Residenza Vespucci  

The postion relative to the river, train station, city and the very friendly and extremely helpful reception. The actual room and facilities were excellent. The arrangement in the adjacent cafe for breakfast was also excellent.

The common entry to the building was a bit cold ad dowdy but everything else made up for that.

The host Francesco was, by far, the best host I have ever had. We were welcomed with a hot drink and a lot of useful information about the city. The location of Residenza Vespucci is great, at the city center, very close to the main train station. From there you can reach any of the city's hotspots in less than 15 minutes. The bathroom was very clean with a very good shower. I recommend without any doubts!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Far better than hotel. Room was nice with good view. Location superb.

The location. The Lavazza coffee machine in room. The balcony with the view of the river, the owner was lovely and couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. Nice big room.

Nothing it was all good.

Francesco is one of the main reason this is such a great place to stay. I was traveling on business and only had one day to spend in Florence and Francesco spend the time to help map out the best walking tour in this beautiful city - best of all he gave a killer glass of wine to help me start off my visit. The room was great, perfect for my visit and had a great view of the river Arno. I will be back to Florence and I will be back to stay at Residenza Vespucci!

Location, staff and the room was great. Breakfast was one of the best in Italy, it's presented in a cafe near to the hotel.

The staff were so nice and helpful. The room had a balcony and overlooked the river - great view! It was also in a really handy location. Really good value for money. I'd definitely stay there again.

You had to have breakfast in the cafe beside the hotel, which was a bit limited.

Vey nice staff, lovely place with excellent location just besides the river. Took a lot photos with my wife on the deck of our room. Moved out a bit late but staff was very patient.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Francisco gave us great recommendations of restaurants of where to go in Florence. His help made our stay easy and comfortable. the welcome wine is awesome.

location is very good, especially if you are travelling with luggage, then it takes only 5-10 min from the train station. the staff was friendly.

We stayed there during Christmas time, and it was very cold in the rooms. Although they have central heating, it worked poorly. There was also an air conditioner, but the walls are so high that it was not enough to heat the room up. And the windows are not tight, and let a lot of cold air through! that was very uncomfortable. And another thing is that the building was being renovated at that time, and it was all covered with white drapes, and we didn't see anything from our window. moreover, the workers started to make noise early in the morning. and if your view is on Arno, you should keep in mind that it is also facing the large road, which is rather noisy.

The room was small The room wasn't heated enough to just sit and relax only however more than warm enough to sleep

The size of the room, you cannot move, not open your luggage and we were 2 in the room, and in the description they wrote spacious rooms!!!! We took it for the river view, but no one told us that they were rehabilitating the building so the façade was totally closed, so no view.

Francesco and the staff were wonderful and very accomodating to all our needs. Our suite had a large living room, fireplace, chandaleirs, large balcony overlooking the Arno. Very spacious. The bed was very comfortable. On our arrival Francesco gave us a nice bottle of rosso vino.

The staff is very friendly and tell us the distance between the hotel and the sight spot. The room is clean and well decorated. Good location to view Arno. Enjoy the stay in this hotel.

Location was great. Only a 10 minute walk from the train station. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room had air conditionong which was great as it was hot when we were there. The bathroom was very good.

Really great location, don't forget to book the corner river view room to over look the wonderful scene of Arno River. Compared with the neighbor hotels like Westin and St. Regis will be cost a lot more, really price worthy one to choose. The crew Frencesco is really a nice and helpful guy.

The windows galsses are too thin, and too many noises in the middle of the night, all most can't get sleep until late.

Closeness to train and city. We were met with a nice bottle of wine by the owner and a full guide of what we should do. No more than 10 mins walk from most sites

River view room extremely noisy

very noisy with what sounded like a recycling center for wine bottles which kept us awake all night.

The owner Francesco is really a very pleasant person, who is ready to help with everything any time. Despite the building is old - rooms are very clean and nice and atmospheric, exactly what you expect from Florence:) this is exactly in the center, so outside it can be a bit noisy during night with students passing by on skating tour or just getting together near outside monument that possesses some magic meaning, however this did not disturb us at all, this was inline with overall mood of the city. We had a small balcony towards river view. Rezidensa is close to all central squares and galleries, including Uffizi Gallery. Also there is a continental breakfast arrangement for 5 euro in a caffe next door. So next time we are in Florence our choice is obvious:)
