Unique location & accommodation. Very cosy particularly with log fire lit. Close proximity to town centre.
Lack of comfortable seats. Limited hot water for shower.
The initial experience of seeing all the Trullis.
I didn't like the blatant commercialism. Everywhere you went there were shops/stalls all trying to sell you the same thing. I understand that this is a tourist resort, but it was over the top. In addition, there was a sameness about the whole area, in that you see one Trulli, you have seen them all.
Mariano, our host, was extremely helpful and gave us valuable information about the history of the Trulli in Alberobello. He went out of his way to welcome us and looked after us very well, making sure we had everything we needed. Our Trullo was in the centre of everything and very comfortable.
Nothing. We loved everything.
The owner was very-very-very kind, and helpful, showed and told us everything about the region. I've never met owner like him before, Beautiful trullo-flat, totally equipped, like home, in the heart of the old town. Thank you so much!
Nothing negative, we'll come back someday.
A real Trulli house experience. Exceptional personal welcome by the owner Mariano - a lot of information about Trulli history, house itself and a life there. Guidance for Alberobello sites, places to see or visit, restaurants etc. A lot of information about Puglia region also. House itself is very well equipped, clean and comfortable. And "it is your home" in all aspects as Mariano said. Thanks a lot!
WiFi is public (not in-house WiFi access point) so coverage is a bit poor
Mariano was amazing! He met us, helped us with parking & the luggage & gave us a guided tour of the Truilli. The truillo was clean, comfortable and contained all that we would need for the 3 nights we spent there. As Mariano said, , "it was our home"for the time we were there.
We liked everything.
The level of personal service was extremely good when welcoming us to our house. Even afterwards since we forgot an item which was sent onward to us at another hotel - great job! The location was great and the house looked truly genuine "original"
Trulli Resort Monte Pasubio Quite an experience to spend the night in a trulli. Host was extremely nice and helpful; he waited for us to arrive about one hour, and he tried to explain all the things to be seen and done in the city. Too bad we did not have enough time. He also made a small gift to our daughter, which was very happy to receive it.
You will need to carry your luggage from a nearby parking to the trulli, but there is nothing that can be improved about that; there is no traffic allowed in trulli part of the city.
This was a lovely surprise, the Trulli was fab to stay in and Mariana was so very helpful
Being right in amongst all the Trulli houses made exploring very easy in this wonderful World Heritage Sight and our host was very informative about the houses and the area
Would be nice if the Trulli had a bit more ventilation but not really a issue
Staying in a trullo is an experience of a lifetime. The trullo where I stayed is beautiful, spacious, very clean, and has everything you need including a well-equipped kitchen and a fireplace. The town of Alberobello itself feels like a step back in time, wandering through winding streets of trulli, churches, little shops, parks and olive groves - as well as upscale shopping. I had lunch underground in a fantastic restaurant that used to be an old olive mill. Above all, the trullo owners are incredible hosts, explaining history, providing information on the town, waiting for our arrival at the train station even though I had to take a later train than expected - they even brought me dinner one night because I couldn’t get to the store! Staying here is an experience you will treasure for the rest of your life.
Excellent experience. A beautiful trullo from the 15th century, but with the amenities of the 21st century. Mariano is the best host and knows everything about Puglia and can give great recommendations!
We payed 80 € and had an entire romantic Trullo house for ourselves. Clean. Excellent bed. Great Location within the main Trulli area.
Small shower can be a problem when you are tall. Another Trullo was printed on our reservation so we first went to the wrong place; we called the host and he directed us to the right one. The host was friendly, but talked in good English without stops. Self-preparation of basic breakfast.
Location, good information from staff. Help with luggage and we got a ride to the station. Water, juice and coffee provided. Calm and quiet, relaxing. Everything was excellent except the so called breakfast.
The packed, in plastic, sweet breakfast.
Living in our very own trullo itself, for one, plus the rest of the beautiful and interesting town. So unique and enchanting an experience, indeed! And last but not least, the one making it more memorable, was our gracious host, Mr. Mariano, who picked us up at the train station, toured us around, giving tips where to eat and see places, and who picked us up from the trullo to drop us at the bus station on our return trip to Bari. His place topped the chart as to the best accommodation ever for us.
Excellent, enthusiastic, helpfull service of Mariano. Special place to stay.
Unable to get wifi up and running, bed frames and shower need some renovation.
Good to be picked up at the train station, and excellent background history of the area.
The hotel is close to all the attractions
The bathroom is very small, shower is tiny, heated water is very limited. The room was not cleaned on the second day. Noisy street.
Very small and uncomfortable. People need to be prepared for it.
Attention from Mariano the trulli owner
Breakfast selection could do with some fresh options
Wonderful unique experience staying in an historic trullo but with all the modern conveniences!
Information, facilities and greeting.
We appreciated the drive to Matera for 70E extra.
We did not know using the fireplace was 20Euros extra.
It is a great place to stay with children. It is lovely having a kitchen - and the fire place was really great in winter.
Although the bathroom was lovely and spacious - the shower cubicle was really tiny.
We loved our Trullo House. Staff was very nice and gave great information about the history of the house and area. Very nice experience.
