Loved the location, easy to walk to so many of Romes's attractions. The view from the rooftop is amazing and great to watch from the jacuzzi after a long day walking in the heat. The host is fantastic! And loved the breakfasts each morning. Would definitely recommend.

    Nothing at all

The location is excellent. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff are very helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The hotel has a great rooftop veranda and is very comfortable and clean. When we return to Rome we will definitely stay there again.

Great location. Pleasant and helpful staff. Very clean rooms. Good breakfast and wifi signal.

The doors in the rooms could be better - too much noise was entering room.

I especially liked the family atmosphere; the friendliness of the staff; the breakfasts that were included in the room price and ease in socializing with staff. It's a good place to spend a few days and visit the beautiful city of Rome

    Nothing to say

The location was amazing; right on the edge of the Forum area (close to the Colesseum), but easy access on foot to pretty much all the major sights in the Centre, and the Vatican an easy bus journey away (we walked back). The roof top terrace has amazing views. If nothing else, this is worth paying for. Plus the rooftop hot tub. A 5* experience. The rooms are lovely and the bathroom was nicely finished. There is a separate walk-in wardrobe room with storage and hanging space, as well as a safe, kettle, etc. Having your stuff stored away is useful, especially as the rooms are on the smaller side- although perfectly comfortable. It was a nice touch having a computer in the room. The breakfast selection was excellent- different cheeses and cold cuts, as well as breads, cakes, yogurts, fruits (fresh blueberries, yum!) and so on. The fresh orange juice each day was a perfect way to start the day. The staff are helpful and accommodating. We had a simply fantastic 5 nights in Rome, with champagne in the hot tub being high on the list of magical experiences. So thank you Sarah, Alvin and Igor for a great stay.

I don't think there's anything not to like about Torre Colonna. I'd say if something isn't quite up to scratch, simply ask and the staff will sort it out for you. They aim for perfection.

We spent five nights here on our honeymoon and we were very impressed. The building is stunning and superbly located within walking distance of all the main attractions. The interior is quirky and interesting but beautifully presented. Our room was a good size with a separate room with safe, fridge etc and a large bathroom equipped with a fabulous jacuzzi bath. The glass spiral staircase to the roof terrace is a bit daunting but it is well worth it. The view from the roof is great and the hot tub is very nice way to unwind after a day sightseeing. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The wi-fi worked perfectly. The staff were very efficient and helpful. We got them to arrange taxis to and from the airport which was very useful. We loved our stay here. It is different from average tourist hotel and has the atmosphere of a top class b&b rather than a hotel. We would recommend it.

There was nothing we didn't like but it wouldn't be suitable for everyone. The winding staircase up the tower is very much part of the character of the building but it does mean it would be very challenging for people with mobility issues.

It's an exceptionally well-maintained and well-run boutique hotel converted from a medieval tower. It sits right in the middle of everything you might want to see in Rome, i.e. Colloseum, Trevi fountain, the Vatican, Villa Borghese - all within walking distance. We spent six days at the hotel and loved every minute of it. Everything was in a perfect working order - coffee maker, tea kettel, jacuzzi in our private bathroom, Sky Channels, wifi, and most importantly, the bed and pillows could have made competition with our own which you don't usually get in a hotel. Plus top notch breakfast and very nice, helpful and hospitable staff too. Thanks so much Alvin and Igor!

    Could not think of anything.

Location, rooms, staff and view from the roof.

Breakfast could be a bit more exciting. But is just fine.

This hotel has a top notch location: only one minute away from Forum Romanum and Piazza Venezia. The Colosseum, Piazza Navona, Pantheon and Trevi fountain are within fair walking distance. Staff is very friendly and offers a super service: we forgot the code for the main entrance several times and were always welcomed with a smile - even late at night. The view on the rooftop terrace with hot tub is stunningly superb. A real value for your money.

Breakfast is quite complete for Italian standards, but it could do with a little more variation. And if I really have to put the dots on the i: the mattress in the room on the second floor needs replacing. It seems like only overweight people have used the left side of it.

Super service from very friendly staff. Rooftop hot tub has a stunning view over Rome, amazing! Attentively served at breakfast. Location is amazing. Building is unique. Room was fantastic and loved all the mild steel bed framework and matching tables. Great shower with about 100 different jet features!

If i have to write something here i'd say i wasn't too sure about the art on the walls of the room, but it was colourful.

Beautiful view from the yacuzy on the top terrace! Not every day you got the chance to sleap in a medieval tower in the middle of Rome! Owner really nice, they provide me a gorgeous gluten free breakfast!

Hotel is a tower dated 1247 equipped by elevator. Location is perfect - in the middle of historic centre next to Romain forum, everything is reachable by walking. Perfect view on Rome from the roof (8th floor), there are tables and jacuzzi and it is opened all the time! Just 5 rooms in the hotel: one room per floor, so quiet and cozy. Breakfast is included: fresh juice, different sorts of cheese and ham, sausages, flakes, eggs, and different sorts of cake. There is all time opened living room with sofas on 7th floor. Sophisticated electronic shower with massage. Triple room contains even bathroom near window. Room is equipped with computer, wi-fi and bar-refrigirator. Good price for low season.
