It is compact. Not Hilly. Has the Pieros to view. Lovely churches. Good restaurants and with a car the perfect base to set out from to explore the Tiber valley and the Val d'Arno. Been going there for some 50 years. Just get the maps and start discovering lost castles and churches and glorious scenery.

A beautiful old Tuscan town, with many local bars and restaurants to enjoy. The tourist information was very helpful (in the main square by the Dodecahedron sculpture). Just a lovely old town with much to explore.

We returned after 20 years to revisit the Pierro Della Francesca painting of the Resurrection. Stunning. The ancient town centre is very attractive with magnificent buildings and a good supply of restaurants and cafes. Like everywhere at the moment Covid is affecting business and tourism. Just lovely to wander around.

I went to Sansepolcro for Piero della Francesca.
I went to Sansepolcro for Piero della Francesca. It has the civic museum which housed at least 2 of his masterpieces and is an excellent museum in any event. It is close to Arezzo - church of san Francesco and Monterchi. The restaurants are good and reasonably priced. It is a small compact city but none the worse for that

Classic Italian antiquity, but not awash with tourists.
Classic Italian antiquity, but not awash with tourists. Situated in beautiful and dramatic countryside. The local people were wonderfully friendly and helpful. I particularly enjoyed visiting the Aboca Museum of Herbs and Health over the Centuries. Seeing the Piero della Francesca paintings is awesome.
The hotel is in a splendid location, with amazing views over the surrounding countryside, yet near to the town of Sansepolcro. We had a large bedroom and sitting room, so plenty of room. The gardens are lovely, with a beautiful terrace at the front and a good sized swimming pool to the rear. The breakfasts were very good, and the evening meal was amazing! Lots of home-grown ingredients producing a delicious four-course meal; no menu or choice as such, but excellent food, beautifully cooked. The owner and staff were delightful.
I loved the location in the heart of Sansepolcro! I also loved the size of the room and the fact that the heat worked since it was cold outside. Marco was helpful when I was navigating public transportation to get to Sansepolcro. There was plenty of room for my things and I could come and go as I pleased since I had a key to the building and my room. Be prepared for some noise outside of the window, as there is a bar just outside. But I didn’t mind this as I wanted to be in the center of the town.
Such an excellent location In the old part of beautiful Sansepolcro. Not even 5 minutes to the main square and the town museums. The extra room allowed our daughter who is a student in Sansepolcro to stay with us. The rooms were clean and there was a nice welcome gift for us. Check in was flexible and easy. The rooms are a good value for the money.
I stayed here before...delayed return because of the pandemic.. It is lovely. Beautifully located and the perfect place for viewing the sights of San Sepolcro. They do not do breakfast but your fridge has everything you need to start the day and you can make coffee or tea. It worked for me. And you come and go as you please.
Very clean, cute building. Rooms are fairly big.
Bed was comfortable. Heating and cooling via aircon was pleasant. Owner of hotel is very nice, he spent some time explaining to us the history and sights to see in Sansepolcro and Arezzo.
The accomodation is great value and at a perfect location. Worked fine for us to sleep four adults in the apartment without any issues. Sansepolcro is a very cute little town and we would definately recommend someone to visit.
My stay here was wonderful! On the Via di Francesco, this was the PERFECT stop! While in Italy I’ve stayed at places twice as expensive with half as many amenities. (Like having to pay extra for heating during the winter)
The hotel room was clean and I liked the antique touch of the interior design. The hotel owner was very communicative and he always had a nice smile. The breakfast was tasty! My husband and I really enjoyed our stay!
I liked this little b&b with it's own little charme. It's simple and cosy but a perfect place to stay and feel this special italian flair of Sansepolcro. Also Daniela has been very friendly and caring.
Perfect for a couple my wife and I felt very comfortable the place was very clean and nicely decorated, easy to check in and right in the center of Sansepolcro
Recommended 👍
Booking was not received and there was no room available. We were given a room in the next door hotel. Room there was OK. Breakfast was at Locanda Guidi. Breakfast was good.
Really enjoyed this place, quiet, clean, air conditioned, the owner helpful and friendly.
Sansepolcro is a gem, we hope to go back soon and would definitely stay here again.
Fantastic dinner, one of the best meals I've had in Tuscany; delicious homemade pasta, excellent meat course and very good red wine. Highly recommend to eat here if you stay
Central to everything in old Sansepolcro. Very well equipped and plenty of breakfast choices. Having two bathrooms was very nice. The rooftop terrace was spectacular !
Host is very knowledgeable about Sansepolcro and the Via Francesca, very helpful too. Amenities are well-located, comfortable, and excellent value for money.
Smart modern hotel with excellent room. Large bathroom. Very good air conditioning. Very good staff and excellent parking. I also enjoyed the breakfast.
