambiance of the place, the cleanliness etc
Everything was perfect.
We staid in apartment 2, at the ground floor with the street view. And the sounds came along with...no soundproof at the windows what so ever. So..be aware! When you book this apartment and you traver with kids.
Very nice place in an excellent location
The location was excellent inside the old city near the Ponte Vechia. Both Alena and Luca were incredibly helpful. Alena made reservations at good restaurants in town and Luca was a fountain of historical knowledge. The best meal we had in a two-week Italian trip was the rigatoni Gabbing at Gabbi's restaurant just across the river.
Inevitably when you're staying the city tends to be noisy. There is nothing in the streets to absorb sound. The trade-off to be in the center of where everything is happening is well worth it.
