The attitude of the owner Genaro & his family, especially Mario. If every accomodation had people like them, everyone will always have a pleasant holiday. I thought we got far more service than we paid for.
The bathroom & noise from the road
The owner is very kind, helpful. He let us leave our bags in the hotel on the last day and we could sightseeing without heavy backpack.
Close to Spaccanapoli. Friendly and knowledgable manager.
A bit desolate at night.
Situated in a colourful district of Naples, 15 min by foot to the railway station, close to the port and to the Duomo, the great cathedral. Friendly staff. Wi fi was ok.
The breakfast was very simple: a cup of coffee and a croissant.
Rating Mario's good Will would bé a 10. Location is good for good for Access to mamy interesting sites.
Finding the place was not easy. Wi-Fi was weak and unworkable in the room. Lack of a specific room or having breakfast.
Strategic location, good wifi signal, groceries around the corner.
Breakfast very poor and at 8.30 earliest. A lot of noise during night. 4-beds room isn't 2 rooms as advertised but only 1 and 2 extra beds very uncomfortable. Broken things in bathroom. Equipment of kitchen poor.
Safety of bathroom tiles - non-slip.
Inadequate breakfast. Staff not really helpful. Little tourist information available.
- Friendly staff (they adviced nice and not expensive places to eat in Napoli, and good sights to visit) - Very tasty and fresh croissants for breakfasts - 5 min. walk from Circumvesuviana Station and 10 min. walk from Napoli Centrale
- Poor wi-fi signal in the room by the kitchen
convenient location (on one of the main street, basically in the centre of the city), clean room, friendly staff
Room looked very different from that on pictures, windows had no view (might not be important though), noisy street (closing windows helps)
Mario the host was very helpful and pleasant... Great place to stay and very central to everything. Would recommend staying for a few days
We like the young guy so much b/c he was so wam and nice to us. I asked him for hot water and he would make it for me every day. We asked him the best place to eat and he gave us the names with prices which was extra for any one. He gave us the name of the first pizza place and everywhere we need to see in Naples. We had some good time and thanks him. We will come back and stay in his place again.
The area is not too good at night.
Gennaro and Santa always have the right recommendation for their guests. They were very helpful and explained to us life in Italy and especially in Naples during "Prima Colazione". The rooms are spacious and clean. Ideally located for shopping and sightseeing!
The room and the bathroom were clean, we had internet in the room which worked quite ok, the staff was very friendly and helped us whenever we requested information.
I just suggest the breakfast to be varied
Friendly helpful staff, clean room- small but sufficient. Delicious breakfast and great location-very near to the most authentic pizza in Napoli!
wifi did not work in our room but we were provided with a cord. Shower is rather small!
Very nice nature of the owner and his family was very co-operative and flexible in all respects. Internet speed was good and not much to complain about. The apartment was in a old styled building.
Kitchen was not equipped with some basic utensils, but overall was fine.
Stayed in the family room for 4 for 7 days in August 2014. (1) Very good location in one of the main street in Naples. Walking distance to the busy Toledo Street and the waterfront. (2) Highly convenient and well served by a supermarket which is just round the corner at the end of the apartment block. I find it very useful as I use the apartment's kitchen facilities to cook dinner daily and can get my food items easily from the supermarket. (3) Good service with friendly staff. Punctual breakfast delivery.
Old building (which is actually nice). However, can do with better electrical wiring as the electrical tripped everytime we use the hairdryer. The air-conditioner in the room dripped on the last day of our stay there.
Location is central, close to the train station and to the main tourist attractions. Everything is at walking distance, but there is also a bus stop just in front. The staff is friendly and gives useful tips.
Everything was perfect, except that the lift to go to the room sometime was out of service, but this was a very small issue as the hotel is at the second floor only. I absolutely suggest this place
It was a nice old building in a decent area. The staff was really friendly and helpful, and gave us great suggestions for places to eat that we would never have found otherwise. They seem to know the area well and share that enthusiasm with you. We stayed during Ferragosto -- a time when many restaurants and closed -- and their insight on which restaurants would still be open was invaluable. Would stay again.
The staff was very friendly and helped us with location the places that we would like to see in the big city. Very large bedrooms (Double bedroom) with a large bathroom - very nice! They offer also transport from/to the airport! I would recommend this place to everyone who visits Napoli in the future.
Great Value for your money! I totally recommend Residenza Nicola Amore for someone that's visiting Naples on a schedule with all the confort of a three star hotel. The staff was great, and the hotel is right on the center of the city.
Really enjoyed the friendly welcome and the free coffee we recieved when we arrived! We booked an annex apartment so were driven to it by car which was good. Breakfast was traditional pastries and it was nice to try them.
Really enjoyed staying here!
Everything was great at Residenza Nicola Amore! The staff was very welcoming and helped us with everything we needed. They also told us and adviced what to visit in Naples and around Naples. The room is very nice, clean, safe, with bed comfortable and air conditioner working very well. The bathroom is very clean, with hot water :) The staff is cleaning the room every day! Is close to the central station, close to the port and also historical centre. I definitely recommend this place to stay!!! Thank you so much Residenza Nicola Amore and I will stay again here if I come in Naples! :)
Few things and they aren't such a big problem: - wi fi should work better in the room, but the staff told me will fix this little issue; - you have the same breakfast (croissant, tea, coffee, juice) in the room, every morning, but if you like croissant with chocolate this won't be a problem (I liked very much) - outside is a lot of noise (the all city Naples is crowded and noisy), but if you close the window, you won't hear anything and you can sleep!!! - the staff didn't change the sheets, but we didn't ask for it, so I guess, if you ask this, the staff will change :)
Staff friendly and helpful
Lot of doors and keys to get in.
Very clean, excellent location, almost everything could be reached by foot, very nice and helpfull guy at the reception.
Weak wifi signal, noisy if the room is towarda the main street, though this is normal for such a busy italian town.
