Right in the historic center of Spoleto, looking out onto the Roman Theater and situated within the grounds of the Ancajani Park.

Set in a tastefully restored 12th-century monastery, Hotel Bramante still has its original stone walls and terracotta floors.

Palazzo Bontadosi is in the main square of Montefalco, in the heart of Umbria. Set inside the 15th-century town walls, it offers an exclusive spa with heated swimming pool.
Score from 36 reviews Excellent
Staff and spa facilities were excellent. Olive groves, vineyards & herb gardens added to the sense of tranquility. Picture perfect location just outside the hilltop town of Todi.
Minor irritant, room furniture was sparse and badly located between living room and loft style bedroom.
View of vineyards and fields / pool / terrace.
On arrival we asked where we could eat as the restaurant was closed. The answer was go into Todi... there are several restaurants. After 2 hours of walking around and finding every place either full or closed we shared a mediocre pizza slice. That evening we asked again and were given the same non-advice. So we went into Todi and found that all the restaurants required a reservation. So we settled for another mediocre pizza place. Never, ever have found such a lack of advice or even caring.
This is a wonderful location with excellent views over the vineyards and olive groves, comfortable accommodation with spacious and modern bedrooms.Easy access to motorway and also to charming Todi with reasonable range of bars and reataurants and other visitor attractions. Also convenient for other Umbrian towns including Assisi, Montefalco, Orvieto etc.
Décor and furnishings rather impersonal and quirky - rather modern and businesslike for holidaymakers. Service also rather impersonal and not particularly welcoming. Also there is no bar, so somewhat perplexing at 7.00pm with no one around to order a drink ? This was September so maybe off peak season, but not particularly convivial. Also, although a rural peaceful location, there was very disruptive barking and howling from dogs at the adjoining property even in the middle of the night, necessitating moving rooms to get a decent night's sleep.
Very beautiful rural location but near the lovely old hilltop town of Todi. Very good menu. My groundfloor room had a door opening on to the garden with superb views across the olive grove and vines to the hills beyond. The hotel garden is very pleasant with lots of roses and the outdoor pool is very attractive. The indoor pool looked good.Very helpful staff who even brought me a very comfortable easy chair to my room. ..
There was nothing I did not like - it is just a lovely place to stay.
The internal restaurant was a positive surprise
Wifi has to be reset each time you connect Room comfort is not in line with the level of the hotel services
The room was clean and bright. The breakfast was very good by Italian standards. The views of Todi and the countryside were lovely, although this rather depends on which side of the hotel your room is located
The barking of the hunting dogs at a nearby house.
