This villa is wonderful for families and even if you wish to spend some quality time with your love ones! We stayed there for 4 days, and when we had to go, we just didn't want to leave! They renovated the all place with a Venetian style, and believe me, it is beautiful and the family who takes care of this hotel is totally charming! You have to go! |

friendliness and helpfulness of owner/operator. newly renovated, modern yet maintaining historical villa. free parking. only 9 rooms. need bus or boat to get to venice. must have car. |

This was a very nice hotel and near to a good local restaurant the Taverna Brenta. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were cleaned beautifully every day. It was nice to escape the crowds in Venice and experience a little bit of real Italy. The position of the hotel was a drawback as the traffic is so bad along the road between Padua & Venice. We were sometimes stuck in long traffic jams on a hot bus. With waiting for the bus as well it could take an hour. Perhaps the traffic is better in summer during holiday period |

Villa Dolcetti was perfect for our family, and we highly recommend it. You will not find friendlier, more helpful, and genuinely interested hosts anywhere! The restored villa is very beautiful and has four original frescoes. I highly recommend, if guests and Diego (the owner/manager)have the time, to ask if he would put together a personal tour package. It was a highlight of our vacation. Nothing. Everything was great, especially the cappuccinos that Diego made for us -- three apiece each morning. |

A beautifully renovated old villa with excellent staff that go out of their way to help guests.Very clean and despite the proximity to the road, surprisingly quiet. An ideal place to safely park a car and take the bus from right outside the hotel to Venice. Very good value for money. The hotel was great for the type of road trip we were on but if we didn't have a car, we'd probably try to stay in Venice. It took about 40 minutes by bus to get to the city. |

The hotel is a great base to be when one wants to visit Venice, Padova and surrounding areas. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel which takes you into Venice and Padova, which I recommend highly for a visit. The hotel itself is really very lovely. The rooms were very clean and very comfortable. The hotel manager is very helpful and very friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much. |

If , like us you arrive in Venice with a car, then staying at Villa Dolcetti is a good option. There is good parking, and an easy bus ride to Venice. The hotel is quite new but has been decorated in traditional Venetian style. Our room was much better than expected. Breakfast was very nice, with good fresh coffee, in a pleasant breakfast room. The manager was friendly; charming and helpful. Much better value than the hotels in central Venice. |

The level of the service is as good as five stars! All the staff served with all their best, made feel home and comfortable. Most staffs speak fluent English and some staffs do not speak English were so helpful, we would feel sorry about not understanding Italian… Decoration of the room is so tasteful; On site free parking was great. Good selection of breakfast. The hotel offers everything you would need for home away time. If I visit around, would come back definitely! |

Die Besitzerfamilie, welche alleinig das Hotel betreut, war in allen Fragen kompetent und man fühlte sich familär aufgehoben. Hervorzuheben zur Lage des Hotels ist zu sagen, weshalb sich ein teures und oft servicemässig schlechtes Hotel direkt in Venedig oder Mestre zu nehmen unsinnig erscheint, da die verkehrsmässige Anbindung an Venedig hervorragend ist. Bushaltestelle fast vor dem Hotel! Nein; abgesehen von den "Frühstücksbrötchen"! Aber dafür waren die Süssigkeiten hervorragend! |
