Modern decoration,clean, location, breakfast
This bed and breakfast was absolutely amazing with a great value for money. The rooms are modernly decorated and have a balcony, fridge, coffee machine and more. The location is on the banks of the Tevere river, centrally located, but very quiet. We went everywhere on foot. Benny, Marco, and Michelle were very sweet and accommodating, showing us good restaurants in the area, recommended sights, and anything else we needed. Breakfast is provided at two cafes a few minutes away (Zoc was splendid and we really enjoyed the breakfast there.) Would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone wanting to stay in central Rome! :)
The bed was a bit uncomfortable, but they were in the process of changing the mattresses, so I can assume that if we had come a few days later I would have nothing negative to say about this lovely bed and breakfast!
Everything! The design is welcoming and chic, the location is a minute walking from piazza navona. Marco and Benny, the owners are super nice and were very helpful... We will come back for sure!
Great location walking distance for everywhere. Great room.
Everything, property, owners & staff, neighborhood, breakfast choices, closeness to everything!
Polite service, clean, modern, well equipped rooms. Good value for money. Interesting places arranged for authentic Italian breakfast.
Shower was a little inconsistent in temperature and flow. Walls thin so noise can sometimes be heard from other rooms.
The location is great, very close to the Campo die Fiori.Clean and nice decorated room, but a little bit small.Friendly and very helpful staff. Good value for money.
The location was great, the room was nice and big. Coffee, tea, cattle and a small fridge were available in the room.
breakfast was very small
Very clean and new room. Owner was so helpful, gave some great recommendations. The cafes they have for breakfast are fabulous and very close. Location is perfect, walking distance to most things and just over the river is Travestere which is really good for bars and dinners. There was a really good buzz around the apartments and felt very safe.
Nothing - was perfect!
I usually do not leave reviews. However, I felt I should leave a review for this B&B. It extremely clean and the owners were super attentive to our requests. They went beyond and approved our early check in from 7am, which not many do. I definitely recommend this B&B and encourage you to do book with them. It is then you understand why.
Cleanliness Friendly staff Comfortable and quiet
Slightly outside of the center
-friendly and very helpful staff -excellent location- 10 minutes walk to Pantheon -15 minutes to Colosseum -lovely breakfast at local cafe Nonna Vicenza -spacious room with balcony -very safe area
-mattress of the bed was not very firm, a bit springy -noise insulation from other rooms could be improved
We greatly enjoyed when we stayed in Residenza II Duca. It was very good location, it's pretty quiet dispite the city center. The room was very clean and nice decoration, but a little bit small for two people. Marco and Beny were very friendly and attentive. Marco and Beny are one of the best owners we've ever met. i recommend it to everyone!!!
Everything was perfect!
Excellent helpful staff Nice and modern Perfect location Value for money Very clean
They were very organized and dependable.
lovley staff, very good breakfast, amazing location !
We travelled Europe on our Honeymoon looking to stay in quality but affordable accommodation. Residenza II Duca is perfect and for people wanting this and i would recommend it to anyone. This is my first trip advisor review and i am making the effort because Marco made such an effort for us on our stay. We were met on arrival and asked what it is that we wanted in Rome. From here Marco took us on a quick walk around the block and gave his advise on what would best suit what we were looking for. I travelled to Rome 5 years ago and stayed near the train station, I felt unsafe walking at night and felt like all the restaurants/accommodations etc in that area kept hitting me with unforeseeable charges. I wasn't looking forward to travelling back to Rome. This time however was completely the opposite for two reasons. 1) we stayed in a central location that was safe, a short walk to all attractions everything including great restaurants in every direction. 2) the courtesy and efforts of Residenza II Duca. Having a friend in a foreign town always makes for a better (and more value for money) stay as you have 'insider' knowledge. Marco's introduction and genuine passion for his accommodation & city made it feel like we had a friends introduction to Rome. I am blown away that my opinion of a city can change so much. Pay the extra money in Rome and stay central.
Very good location, in the center of the city, but in a quiet Street. Nice decoration and helpful and friendly staff.
Residenza Il Duca has a very good location, is very clean, the room is spacious and good looking, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Good bathroom and wifi was good, too. Benny took great care of us and was always around to help with whatever we needed. Zoc, the place for breakfast was very good, too. Congratulations!!!
Breakfast at Nonna Vincenza was not good. Everything is very sweet. The attendant was very impolite. Orange juice was good though.
We wanted to stay close to Campo die Fiori and Navona and Residenza Il Duca was an excellent choice because of the facilities (nespresso machine), the attention to the details (chic arrangement of the interior) and of course, because of Beny and Marco. Their reccommendations for less known cultural sites and restaurants in the area, as well as the choice of breakfast in an sicilian pastry shop, made our stay in Rome a memorable delight.
The water boiler on the balcony is noisy when heating.
It was very good located to visit Rome for a first time specially if you are staying for few days. Room very clean, modern and fashion.
Everything was excellent, nevertheless I would previously inform guests that it is not a hotel with a permanent front desk and that you must arrange for check in and out which is not a problem at all!
Walking distance to almost all attractions in Roma, friendly host, Beny made recommendations for nearby local restaurants that are superb in quality, not overpriced, and not at all touristy! Great breakfast at local patisserie, fresh pastry and juice. Highly recommended!!
We really enjoyed our stay! The room is impeccable: well decorated and very clean. Also, the location is perfect, close to everything. The owners are very attentive and help us giving information and some Rome tips. I recommend it undoubtedly!
Everything was perfect.
I chose the place because of the location and I was right. You go down and you are already in a historical area, you walk 50 mts and you enjoy the Tevere, you walk less than 5 minutes and you are in Campo dei Fiori. I almost didn't need to use public transport. Very comfortable place, very clean and tidy, spacious room and excellent services. The water heater is very useful as well as the coffee machine. Breakfast was in a very nice traditiinal sicilian place 2 minutes walk and included a coffee, orange juice or almond milk (very good) and a pastry of you choice ( I chose the crostata di ricotta and I recomend it). It has a lift, which is an important detail when you are looking for a place in the historic area. We met Beny, who was very kind with as from the first moment and is always ready to help. Wonderful place, I would like to come back.
Everything was perfect! No comments
Location excellent, to have a balcony in a quiet yet central location was brilliant, a little tricky to find the place but once you are there lovely. Breakfast is in a lovely little place around the corner, felt like a local. Couldn't believe how peaceful the location was considering just over the bridge in traverste you have a lot of bars and nightlife.
