Very helpful staff Very noisy in terms of bathrooms next to our rooms, you can hear every drop of water that is flushed in the hotel. The building work outside i.e. the scaffolding resulted in us being woken at 6am and the result was no further sleep-totally unacceptable. |

I liked everything about the hotel. IT's located in the very centre of Rome and at the same time it's quiet because of being situated in a quiet street. Very good breakfast. Nice and clean. Helpful staff The room was too small for three people. In fact it was a double room with an extra bed which made getting out of bed rather uncomfortable. |

The room was beautiful, the location was terrific, and the staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was also very nice. It was expensive but not necessarily out of line with other Rome hotel rooms of similar quality. It was a very nice hotel. I thought it was strange that the 3 nights we booked were priced similarly, but when we tried to book a 4th night, the price for that last night was much higher than the price for the other 3 nights. |

Very central to the main sites of Rome. Near the hop on/hop off bus stops that circulate around the centre. Near to the Piazza Farnese with good restaurants and bars. Quite an informal hotel but clean and welcoming. Breakfast could have been better. Would have liked more TV channels (SKY). |

Excellent location in quiet knook but only 2 blocks to Campo Di Fiori and all the action. We requested and received a room overlooking the beautiful gardens of the French Embassy. Hotel is in very quiet area adjacent to Piazza Farnese and is within easy walking distance of all the major areas - Campo, Pizza Navonna, Pantheon, Trevi, etc. Loads of resturants, cafe's, shops, bars in the vicinity. Very clean room much larger than most European hotels typically are. Very nice size bath and shower. Very comfortable room and in a great location. The hotel staff replied to e-mail requests prior to our trip for room confirmation and arrangements for transportation from airport literally within the hour our requests were sent. |

I thought the hotel was well-run and efficient. They had the best breakfast buffet we encountered on our three-week trip. The room in which we stayed was very small. In addition, the window looked out on very close, enclosed walls. I found it claustrophobic. |

Great location, near most major attractions, in a side street so quiet(ish) at night Staff pleasant and helpful. Breakfast catered for varied clientele and was good. Rooms were very clean, individual decoration and it felt Italian (not chain standard). Noted coments about other room noises, there were some noises from other rooms but no worse than anywhere else and its the occupants who are noisy! |

The staff were very accommodating when we were stranded due to the volcano. They gave us the same room for an additional 4 nights at the same rate for the 4 nights booked. The rooms are not soundproofed very well. You could hear people using the bathrooms on either side of our room. Very noisy plumbing! |

This hotel had the best breakfast of anywhere we stayed in Italy This hotel had lovely photos of rooms in its advertisements, which did not match the reality of the rooms. We decided to pay extra for this hotel based on the photos shown and learned that they were not what we could actually get. The room was ok but we had better rooms for a lower price, and equally good location our first few days in Rome. We also wanted a place with a roof deck and views which this hotel advertised itself as having. We were there on a beautiful day and were told that the roof deck wasn't open yet, was waiting for summer. We explaine that the roof deck was part of why we came to this hotel and were told something along the lines of, "Oh well." It was quite a disappointing place, other than the breakfast. |

Domus Ester
Located in the heart of Rome, beside the famous Campo de Fiori and Piazza Navona, this charming guest house was built in the 17th century and still boasts lovely wooden ceilings.
Most recent booking for this hotel was yesterday at 18:55 “The location is excellent, just minutes away from the Palazzo Farnese and the Campo de' Fiori, and within easy walking distance of the historic centre or across the river to Trastevere. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the place was relaxed and completely unpretentious.” Michael, Blackrock, Co Dublin |
