In a 19th-century building, the Quirinale is a 10-minute walk from the Colosseum. This historic hotel is connected to Rome Opera House through a passageway in its leafy courtyard.
Score from 3485 reviews Very good
Located just 650 ft from Barberini Metro Station, Albergo Ottocento is a 5-minute walk from the Trevi Fountain. The elegant rooms have air conditioning and a flat-screen TV.

The historic Grand Hotel Plaza has been featured in many movies. Set on Rome’s popular shopping street, Via del Corso, it offers large elegant rooms with high ceilings and marble bathrooms.

Just 200 metres from the Spanish Steps, Trevi Collection offers modern rooms with hydromassage showers. Spagna and Barberini Metro Stations are a 5-minute walk away.
Score from 323 reviews Very good
- Great value - Excellent location, yet not on a tourist filled street - Excellent staff - Large rooms - Luxury feel
- Not the most recently updated (but when that happens the cost will surely increase so be careful what you wish for)
Truly charming hotel - lobby with spacious lounge rooms; spacious and nicely furnished double deluxe and superior rooms (on the first floor) - each perfect for family of four; high ceilings and windows; perfect location - walk to via dei Condotti and del Corso for shops, cafes and restos; comfortable like home.
I expected bathroom robes and slippers. Wi-fi could be offered in rooms for free or be charged according to actual use instead of the 24-hour package. Guests don't stay in the room all day.
The staff and ambiance also location was excellent We certainly will return
Loved the suite, the location, the cafes and sites close by, and the beautiful courtyard. Large buffet breakfast a huge plus as well. Also nice and quiet, no street noise gets in, and Via di Ripetta is not a busy street anyway.
Some furniture is a little threadbare, not a big deal. Free wifi in the rooms is a little slow, we did not pay for the hi-speed option (common area wifi is fine).
The location, large rooms with comfortable bed and reception staff were very helpful. But not much else.
Poor WiFi access. Breakfast service could be improved, not enough hot food, not replenished quickly enough. Room air-con running too warm, no way to adjust it.
Is the clean at the decoration
very close to metro, quiet.
The room was very spacious, although a little dark. The location was very central. The room was very quiet. The staff wereost helpful.
The hotel is a bit tired.
Nice, solid hotel well located and quiet
The walls in the room need repainting
The decor was homey but elegant
Good location, good value for money. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff.
WiFi had problems. We even tried to upgrade but again the connection was bad especially in the room. We had to reset it many times but we encountered many problems A/C made more noise than ot should and worked constantly.
I have always stayed here (6x), but this stay was different.
Wifi was poor. Wifi wasn't free - 4 star hotels should give it free! We don't download movies we work out of our computers. No toothbrush in bathroom amenities. Soap was not sudsy. Towels are "old". This hotel has downsized luxury.
Location was perfect, right in the center of Rome, less than 30 seconds from Via del Corso and Piazza del Popolo. 5 mins from the Spanish Steps. The outside area is really beautiful. Can have a nice drink or meal . Breakfast is good, a lot of choices. Staff spoke multiple languages rather fluently. The room size is rather big for a hotel in Rome.
Staff were rather unfriendly. None of them could bear a smile or a hello. The rooms looked dirty and interior of hotel worn out. The sheets, chairs, cupboards, etc.. looked like they needed dusting. Wi-fi is slow and gives you the option to use free or purchased one. Always used the free one but somehow got stuck with a charge on my bill. Complained and got a 5 Euro discount. The shower was tiny and there was no light. The walls are very thin, can hear everything happening in the hallways and neighboring rooms => woke us up most mornings.
Hotel is tired. Carpets in hallways and rooms dirty, bathroom had mildew, walls needed a cleaning- stayed here before but not again
Price a little expensive.
Our room was fantastic with easy internet access and all needs catered for
Very poor wifi connection in my room
the location is really convenient
Room and bathroom were in need of refurbishment and breakfast selection limited
This is more than 4 star hotel. Excellent location in the center very close to main attractions. Very good and helpful staff. Very big rooms, in fact the majority of rooms are suites. Excellent breakfast. Pleasant atmosphere in the bar, restaurant and sitting rooms of the hotel. Reasonable prices. Very good value for money. I will definitely stay again in my next visit to Rome.
The staffs are very helpful except lacking effiency.
Old facilities looks scary.
GreT service from the staff. Everyone is kind smiley and helps with a smile, great location too. Very close to the spanish stirs, via del corso, etc. We took a junior executive suit, and value for money wag great. The cafe restaurant in the hotel had very reasonable prices for good quslity. I will no doubt return to this hotel
Everything was good in the hotel. Wish there were sport facilities..
The welcoming friendliness and competence of the staff was such a comfort. They were able to solve every little problem with good humor and intelligence
The food was merely good, not excellent - but the service was terrific.
Breakfast both hot and cold, although make sure you ask for your coffee order otherwise you'll get the decanter rubbish Big room with a usable sitting area Location was just far enough away from the major hustle and bustle.
Lack of irons (only 5 for the whole hotel which meant we couldn't use one until our last night despite asking to use one on our first)
Cozy hotel, fine arrangement, all is close: the beautiful area and park, fine pizzeria, vineriya, restaurant, shops, to all historical places went on foot no more than 15-30 min.The beautiful hill Pincha to it 5 minutes from the hotel, everyone cups of coffee I admired a view from this hill to Vatican, Popolo Square! Tasty breakfast, cozy yard, benevolent personnel.
Lighting in number very romantic, slightly more light there is a wish, in number there was a minikitchen, however the ware is provided for 15 euros, wi fi in a lobby, however fast. Windows of number went outside, was audible as the car promptly go. By the end of day tired with rest fell asleep quickly with an open window. It everything in any way didn't prevent to have a rest edematous! Hotel I recommend!
