Rustig, goed ontbijt, ruime kamer. Relaxte sfeer

In onze spil level kamer was het boven -de slaapplaats- al nu in april veel te warm en geen werkende airco. Ramen open heerlijk maar veel muggen! Badkamer klein met douche in bad: gezien de prijs viel dit wat tegen.

Personeel vriendelijk, rijkelijk ontbijt.

Persoonlijk hou ik niet van donkere kamers. Deze kamer was donker. Maar aangezien ik er alleen sliep, heb ik het uitgehouden

Ik reisde alleen als ouder met mijn twee dochters (16 + 18 jaar), dat maakte de ruime duplex-kamer (met een mezzanine) zeer aangenaam. Ik had mijn privacy en de kinderen ook. Alleen was het sofabed niet erg comfortabel (voel het nu nog aan mijn rug ...). Verder vond ik de duiven die 's morgens mee aan de ontbijttafel zaten niet erg aangenaam. Daar zou iets moeten aan gedaan worden. Voor de rest aangenaam personeel, hulpvaardig, zeer rustig gelegen hotel en dicht bij een vaporetto-halte (praktisch).

All the staff were sooooo friendly and helpful, we all felt really welcome. The location was quiet yet within easy walking distance of the water buses both from the Pl Roma (from airport) and around the Grand Canal. The rooms were quite spacious and well appointed, very good breakfast, we had a celiac in our party and they couldn't have been more understanding and helpful to ensure she had a good choice of gluton free foods. There are several good restaurants within easy walking distance. I would recommend this hotel to anyone else without reservation

The tv signal was variable and the internet link within the tv didn't work at all, neither particularly critical but disappointing all the same

Excellent quiet location. Breakfast fantastic and set you up for the day. Bar was friendly, prices reasonable and very well stocked. A little haven.

Quiet & relaxing environment, nice courtyard to sit out in, very good choice for breakfast, handy to waterbus for access right around Venice

It was in a beautiful location outside the tourist area with many restaurants nearby serving local food of good quality, but still within walking distance of central Venice. The staff were very helpful, the room was well thought out (although the sofa in the Junior Suite was impossible to sit on comfortably), the bar area had a pleasant ambience & the garden area was a pleasure in the evening. The hotel was quiet at night & breakfast was available until a sensible 11am. The hotel was perfect for all our needs.

The only comment I would make is that the beds were hard & the sofa was made of slippery faux leather with a ridge which was uncomfortable to sit on & which desperately needed more cushions.

We got an upgrade to the amazing junior suite. Very friendly staff, especially Mohammed. Location in the Jewish ghetto which is lovely, safe and easy to reach by foot or vaporetti. Excellent breakfast, great bar. The welcome drink was nice, the Spritz Mohammed made us was the best we had in Venice (and we compares a lot of them!) They have an endless stash of maps to show you where to go. When we asked for a restaurant, they mentioned six and called them untill reservations could be made. After we left we had some problems at mestre and when we called them they were very friendly and helpful.

The coffee at breakfast is horrible. Don't even try, you can ask the staff for a better one, adter some pushing they'll bring it for free. The room wasn't cleaned thoroughly every day, they only did the necessary. The bathroom was flooded every time we took a shower. The room was noisy. It was next to another suite with stairs and we heard the children running up and down all morning. (and the talking and coughing at night). Last, the airconditioning switched on randomly. Since the lowest temperature was 23 we kept it switched off, but it did switch on now and than. An open window provided coolness so it wasn't too bad. Those were a few small complaints but the hotel was amazing. Very affordable for Venice with a lovely staff.

Helpful friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Quiet location but easy walk to water bus and bars and restaurants.

We rated this hotel as a 4 stars although it is a 3 star hotel. Rooms were beautiful, new, clean and super big with a mezzanine. Hotel staffs were super friendly and hotel reception is grand (trendy). Will definitely go back to this hotel. Highly recommended.

You need to walk for 10 to 20mins to the Water bus stop "transportation". Good for us, as our kids are teens. Not so suitable for family with elderly parents in their 60s and above.

The staff were so helpful from the minute we walked in the door. They immediately pulled out a map and explained the best way to get around and what to see in our limited time in Venice. Breakfast was as good as any I have seen in a 5 star hotel.

Location, historic building, value for money

This was our first visit to Venice and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel was beautiful inside, very well looked after and the staff could not be more helpful. You need to do your home work before you go to venice as finding your way around to start with can be a little taxing. The hotel is very easy to find from the water bus. The breakfast in the hotel was great. The hotel is about a 25minute walk from St Marks square, which we found good as we liked the walking and down the picturess roads and small walk ways. Depending on your age and mobilty depends on if you want to stay here for access to the main areas. We would definately recomend this hotel should anyone wish to visit Venice. *****
