Very good,
Score from 108 reviews
Set just 330 yards from the Duomo, Residenza dei Pucci offers spacious and comfortable accommodations in the very heart of Florence; all at an affordable price. This charming guesthouse is set on the second and third floors of an elegant, 19th-century building. Each room is individually decorated and features a TV and air conditioning. The helpful team of staff at dei Pucci will always be on hand to offer tourist advice. They can recommend some of Florence’s best places to eat and drink. With such a fantastic location, you can walk to all of the city’s attractions in just a few minutes. Florence’s major convention center, Fortezza da Basso, is only half a mile away. Hotel Rooms: 6

Location and conditioner in the room. Toilet and shower were not even cleaned (no words about desinfection) after the previous tourists! Breakfast room is small and consist of 1 big table at which you should eat (no more than 6 persons at time) and take food. Poor italian breakfast with bad coffee.

Location, location and location. Rooms are in a fair condition but not luxurious. Breakfast is very simple and the opening hours (8:30 to 10AM) quite short. Basically wifi does not work. A bit overpriced for the service rendered but the location is tremendous A bit old (smelly entrance) for the price asked. No facility.

Rosella was very helpful, coordinating separate tours to the Cinque Terra and a day wine tasting and exploring the Tuscan hill towns. The hotel is in a beautiful building a block from the Duomo- you can see Brunnelleschi's dome from the kitchen window. The rooms are large and well appointed, with beautiful mouldings. We felt we were staying at a wealthy relatve's home. It is centrally located to everything in Florence. The free internet access was great- almost necessary nowadays. Unfortunately the router signal was not strong enough to reach the rooms, so you had to sit in the kitchen area to get on the internet. This was not wholely negative. As it gave one a chance to meet other internet surfers from other countries who were also in the kitchen.

Excellent location. Clean bathroom. Big room and bathroom for 3. Helpful and friendly staff- Marina in particular. Bearable quality of beds and pillows. Towels replaced every day and the room/ bathroom is tidied up and cleaned every day. High first (second in my mind) floor without an elevator. "Free" internet only works close to the office. Charging per hour for Internet is ridiculous nowadays- in my opinion. Bathroom was not equipped for 3 people with enough hangers ( hooks or bars) for clothes and towels- a very easy fix but highly inconvenient for tenants. Very basic, totally sweet breakfast. Dim money saving lighting- no light at the bathroom mirror- very inconvenient for make up.

Our room was quite nice. We had a superior room with a fireplace, but had no need for a fire. The room was near the breakfast bar and could hear plates and glasses in the morning. Very clean and large for Florence. Great staff.

Great location--right in the heart of historic Florence, very close to the Duomo. Extremely attractive room decor. Small breakfast room with uninspired breakfasts. No fresh fruit.

Surprisingly, it was being right smack in the middle of Florence. It was a pleasure waking up to Florentine life, seeing the Bapistry and Duomo 3 or 4 times a day, and the room, staff, facilities were excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful, enthusiastic.

The hotel staff was very nice and gave us good tips on Firenze (great ice-cream place !) and the location is perfect, almost at the foot of the Dome. It is quite complicated to reach it by car (even with the help of a gps) and very difficult to get a temporary parking spot to drop the luggages. But someone comes when you check in and takes the car to a garage (paid) so you don't have to worry for it for the duration of your stay.

The room was comfortable, clean and attractive ... ditto bathroom. The staff was welcoming and very helpful, e.g making various reservations. The inner city location is ideal, however it appears that convenient parking may not be available as a result ... I was traveling without a car.

Tha staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. The room was spacious for three people, the furniture pieces beautiful and the high ceiling with ornate molding gave it a classic touch. It was a pleasure staying there. I would have preferred to have clean towels daily.

Travelling as a young couple from Sydney our stay at Residenza dei Pucci made our visit to Florence all the more enchanting. Our hostess Rossella and her co-worker were very friendly and helpful. On both nights we stayed in the city, Rossella made bookings for us at nearby restaurants as the city was in peak tourist season (mid july) and most restaurants were full. The room we stayed in was neat, tidy and very stylish with beautiful furnishings, high ceilings and thick walls The bathroom was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The location of the hotel is everything you would ask for, not noisy at all yet still in the heart of Florence, a 2 minute walk away from the Duomo and 5 minutes from the Ponte Vecchio. The Italian (sweet) style breakfast in the morning was excellent - lots of little cakes, strudels, croissants, toast, jams, yoghurt and good coffee. We had hired a car from Rome and were able to drive into the city to have the car parked at a nearby garage for 22 Euro a day, quite convenient and cost effective considering the city blocks of traffic at certain times of the day. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you're travelling through Florence.

The room was clean and tidy. the location was the best part of this hotel. There was no elevator so after travelling around for 4 weeks prior to this hotel we found it a bit difficult carrying our bags up two flights of stairs. the breakfast was average and was not ready when it was advised it would be. there was no fridge in the room which was a disappointment. i would not stay at this hotel again.

I love the hotel. The people who work there were very kind and helpful and the room was very beautiful, big and clean. Only two problems: no elevator in the hotel, and I had a hard time trying to find it... My cars gps didnt find the hotel... But this is not a problem of the hotel. Its a problem of Firenze. The streets are confusing...

Lovely hotel, relaxed and helpful staff especially Marina who was brilliant . We stayed a week with our 7 yr old and felt very comfortable and looked after. Our triple room was a double bed and a smallish fold out bed which was sufficient for our small child. The location was perfect! The room was clean, elegant and spacious and the bathroom was in keeping with a good working shower with constant hot water. I would totally recommend this hotel for all the right reasons !!!!!!

The location is one block from the Duomo. You walk out of the door and everything is right there. The room was very clean and comfortable. Intimate setting. Do not come here with a car because of the city location. The closeness to the sights includes noisy revelers at night. Minimal breakfast.

“My husband and I loved this hotel. It was a very nice studio apartment located a few steps away from the Dumo. You really couldn't ask for a better location. And to top it off, the room we stayed in was beautiful. The room was stocked with food and drinks. There was a kitchen area with a dish washer and a clothes washer/dryer. If we ever return to Florence, this is where we would stay” Jacob, Hewitt |
