Amazing bedrooms; very large with huge beds. Very friendly staff and lovely courtyard garden. Breakfast was not as good as I would expect from a 4* hotel. |

Grandness of the place, size of rooms and nice gardens - good value for money The breakfast was rather basic with little choice - there never seemed to be anyone in the bar |

This old mansion has tall ceilings, and our very large room had a loft. On a ten day tour of Tuscany, this was our favorite find for accomodation. Though the decor was simple, it was also elegant. Most hotels provide the wi-fi id and password on paper. This hotel provides it verbally, and the woman on morning reception seemed annoyed at having to provide it to an English speaker (me). I don't expect the staff to speak perfect English, so providing the information on paper would have made us both happier. |

Hotel itself is located in a historic building - Medici Villa. It is nice from the outside. It has a big backyard, where you can relax, drink coffee, etc. The staff is friendly and helpful. The big atvantage of the hotel is its location. It great if you will to travel around: Florence, Lucca, Piza, even the Tirrenian Sea is just an hour drive. If you have your own car its great to explore the little towns of Tuscany: Vinci, Buggiano, Montecatini Terme, etc. The train station is just 4km from the hotel, which make it very conviniecne. Room are big with big king size beds... Quite big bathroom, nice views... I wouldn't give that property a four star rating. It was kind of dirty and dusty. We stayed there 6 night, and for the entire stay there was no cleaning service! Although we were given clean towels and sheets. Breakfast is boring after 3rd day but it's good! and brilliant coffee served every morning!!! No restaurant on site, and it's very far to get to one in the town. In the the eveining there is nothing to eat etc... You might have a problem if you don't speak Italian:)) there is only one girl speaking English, the rest of the staff so so...Well, its Italy! |

Nice, clean and big room. Good airconditioning. Good breakfast (especially in Italy). Nice and quiet garden. Quiet but nice town, ideal for trips to the famous Tuscan cities. Beautiful building, really classy A swimming pool would be great, but since we only stayed two nights this wasn't really a problem. |

Large rooms with high ceilings in a beautiful Tuscany-style building. Nice view from rooms. Breakfast is included in the price and was above average compared to Italy. Free parking. Wifi in the bar was a bit tricky. It would be perfect if the wifi was available in every room. |

Large room. Beautifull area, good location to visit Florence, Lucca, Montecatini Terme, Sienna, San Giminiano, Pisa. Very large garden. Free parking. Close for a very good restaurant terrace (where we eat a very good bisteca fiorentini and pizza) - direction Montecatini Terme (ask for the reception desk). Close to a good termal swiming pool (5 minutes with car) in Monsumano Terme. Best value for money - in Toscana. |

Spacious room with a nice view, fresh and nicely furnished. Very good choice of food for breakfast. We also enjoyed the possibility of sitting in the garden. Also an advantage is the closeness of famous places worth visiting: Florence, seaside, Tuscany countryside views, many winehouses of a Chianti region. |

The hotel was in a central location ideally situated for sight seeing in Tuscany. The hotel is lovely with lots of original features. The bedrooms are large and en-suite with good storage space and large beds. Excellent breakfast included in the price. The staff were helpful and some spoke English. We would recommend the hotel highly Although the hotel was clean, the tiles in the shower were rather discoloured and the shower head was partially blocked with limescale. Otherwise we loved it and would return |

Our room was huge with lovely big windows opening onto courtyard and surrounding countryside. Not too much "ambience" around the hotel at night time. Also, village of Monsummanno did not have much to offer. |

It is a good hotel in term of value for money. The hotel is in a calm area with private houses around. It would be great if you can come to hotel with a car because the nearest train station is about 5km away. From this hotel you can go to "hot tourism points" in Tuscany such as Florence, Pisa, Siena, Vinci, Luca, Pistoia, and many others. Rooms are big. 1. English of the staff is poor: they speak only Italian, no other language! Although they are very helpful, their foreign language capacity would make guests somehow unpleasant. 2. In this big hotel, Internet is only available in public area on ground floor. My room is on the 2nd floor, if I would like to use the Internet, I have to go down with my computer. |

It is a comfortable middle class hotel offering excellent value for a very reasonable price. It is also very well situated, the staff is very friendly, breakfast ample, parking available, room made up every day. It is also very cozy and charming. |
