The room and the bathroom were clean, we had internet in the room which worked quite ok, the staff was very friendly and helped us whenever we requested information.
I just suggest the breakfast to be varied
Very nice nature of the owner and his family was very co-operative and flexible in all respects. Internet speed was good and not much to complain about. The apartment was in a old styled building.
Kitchen was not equipped with some basic utensils, but overall was fine.
Stayed in the family room for 4 for 7 days in August 2014. (1) Very good location in one of the main street in Naples. Walking distance to the busy Toledo Street and the waterfront. (2) Highly convenient and well served by a supermarket which is just round the corner at the end of the apartment block. I find it very useful as I use the apartment's kitchen facilities to cook dinner daily and can get my food items easily from the supermarket. (3) Good service with friendly staff. Punctual breakfast delivery.
Old building (which is actually nice). However, can do with better electrical wiring as the electrical tripped everytime we use the hairdryer. The air-conditioner in the room dripped on the last day of our stay there.
Location is central, close to the train station and to the main tourist attractions. Everything is at walking distance, but there is also a bus stop just in front. The staff is friendly and gives useful tips.
Everything was perfect, except that the lift to go to the room sometime was out of service, but this was a very small issue as the hotel is at the second floor only. I absolutely suggest this place
It was a nice old building in a decent area. The staff was really friendly and helpful, and gave us great suggestions for places to eat that we would never have found otherwise. They seem to know the area well and share that enthusiasm with you. We stayed during Ferragosto -- a time when many restaurants and closed -- and their insight on which restaurants would still be open was invaluable. Would stay again.
The staff was very friendly and helped us with location the places that we would like to see in the big city. Very large bedrooms (Double bedroom) with a large bathroom - very nice! They offer also transport from/to the airport! I would recommend this place to everyone who visits Napoli in the future.
Great Value for your money! I totally recommend Residenza Nicola Amore for someone that's visiting Naples on a schedule with all the confort of a three star hotel. The staff was great, and the hotel is right on the center of the city.
Really enjoyed the friendly welcome and the free coffee we recieved when we arrived! We booked an annex apartment so were driven to it by car which was good. Breakfast was traditional pastries and it was nice to try them.
Really enjoyed staying here!
Everything was great at Residenza Nicola Amore! The staff was very welcoming and helped us with everything we needed. They also told us and adviced what to visit in Naples and around Naples. The room is very nice, clean, safe, with bed comfortable and air conditioner working very well. The bathroom is very clean, with hot water :) The staff is cleaning the room every day! Is close to the central station, close to the port and also historical centre. I definitely recommend this place to stay!!! Thank you so much Residenza Nicola Amore and I will stay again here if I come in Naples! :)
Few things and they aren't such a big problem: - wi fi should work better in the room, but the staff told me will fix this little issue; - you have the same breakfast (croissant, tea, coffee, juice) in the room, every morning, but if you like croissant with chocolate this won't be a problem (I liked very much) - outside is a lot of noise (the all city Naples is crowded and noisy), but if you close the window, you won't hear anything and you can sleep!!! - the staff didn't change the sheets, but we didn't ask for it, so I guess, if you ask this, the staff will change :)
Staff friendly and helpful
Lot of doors and keys to get in.
Very clean, excellent location, almost everything could be reached by foot, very nice and helpfull guy at the reception.
Weak wifi signal, noisy if the room is towarda the main street, though this is normal for such a busy italian town.
Friendly and helpful staff were very accommodating to our requests, even making arrangements to let us stay one more night.
Friendliness of the staff, they make you feel at home and give valuable advice. Excellent location to visit pretty much everything.
Maybe a little noisy, but at a fairly acceptable level.
The room is very nice and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The staff is nice, the guy who works there was always on disposal and the girl has cleaned the room perfectly! The location was is also great, and since the residence is on the main street, we had no bad experiences with the neighborhood. There is a supermarket just around the corner, but also many bars in the street as well!
The towels smelled bad, though they were clean! Also, the coffee is not a proper one, but instant coffee.
The best location you can have in Naples for this price. Located on the representative (which means nice and safe) street, but few stepes from the old town, short walk to metro station (University, but they're constructing a new station Duomo, which will be right at the Nicola Amore Square). 7 minutes walk to railway station (both main and Circumvesuviana to Pompei). It's a residence, and not a hotel, so after 7 pm you're on your own, but it doesn't bother. The young owner is very helpful and friendly. He speaks English. Breakfast "a la Italiana" - fresh and strong espresso, second hot drink and a wonderful pastry to choose. In general all very sweet, need to get used to it if it's not your country's tradition. But very energetic after all. Rooms clean and cleaned all the time, nicely decorated. Comfortable bed (if you like it hard). We were completly satisfied.
As everywhere in Naples the noise on the streets in enormous, so even plastic windows don't stop completly this noise. But that's the part of the particularity of this city. Don't like it - don't go to Naples.
The staff were super friendly and attentive. Our room was cleaned each day which was an added bonus with fresh towels each day. We were upgraded to the studio the weekend we traveled which was a lovely unexpected gesture. The guy at the reception was really helpful with things to do and see.
The shower was a little dated and temperamental.
We were group of friends and we stayed at the one-bedroom apartment and in one twin room. The room and the apartment were very nice. The location was perfect for sightseeing.
It was a little bit noisy in the apartment because is on the street.
- friendly owners, helpfull - good location and safe - decent and large room - one supermarket very close to the place -10 min walk to railstation - Central
- no wi fi in the room - only at reception - cold at night (end January) but we used AC to get warmer - thin walls and you can hear the other guests talking - small TV
The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean with plenty of hot water, the beds were comfortable, the location was excellent and the value for money was outstanding.
Nice B&B, central location, friendly and helpful staff, nice and clean rooms. Safe parking for car at the location nearby.
nice and cosy hotel in the heart of the city. and hosts are really great
The staff are nice, and the hotel's location is good.
There wasn't wardrobe, and the walls are thin.
The location was convenient and the staff were very helpful and it was very reasonably priced
The neighbourhood itself didn't really have any restaurants or cafes nearby and was a bit of a non-neighbourhood
For 3 months in September we were living in Residenza. From there we went to Naples and Campania. This place is localised near the historical Naple's center. From there is close to bus and subway stops and also to a harbour. This makes trips a lot easier. The room is comfortable, quiet, clean (it's tidy up every day). There are IKEA's furnitures. Italian breakfast: great sspresso, capucino and warm Croissants. The service is in English. They are really nice and helpful. Internet 24/7.
