Palazzo Niccolini Al Duomo is right next to the Duomo Cathedral in Florence. It features air-conditioned accommodations, a traditional restaurant and a buffet breakfast.
Score from 62 reviews Wonderful
Hotel Villa Liana is housed in an elegant 19th-century villa with a peaceful and relaxing English-style garden. In the center of Florence, it is less than a 15-minute walk from the cathedral.
Score from 244 reviews Very good

Overlooking Florence Cathedral and Baptistery, Hotel Bigallo is right in the heart of Florence's historic center.
Score from 575 reviews Very good
In apartment-3rd floor, large sitting room with high ceilings, elegant with surround windows, some to Duomo. Near many groceries, small restaurants.
Not Pucci's fault, but Florence is harmed badly by crowds that surround Pucci
Good size room nicely decorated with very comfortable bed, big bathroom, which was spotlessly clean. Location is excellent with all of Florence's attractions within walking distance. Close to several good restaurants. As with many small hotels in old buildings, there is no lift, but the quality of the rooms is definitely worth the climb up the stairs. Breakfast offered a simple but adequate choice. The breakfast room is very small but trays are provided so that guests can eat in their room.
Good location clean room reasonable price. Cozy comfortable room & water pressure in shower great!
Small breakfast area & limited choices & opened too late. No elevator many steps to carry luggage up.
Excellent location for seeing the sites of Florence.
Location size of room friendly staff
Location, we didn't have to use a car, taxi or even public transportation to visit everything in Florence. WIFI is good. Very Friendly and cooperative Staff. They provide us with maps and answer us abut all what we need.
The breakfast is very basic and slow refill
Staff was very nice, we arrived late so the office reception was already closed but they left very clear instructions for us to get in and get our keys. Excellent air conditioning (if you go in the summer this is really important) nice bathroom, comfy beds, but the greatest part was the location. 2 mins walking to il duomo, and to the academy gallery where you find Michael Angelo's David
The breakfast area is a bit tight.
The location was great. Close to the town center.
No elevator. (didn't bother us, but it might someone else)
Very convenient walking distance from the train station, very cozy and clean room, nice and friendly staff. The breakfast is simple, but OK.
WiFi connection is not so good; the breakfast area is really small.
Lovely old building Great location Good AC which was needed on 30 degree days Clean room Very nice housekeeper
The very stubborn toilet flush Patchy wifi
We were in the top floor suite. Amazingly spacious and lovely suite with a humongous master bedroom with Duomo view and a separate small bedroom for our two boys (24 and 12 years old). One block from the Duomo, walking distance to everything, and staff were incredibly helpful. Loved it!
the location is very good.
the breakfirst the wifi not value for the paid money
Staff is willing to help of all kind of questions. The hotel is very near duomo and mercato, where it is only allowed to walk. But the hotel is still reachable by car.
Not enough room to sit for breakfast. Only 6 cahiers for 18 rooms. We missed à safety deposito box. Because we read in the guestbook there was stolen something from à couple, we were afraid to leave something in the room.
The location was excellent--a very short walk (1-block) to the Duomo, as well as the Piazzale della Republica, and a few blocks from the Accademia, a 20 minute walk or a short cab ride to the train-station. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was just right.
One block from the Cathedral, everything in walkable distance including the train station (about 10 blocks). Staff was quick to help for any situation. Room size for three was excellent.
Typical small European breakfast
Good location. One of the two staff persons was very friendly and helpful.
It's on a noisy street. Had to close the windows to shut out the noise. Too few tables and chairs for breakfast.
Location to everything was great. bus and traxi access is just out side. Area is quiet at night and is air conditioned in June when we stayed there.
There is no elevator and the steps are steep compare to what is available in the US. Breakfast time is late, 6am-9am would be a better time.
Room was great staff were very helpful
Internet was hit or miss
Manager and staff very helpful
Breakfast room tiny, stairs and no lift
Good location. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Fantastic view of the Duomo from our room!
Challenging to find it if you are driving there
Nice and helpful staff
The shower room without light, it it horrible when bath at night. Mosquitos and bugs in you, can't sleep well.
Great location. The Duomo could be seen from our window. Central to all the sights of Florence. The master bedroom has AC. We should have used it because leaving the windows open let the mosquitos in.
The two bedroom suite while gopd for our family was a long way up the stairs. The master bedroom was on the street, and noisy very late.
Great Central location and close to everything. Staff are very nice and so, so helpful. Made arrangements for a very late check in. Also, our room was massive with very high ceilings and over looked the small cute street. Extremely happy with my choice and will certainly not hesitate to use them again.
There was a little crack in the toilet seat that bothered me (seemed like it would get worse and give way at some point). Breakfast starts at 8:30AM, this is a little late in my opinion.
Slow internet connection
