Residenza Zanardelli  

The location was excellent, a nice walk to all the main tourist areas in Rome.

The breakfast room was extremely small.

The staff were accommodating and discreet; the hotel was beautifully decorated - all the historical were fully preserved but with a modern finish; having a key gave me total liberty to come and go as I pleased, and for €50 their taxi service to the airport was excellent value. Would definitely stay here again.

The shower didn't always have good water pressure - sometimes it was a choice between hot water and strong pressure.

Everything was marvellous, we felt like home. The staff was polite, friendly and caring. The residence was situated in perfect spot for seeing all the city in a short period. Thank you for everything. Caterina - Miltiadis

If I travel to Rome again, I will prefer to stay in Rezidanza Zanardelli again. The area is safe and a living area. There are many historical sites nearby where you can reach by walking. There are two bus stops in front of Rezidanza to both directions and buses come very frequently. The staff was helpful and the hotel was clean.

Checkout time is usually 12 around the world but in this hotel is 10 which is bit early

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Morning pastries were very fresh! Location is ideal as a stones throw from Piazza Navona.

Room was a little small as was the shower room. Shower wasn't great. The shower room could do with an overhaul in my opinion. Had to open the window at night as we couldn't adjust the radiator and no remote for the air con so it was quite noisy. However, we were right next to Piazza Navona so only to be expected really.

We went on a weekendtrip to Rome with my boyfriends parents. I already had been to Rome before so I knew which locations for Hotels are nice regarding the reachability of the most important sights and in fact we were absolutely happy with the location of this residenz, its situated directly in the center were you can eat and go out in the evening, also the Vatican can be reached within some minutes by foot, the piazza si spagna and its shopping streets is close too... The roomes were looking exactly as shown on the webpage and room 5 is really big and especially comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was simple but for italian standard it was really satisfying. We had a great stay in Residenza Zanardelli and I would highly recommend this Hotel to other Rome-visitors!

It's a apartment in a nice building just having 7 rooms( there is an elevator), it's cozy ,rooms are clean ,breakfast was nice. near the bus station where u can take bus to almost everywhere witch make it easier and it's next to the place novana.

The hotel name was on a small plate so we didn't find it quickly. The stuff was not welcoming at all it were just one Pakistanian and it seems he was just doing his job.

Great hotel. Excellent room, helpful staff and great services. I was travelling with my 84 year-old grandmother and them location was great with restaurants and other essentials all nearby and major bustops out front. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Bathroom was more than adequate. Nothing to complain about!

My husband and I both agree that the best thing about Residenza Zanardelli would be the location. Just to name a few hot spots.... We were 5 minutes away from Piazza Novanna, 10 minutes from Campo Di Fiori and the Pantheon, and 20-25 minutes from the Vatican and the Spanish Steps. Due to the supurb location we were able to avoid taking public transportation. Our room was (for Rome standards) enormous!!! We guestimate it was (minus the bathroom) 12 ft. x 20 ft... Maybe bigger... Albeit the bathroom was small- - it was beautifully remodeled and spectacularly clean!

There were a few things we did not like about our stay: - Our room (number 7) was right off the reception area and shared a wall with the kitchen. We could hear every little noise... and I'm guessing anyone in the reception area or breakfast room could hear us as well.... - When you leave the hotel for the day the front desk staff makes you leave your room key with them.... I really didn't like this.... Fortunately the room had a safe. - I occassionally felt that the front desk staff was inconvenienced and/or annoyed by my husband and I... They were not able to provide us with answers to questions we thought to be pretty typical (i.e. where can we exchange USD for Euro?)..... And a few times one staff member in particular completey ignored our greetings. I wouldn't neccesarily describe the staff as friendly.......

I liked the location it was very close to both the Vatican and central attractions in Rome.

The breakfast was served kind of late for if you wanted to get out and about places early like the Vatican and Ancient Sites (I did not have it on 2 of the mornings as it was later than I wanted to get going). It was a bit difficult to find so it would be good if they mentioned that they do not have a noticeable frontage and that you will have to ring the bell to get in to reception as it is on the second floor and past a locked door to get there.

This is Not 4* hotel ,it is b&b with good location, and location is only thing I liked

We arrived just before 10 pm and the hotel was very quiet, air con was on and the room was clean and tidy. we were two females and we felt very safe and secure in the hotel which was part of a building that also appeared to be residendential. The location was great, able to walk to all sights. Breakfast was included and there was plenty to eat. Hotel staff were quiet but courteous . The room was cleaned and we had clean towels everyday.

The bathroom was compact but clean. shower worked well, plenty of hot water. Would have loved tea making facilities in the room , but this is a very english desire i think!

Location. Very close to Piazza Navona as well as the Discoteques on the river Tiber.

The skeleton keys are hard to operate.

It's a small (7 rooms) hotel/B&B, located in an apartment in a building right on the Piazza Altemps. The location is fabulous -- two blocks to Piazza Navona, 4 to the Pantheon, 1 block to a bridge across the Tiber that gives "the standard" view of St. Peters with the Tiber in the foreground. The facilities are comfortable, good price, and the staff is eager to please.

Like most European hotels, the breakfast is nothing to write a letter home about, but it's adequate. The rooms could be a little better soundproofed. But it's a very nice small hotel/B&B. If you want a central location at an affordable price, you can't beat this.

This is a great hotel with excellent prices, beautiful clean rooms, good breakfast, friendly and very helpful staff. The location was perfect for visiting the historical sites of Rome, safe area and close to shopping, dining. Beautiful hotel, I am going to suggest to anybody I know traveling to Rome and I sure return to the same place. Thank you Residenta Zanardelli.

rather close to Piazza Navona; a simple and clean room. A good idea to gather guests at one table when breakfast - makes you feel included into one tourists family. Breakfast is rather assorted, that is not usual for Rome small hotels.

no feeling of comfort and coziness, a very simple hotel. It's difficult to find if not by taxi. No tea/coffee set. A bathroom is very small.

Great location - very convenient to get around. Rooms were simple and small, but nice and new. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Bem localizado, próximo a pontos turísticos. Quarto amplo e confortável, além de bonito e com janelas p a rua. Liberdade de entrar e sair, funciona bem como um Bad and Breakfast.

Local do café da manha nao é legal, mas há como melhorar e nao compromete a hospedagem

Fint værelse med både stor seng og en sofa. Pænt bad og toilet. Et hyggeligt lille hotel.

Meget lydhørt hotel. Værelserne ligger allesammen tæt op af receptionen, så lyden af telefoner og dørklokken der ringer, samt snak fra gæster der tjekker ind og ud var meget tydelig at høre inde på værelset.

De ligging is perfect, tussen het Vaticaan en de Piazza Navona, dicht bij alle winkels en gezellige straatjes
