Large room. Great location
wonderful breakfast, beautiful rooms, clean, cozy, perfect location - walking distance from all parts of the city and train station
Great location. Staff were helpful and we were able to leave our luggage at reception. Charming small hotel.
All was good.
Location. Politeness of all staff. Decor.
It was all very good.
The location was great, good security, good breakfasts, clean, and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. The air conditioner worked great, and it was really hot when we where there.
Little hard to find when walking but worth the trouble because it was centrally located
cozy character very original rooms with painting on the walls well air conditioned nice localization
not so comfortable bed
great breakfast and lovely rooms. very friendly staff
nothing all was good
Location Breakfast Room
Location was perfect, breakfast was lovely, staff were very helpful, room was fantastic and cleaned to a high standard every day.
Can be a bit noisy due to location, but good luck finding anywhere that's not in the centre of Florence!
Size of room was great, we stayed in kind of suite.
Out dated, not really clean, bathroom small. Old mattress, old furniture, not good wifi. You could hear all traffic from the street, the windows are not soundproof at all, could not sleep well.
Staff/owners very friendly and welcoming. Beautiful rooms and serves an excellent breakfast.
Great location, short walk from train station, duomo and most places of interest. Quiet. Lots of restaurants nearby. Spacious and comfortable.
We stayed at this hotel for only one night in Florence because the first hotel we stayed at was only available for our first two nights. Because we stayed at two florence hotels similar in price, I feel like I have something to compare this one too. Let me just say that it looks much older and less "romantic" than the photos seem, and they make you pay for everything in the room (minibar items etc.) The staff was not unfriendly, but sort of seemed like they didn't care a whole lot either way. Prior to our stay here, we stayed at Corte Dei Neri in Florence for the same price. Definitely stay there!!!! It's 100x better.
Great location near the train station yet still close to all the sights, clean and comfortable rooms, fabulous breakfast every morning with fresh fruit, cappucino, and a large assortment of pastries, breads and cereal.
The fact that there were no front desk staff or employees available from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m., just in case of an emergency. Wifi was spotty and non-existant our last night there.
Location was great. The breakfast was good.
Pricy for the value. No AC, loud street noise at night. Staff did not have a firm understanding of English.
Hospitality, helpfulness, and a warm attitude existed within the hotel. We both enjoyed the breakfast provided, one morning we where late for breakfast, and they insisted that we should not go without. Close enough to walk to all the cultural attractions Duomo, Ponte Vecchio etc. Also 5 minutes walk to Santa Maria Novella train station, if you wished to travel to other major towns and cities in Tuscany. We would book the hotel again, as it was an enjoyable stay.
Not so much we didn't like, it tends to be a little noisy late evening, but then it is a busy and vibrant city.
Excellent location. Size and furnishing of room was fabulous (though we were upgraded as our booked room was being redecorated). Friendly, helpful staff. Well presented breakfast with good variety including home-made yoghurt. Best value mini-bar we have ever experienced with nice wines which were no dearer than in local shops. All in all, a wonderful experience.
Only drawback was the noise, but it is an old building and there isn't much they can do about that as it seemed to be coming through the roof rather than the excellent double glazed windows. If you want to stay in the centre of Florence then you are going to have to put up with that I guess.
the price is a little bit high
Excellent location. Staff super friendly. Lovely breakfast. Cleanliness excellent. A great place to stay. We had a huge room which was fantastic. Would definitely recommend here and would definitely go back.
Breakfast complete and well served in a lovely room, staff very pleasant and helpful. Rooms very clean and furnished with good taste. Location perfect for getting around on foot to every attraction. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recomend this B+B to everyone.
The breakfast was very good, the suite no 21 was beautyfully furnished and painted. The location is very near to the dome, good restaurants are nearby.
We stayed in Suite No 21 - it was very noisy, you could hardly sleep during night because of the noise of people passing by.
Very clean, spacious and very good location of all the major sights and shops.
Very noisy on a night into early hours of the morning with street cleaners and shops, restaurants closing.
