Established on the premises of a former monastery and offering panoramic views of the Vatican from the roof terrace, this is the only hotel situated directly on St. Peter's Square.

Opened in 2000, this welcoming home offering a traditional atmosphere and professional service, has been created to enable guests to personally experience the spirituality of this unique place. Drenched in history at the very heart of Christendom, experience the privilege of being able to stay so close to the Holy Father's residence. From the terrace you also have a great view of the window of the Apostolic Palace where the Pope recites the Angelus every Sunday.

Located within walking distance of Castel Sant’Angelo and well connected to the rest of the city by public transport, this is a good location from which to enjoy the art, culture and tradition of Rome, as well as the most exclusive shopping and dining venues.

Rome has many hotels, but this is the only one that stands directly on St. Peter's Square, in the Vatican City area.

The hotel offers breathtaking views of the Papal Palace, with the mighty dome of St. Peter's Basilica towering over it.

The view from the terrace into St. Peter's Square is breathtaking. Excellent location to sites and great restaurants. Very good breakfast.

Excellent location overlooking St. Peteràs Square. I staed in the next place up for a few nights too and rsp is far superior. Staff friendly and helpful and speak very good english. The breakfast room and dining terrace are both excellent.

I love the employees of the Hotel Residenza Paulo vi! They are the best! My father was placed in the hospital for four days and the hotel staff (Stefanie) told me that if I needed a translator to just call the hotel and she would help...what a God send! Thanks

We enjoyed our stay very much. The Location was fantastic, breakfast was very good. The view from the terrace was absolutely stunning and the staff were very pleasant. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Rome.

the pictues on the website do give the impression that the whole of the balcony belongs to hotel there is a small seating area

Very closed to St Peter Square.

The restaurant did not have a lot of choice on their menu (was very basic - snacks). Do not expect any Pizza or Pasta on their menu Breakfast start from 7h30 - bearing in mind that some people would like to have an early start or leave for the airport very early in the morning.

The view from this hotel is fantastic because it is by Vatican. The room is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is nice snd staffes are very friendry.
