This little rooming house is located central and within walking distance of just about anything you might want to do or see in Rome. The elevator was a hoot and the entire atmosphere was a lot of fun. Our room was in back, so it was quiet from crazy Rome noise.
Room was very small, and shower left little room to even reach one's back. Even though there was "free Wifi "offered, it wasn't until the last day before we were able to use it. It was almost impossible to find staff since this is not a hotel there is no front desk.
Friendly staff, quickly responded to our arrival phone call. They also gave us great recommendations for restaurant areas and shopping. Tiny lift, handy for luggage. Interesting 'funky' decor, high ceilings, fun artwork. Best location, you can walk everywhere!
Great Location Friendly staff Lovely rooms The building initially looks a bit dodge but once inside it's fab!
The location, close to Vatican and full of restaurants is definitively a big plus. Situated as a big apartment (each room being a room to rent) makes it very interesting and special. It is located in an old building but very nicely renovated and modernly decorated inside. The staff is nice and really helpful.
The room is bit small and dark. Bathroom is really tiny (but functional). The building is not too appealing from the outside.
Great location - old style building with a lovely renovated room, right behind Piazza Navona and walking distance to the Vatican. Great customer service and staff are very helpful. After we checked in an english speaking lady came and gave a map, brief description of the sites, places of interest/restaurant suggestions and arranged luggage storage which worked well for us. Highly recommend this hotel.
Was a bit hard to find the place as there are no signs outside, may need some directions in the booking confirmation.
Very close to main attractions, quiet room to sleep in, very spacious rooms. Perfect for a 1 night stay. Staff were very helpful.
Hard to find as it isn't very well signposted.
It is perfectly located to walk to everything, eating just across road and all the top sites are a short walk
Spacious quiet room. Lovely old building. Wonderful old lift. Full of character and privacy
Shower head and pressure ok, a bit poor. Bathroom a bit dark. Shower curtain a bit ugly
The landlady is friendly and enthusiastic. The location is perfect!
The room is wet. The landlady is not there sometime.....
The rooms were nice, the location was fantastic. Easy access to great nightlife. Clean. I'd stay again, but only now that I know where it is and when to arrive.
No one was available to check us in despite saying they'd be there, so we had to borrow a phone and wait for an hour. The wifi barely worked. It's difficult to find reception - there's no sign.
- the location was great, close to many of the 'must see' sights. - clean comfortable room though not very big. - very helpful friendly manager
- lift was broken - because it was a suite of rooms rather than a hotel, everyone needed their own set of keys to get in and out which was a bit inconvenient though the manager was very accommodating with extra sets even after checking out when we left our baggage for collection later in the day. - our friends room in the attic had no windows and wasn't very well ventilated so better to request one of the lower rooms - reception not manned 24hrs so check in could be a problem if you arrive when not expected
Clean Beautiful Room A++++++ Location - 5 Minutes in every direction brings you to one of the sights you come to Rome to see Dora is a sweet person!
Make sure you arrive at the scheduled time, as there is no reception and you may have to wait on the street until they can let you in.
Moldy shower, smelly, dark entry, dirty toilet, no outside view from window, plug in air fresheners to mask bad smell
It is nicely located and reasonably priced. Near the train station. The room was clean and we had our own bathroom...
There can be a language barrier if the grandson isn't some.
The location was amazing! The room was good enough, and tidy.
Perfect location. Walking distance to everything. I'm usually quite hysterical about noise when I'm sleeping, but didnt find the "City-sounds" to be a problem.
Great location only a couple minutes walk to Campo di Fiori and historical centre. Bus from Termini station stops right outside front door. The room was very comfortable and quite given it's central location. Staff very friendly and helpful and they looked after our bags when we late a late flight out of Rome.
If you aren't sure of which bus to catch from Termini, then i would suggest a taxi as it there are no metro stations around.
Good location. Room is simple but clean.
We had to pay 20 euros for "late check-in" (never seen that In my life). It was not mentioned on the website.
Very well located (middle of the old city center, 1mm away from Piazza Navona and Campo di Fiori, bus stop down the building for direct access to both Vatican and Colisée), nice and helpful welcoming team, pretty and well renovated modern room.
Street is quite noisy but that the side effect from living in city center
Perfect location for stay! Received very nice welcome from Dora( she is the owner I think). She is very helpful to us.
Fantastic location, clean and stylish room/bathroom, Valentino (the owner I think?) was really helpful, good value for money
Couldn't fault san pantaleo rooms at all, we both had a wonderful stay and I would recommend to any friends or family
Private bathroom, decent size room, easy walk to restaurants and sites including Vatican City. We also appreciated the early check-in and the airport pick-up arrangements.
The beds were narrow and a bit too firm, like really really firm. There was no secure storage for our luggage which left us a bit uneasy leaving it in the front lobby area since this area isn't always staffed during the day. There is no breakfast nor coffee maker though there is a hot water kettle if you are ok with tea or possible instant coffee.
i was to wait twice because nobody was in the repection
The location was fabulous. The staff helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and very quiet.
There was an added bonus of free coffee in the reception area - but the machine was not working properly and the coffee was undrinkable.
Perfect localisation. Very good for a weekend.
No intimity. We heard other guests comeing back to the hotel at night.
