Staff were exceptional, especially Aldo and Romania. Jacuzzi and pool were beautiful. Jacuzzi could have been hotter.

Finding photo ulisse was difficult, especially when we arrived after dark. More and bigger signs would have been helpful. Reception on third floor was inconvenient. Need more and bigger signs leading to reception.

Hello. We have a first time was in Calabria,Tropea.This is very lovely,nice part of the Italy.Very clear sea,nice,sandy beaches.Friendly people.The Porto Ulisse we had a very good choise.Really nice,clean apartment.Very lovely garden!!The swimming pool and a jaccuzzi was a perfect.The owener was extremely friendly man!!!The view from the building top was a amazing!!!!We are now very happy that we spent in this lovely place with a very nice week. Thank you very much Aldo everything!!!

Perfect for a family with young children. Great pool area with amazing views, good location within walking distance of Tropea.

Porto Ulisse is a fantastic place for vacation. Perfect location, charming staff, friendly atmosphere and very clean and comfortable apartaments. I highly recommend it for relax.

Private free parking for tourists traveling by car (garage) Good view to Tropea. Beautiful terrace with swimming-pool.

We have had some problems to find the priperty - even with navigation - can't find the address. It would be good to give some info-board on roads near Tropea for travelling by car.

The grounds were very well kept, the roof top bar and pool were beautiful; within a 10 minute walk to the beach; rooms were very clean and functional. Aldo, the owner, and his brother were extremely helpful with info and transport to train station on our last day.

The pool on the roof top with sea view. The apartment on the 2nd floor was big and has a nice balcony. The location was perfect. We could see Tropea from our room and from the roof top terrace. The beaches were stunning!

The bed were not bad but not comfortable either. I did not like the noise of the people on the 1st floor (garden floor). No AC. No mosquito screens in the windows.

We spent a week here just relaxing in the sun and exploring the local area. All the staff made us feel very welcome. There's a pool bar that serves drinks and snacks. Towels are available at just 1 Euro each. It's just a short walk into Parghelia where there are a few shops, cafes and restauants. Tropea is just 10 minutes drive with loads of shops and restaurants (and the best Ice Cream at Novita's) and there's a great beach, Shark Bay, just around the corner with cafes and sunbeds.

Kitchen could be better equipped. (No kettle, No bottle opener) Not a problem for us as we ate out all the time but ok for cooking simple meals. You need to take/or buy dishcloths, washing up liquid etc.

We havent any problem! We like a pool, we like a residence....we like everything there! :)

The pool and the bar on the roof was great, fantastic view Troppea and Stromboli island; nice garden close to our room, convenient garage under the building; the apartment was nice and quite big

Extra Bed not very comfortable, better max 4 people not very suitble for 5 especially if staying more then 1 night

small residence which means the place wasnt crowded. The manager and people working there were friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was small but very clean and perfect for young kids.View from solarium was amazing. The appt was big enough, clean, good facility and big balcony with view on the sea where the breeze was cool and relaxing. No airco but it will be installed on november.

No air conditioning! - this is a must in this part of Italy

Starting with the beautiful upper deck, pool, bar and covered seating area for cafe, ice cream bars, snacks or happy hour. Sunsets are gorgeous over the sea! We even watched the big soccer game on the big screen tv. The apartments, (each with covered porch, chaise, table & chairs) are just what you need for a beach vacation even an umbrella. There is a bbq too. My husband and I traveled with our 3 daughters, 23, 21, & 15 and they loved it. The garden area is very pretty outside the rooms and well kept, as is the rest of the residence. Care is taken and it shows. This staff here is welcoming, friendly, polite and helpful. We could walk or take a very short drive to several beaches, that are postcard beautiful. Tropea city centre is also a close drive but away enough to avoid all the crowds there. There are very good restaurants in the area. Also, a wonderful friendly store a hop, skip & a jump away on foot, for all your needs for the kitchen, bathroom and fruit, veggies, wine and much more. The town is charming and friendly too.

Once that ac is installed it will be even nicer, but we were very comfortable at night and could always hangout at the pool for absolute relaxation. If people place towels to hold chairs for a short time, ok, but it should not be permitted for hours because this is unfair to other guests. It happens, but is inconsiderate. We always found chairs but at a more crowded time, I would hope that it is highly discouraged unless just going back for lunch or the bathroom.

The employees were vere friendly and serviceminded. Specially the owner was a very friendly and happy guy and very helpfull. We really liked the stay at Porto Ulisse and can recommend it very much. We had a nice room where everything worked.

Kitchen utensils could be better.

They were helpful in getting around Tropea and responsive to our needs.

No complaints, would definitely stay again.

We got a bigger room of the residence at arrival without asking. The pool and terrace were fine.

Beds could be better.

Self-catering and they were willing to accept one night stay in shoulder season. Most self-catering have minimum stay 3 nights. The accommodation was very clean and adequate. Expect to pay extra for towels unless you have your own.

The view, the location, the pool & patio and the price. The rooftop pool and bar were a great place to relax with our family. The owner is extremely hospitable as well. He really went out of his way to help us with some of our travel arrangements.

The washrooms needed updating.
