A great downtown location in the classic medieval walled city of Siena, Italy. Two story walk up. |

Central location, character of the hotel, helpful staff and well equipped and comfortable room Entrance to the building is a bit dark and dismal but cannot be helped as the hotel is on the 3rd floor of a very old building. |

Nice room, although the double bed had only one side lamp. Situated in old town, very close walk to restaurants, campo and all shops. Helpful staff and adequate breakfast. Sadly, I have to agree with others who have mentioned extreme noise. Not so much a complaint, just facts. For a normal sleeper, earplugs were inadequate for what went on until 3am nearby. Hotels all need to demand civic consideration of resting visitors, not just the endless amplified 'pleasure' of a bar full of what must have been deaf drunks. Couldn't recommend any hotel near that problem. |

Small Breakfast room too small. The info about hotel does not mention that the entrance is at the top of the building and the lift needs to be taken to the top floor, also noisy at night |

Luxury in the best part of Siena, quiet for a city hotel, though ear plugs were provided... Location, location, location. Stayed in a roomy suite, very nice with separate area for 17 yr old grandchild. Large bathroom. Friendly, helpful staff. Not a complaint, but a curious, cautionary remark to acrophobics: Ads say 3 floor, but it seems like 5. Elevator exit at top overlooks courtyard way, way down below, There are a few steps back down to hotel reception, but staff was quick to help with luggage. |

The location of the hotel was great. Just steps away from the plaza and not far from the bus departure for Florence. I loved this hotel but would remind travelers to call before entering the walled area. We were happy to find that they offerred valet service which is great and helped in moving luggage. |

The staff were very helpful. This is a very central hotel and from the views from my window I could see roof tops and the hills. The hotel itself was nicely decorated and I loved the mixture of old beams, old tiled flooring and design. The gloomy entrance and the exterior lift. The hotel is on the 3rd floor so a lift is needed but its not appealing. |

Extremely helpsome front desk personell! Difficult parking, and very hard to approach the hotel by GPS! Lead us into only one way streets. |

The woman who cleaned the rooms was very nice and I enjoyed chatting with her, despite my small amount of Italian. The room was very comfortable and attractive and the bathroom was great. The gentleman who checked me in was very helpful about upgrading my first room, which I found too small for a one week stay, even for a single.. The man on duty when I arrived was helpful and very accommodating and I was sorry not to see him more. The other two had a grumpy attitude, and altho' they responded to my needs, were not as pleasant an experience as I would have enjoyed. The breakfast was acceptable, but I did find it confining, as others had mentioned. |

the receptionists, especially luigi, was helpful. We booked for one room @ 79 euro, but it was later on that we realized it was for one person only. So when we asked for an extra bed, we were charged an additional thirty euro. I would suggest that when somebody books a room, it should be for a room which ordinarly is with two beds, and not on "one person" basis. It's just our observation. |

the key thing is the location, within a block of the Campo in Sienna -- and about three blocks form the bus station. That said, it was an average experience in terms of room, facilities and breakfast: all the facilities but nothing special. Breakfast was the disappointing bit, both in quality and organization. |

The location was great, near the Campo. The rooms were as indicated in the website - architecturally interesting, albeit pretty basic. Fairly unhelpful reception staff - the first shift at least tried, the second night's shift were just grumpy, with the pratcialy help on dealing with the peculiarities of Siena car parking. |

Location is very good. The place is very home like. Very comfortable. The shower is a bit small. The front desk people could be more helpful. |

The location was outstanding! Conveniently located to all the sights and easy walking distance. Lots of street noise at night, especially on the weekend. If sleeping is important to you this would not be the place to stay. If you can look at it as part of the adventures of traveling than I would recommend staying here regardless. You can always ask if there is a room on a quieter side of the hotel! |

The shower is great, better than a real Jaccuzi. The bed is strange, one side is hard and the other side is too soft. |
