The rooms are good size for Rome central and the location is very good; can walk to many sites and restaurants. When we arrived , we were not allowed to check in. Hotel said a water problem , however, I believe they overbooked and did not want to admit that. We booked 4 nights, but the first night we were placed in another, lesser quality hotel on a busy street in front of a bus stop. We were told that Residenza Farnese would pay for the first night and we would only pay for the 3 of the 4 nights. When we checked out, the hotel clerk insisted that we pay for all 4 nights. Therefore, I question the hotel's integrity.

The best part of the stay is when I left. I travel more thsm 100k miles a year and stay at 4-5 star hotels.... Ive never had such a horrific experience...its nasty and the staff are not professional by any means.

The staff is very friendly. The location of the hotel is really great. You can walk to most of the important locations from the hotel. They have many good restaurants at (Campo de Fiori) 5 minutes walking only. The hotel is not on a main street. You can only reach it by a taxi or a bus (no metro station). If you choose the bus you will have to drag your luggage on the Roman paving stones for about 5 minutes which is not really comfortable. No iron in the room but many hotels in Rome don't provide it anyway. You will hear it as if it was in your room when they flush the toilet in another room beside yours. Some of the staff don't understand English.

location is great breakfast nice room nice, not so big but not small very clean staff very welcome generally it was great except the internet service which according to our voucher it was supposed to cost 0.5 euro per hour but in fact it is 10 euro per day. as we needed only 1 or 2 hours a day, it can be considered as very expensive at the end we haven't been charged for that however i think internet must be free or symbolic charge it is unfair to charge per 24 hours while it is very clear that you can use it for only 1 or 2 hours

Friendly and very helpful staff; quite reasonably priced for the room and breakfast received; great location centrally located within walking distance of just about every site of note in Rome; and a delicious, filling breakfast to start each day on the right foot. I was very happy with this selection and the positive reviews were right on the money. Highly recommended. Only a minor complaint--we had asked for two single beds but when my traveling companion arrived the beds were pushed together and staff was reluctant to rectify the situation,so she wound up separating the beds herself. Also, the floors are tiled, so you can hear the occupants on the floor above whenever they move the chair in their room. A small area rug under the table and chair would easily rectify this situation.

We liked the traditional Italian decor very much, the spaciousness and cleanliness of the room, and the relaxed atmosphere in the hotel generally. The street was quiet also and the location of the hotel was very convenient for visiting the sites and dining in the evening. We loved La Quercia Restaurant which was very close by. It had a great local feel to it and the food was excellent. We would both definitely stay there next time we're in Rome. The female receptionist on the last morning was indifferent and bored looking but apart from that all the other staff were very friendly, very polite and very professional.

The hotel was in a great location to hang-out at Campo di Fiori and Piazza Navona. It was easy to walk or bus to attractions. The hotels were large and well-appointed. Breakfast was fantastic. Some hotel staff were helpful but most seemed bothered or annoyed to assist with restaurant suggestions or other questions. One particular young woman was on the rude side and was patronizing and just very dissappointing customer service. We waited to ask questions when she was not on duty.

Great location, able to walk to all the sites. Piazza Navona only a 3 minute walk, which is a wonderful place for dinner. Hotel is located on a very quiet street. Breakfast was exceptional. Reception was very helpful. Got us early coffee, fruit and yogurt before restaurant opened at 7:30am. Supplied bathroom toiletries and slippers. They made every effort to accomodate guest. Only criticism would be hotel needs professional decorator as things are miss/match, which is not a great concern to get a well priced hotel room in Rome in a great location.

The location was great. Some of the staff were helpful and friendly. Some of the staff were very unfriendly and not very helpful. The hotel advertized wifi but it was only available for extra fees. There was additional room tax payable only in cash.

Very well run & friendly atmosphere. We were offered internet access free of charge ! Wow ! nice & unexpected treat ! Great breakfast ! Overall excellent value for money ! We will return ! Inside room, high window - no view, excused due to excellent location ! Orange juice for breakfast was rather a mixture of chemicals and tasted like that ....................there is no excuse for this as after all Italy produces the best oranges worldwide !

Superb location - all the main sights of the city are within walking range, with the nearby river making it easy to find. The hotel has a period charm, with pleasant & helpful staff. An excellent breakfast buffet was served on lovely, though mismatched china - most unusual. My room was small - very small - but had all the necessary appointments. The main problem was the position of the toilet. As the bathroom was only some 3 feet wide, it required some gymnastics to use! God knows what a really tall person would do !!

It is in a perfect location for exploring central Rome. The staff on Reception were very courteous, friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is delightful, very Italian in style and tastefully appointed. Our room was spotlessly clean, air conditioned and had a pleasant view from the window. It was quiet at night inspite of its city location. The breakfast buffet was excellent. There were several bars and restaurants within close proximity. We would certainly stay there again.
