Residenza Il Villino

Sergio, Lorenzo and Elisabetta went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. We have returned three times to stay here. They treated us like family. They made phone calls to reserve a car for us, they realized we needed an additional mirror since we had so many girls getting ready and purchased one and it was in our room when we returned from dinner. They got up in the middle of the night to call a cab and packed us a breakfast as we were leaving town. Rooms are darling and the garden area is filled with geraniums. The passion they have for people is in every detail. We have stayed at the Four Seasons and have not been treated nearly as well. We could not have asked for more.

Alessandro was a perfect host and made Venice our favorite stop in Italy! Having a thoughtful and helpful host made all the difference. The accommodations were perfect and clean and quiet as well.

The staff/owner are very friendly and extremely helpful with local recommendations and arrangements. We highly recommend this place and would stay here on future visits to Firenze

Sergio and his family helped make our second trip to Firenze truly exceptional. We were treated as if we were "family;" in fact, better! Our room - truely quiet & peaceful - had a direct view of the Duomo: what could be better than waking up to that incredible sight? Va bene! When we return to Firenze, we will be sure to stay there, again.

Not that we didn't "like it" but be informed this intimate residence is served solely by stairs.

Sergio and his family were exceptional in every way. From getting museum reservations to recommending great restaurants, Sergio did anything we needed and always with a smile. Rooms were beautiful, spacious and very clean. The ample breakfast was perfect including fresh scrambled eggs with cheese and prosciutto were excellent. Sergo also made us fresh cappuccino to start our day. We highly recommend Residenza Il Villino. It is a business run with a great deal of pride and it shows in every detail.

1. Location on side street and narrow walk to activities wasnt ideal 2. the breakfast was subpar, in our experience of other breakfast's 3. we couldnt flush toilet in one of the rooms, off/on during entire stay NOTE: owner was responsive and we would go back again.

The couple and son who run this bed and breakfast are very welcoming and helpful. You are greeted in and out of the residence by well wishes. Breakfast was delicious and the room very clean. It is in walking distance to everything in Florence without being in the hub of town. I definitely would stay again.

Nous avons apprécié l'accueil ,l'amabilité , la disponibilité et la discrétion. La résidence était dans une rue calme mais très proche du centre. Très peu de choses si ce n'est un détail perfectible, celui de la difficulté à ouvrir la serrure de la porte de la chambre .On y arrive toujours mais après quelques essais ;ceci gagerait a être corrigé. C'est vraiment un détail à coté du reste qui nous a enchanté.Ennoufous.Paris

Oltre alla posizione comoda rispetto al centro ... Avevamo lasciato l auto in un garage vicino l hotel La batteria si e' scaricata prima di partire e il gestore ci ha accompagnato in auto x farla ricaricare . Grazie Sergio

Мы остановливались семьей. Милый и уютный дворик. Недалеко от центра. Очень приятные владельцы - семья. Дружелюбные, излучающие желание помочь во всем - где перекусить, где припарковать машину (сам владелец вместе с нами поехал парковать), где поужинать (так же проводил, столик заказал), что посмотреть. Полностью соответствует стоимость/ожидание и описанию.

Парковка далековато.

L'ospitalità è stata perfetta. Stiamo stati accolti con gentilezza e premura in una struttura davvero molto bella. Abbiamo soggiornato in un alloggio con ingresso indipendente composto da due camere molto grandi e un soggiorno oltre che, naturalmente, il bagno. Ci sembrava di rientrare in una bella casa. La zona è vicinissima al centro e di notte sicura e silenziosa. La colazione è stata perfetta, abbondante e di qualità.

La colazione e' standard ma non accontenta l'occhio. Sicuramente migliorabile.

Superb personal and friendly service.

If you go, take a cab from the train station. If you have rolling baggage, the walk from the station can be taxing because of the cobblestones. This is not a criticism of this wonderful B&B, though. Without baggage, it's an easy walk to all city points of interest.

Lorenzo and his family were wonderful. Our breakfast was delicious. Accomidations were very pleasant and clean. Felt we were located in a good part of the city.

strategica la posizione per la visita della città. molto suggestivo l'edificio che ospita la struttura. Da segnalare soprattutto l'estrema gentilezza e disponibilità del proprietario che ha fornito un supporto completo ed utilissimo nell'arco del soggiorno.ottima la dotazione di hotellerie per il bagno. Parcheggio a 200 metri (20 euro/dì) assolutamente non caro per Firenze.

ad essere pignoli da sostituire con un matrimoniale i due materassi singoli e forse migliorabile l'offerta di prodotti freschi a colazione. Ma sono veramente dettagli che non intaccano la ottima qualità del servizio in toto.
