Pugnochiuso is an exclusive resort located on the Apulia promontory of Gargano, inside the Gargano National Park.
The resort covers an area of about 150 hectares and occupies a wonderful position overlooking the sea and the adjacent bays: Pugnochiuso and Portopiatto. The Tourist Centre, purchased by the Marcegaglia Group in 2001, has been completely renovated to create a unique holiday experience.
The four different structures of Pugnochiuso, designed to meet all requirements are: Hotel del Faro (4-star); Hotel degli Ulivi (3-star); Villette delle Macine and the Residence del Belvedere. The most exclusive among all structure of Pugnochiuso is the Hotel del Faro: standing on a characteristic cliff, immersed in a lovely pine grove and the typical Mediterranean maquis, the hotel is located at the tip of the Bay of Pugnochiuso, in a wonderful position with a panoramic view.
The hotel offers a range of facilities and services to ensure that you hotel is comfortable and memorable, exclusive for Hotel del Faro guests:

Accessible to all:
- 2 sea-water pools, one of which Olympic-size and one pool for children; mini football field, with grass; table tennis; sail boats; surf boards; canoes; archery; 3-lit clay tennis courts; 2 multi-purpose tennis/volleyball hard courts, with night lighting; a cement tennis court; a beach-volley court; 2 synthetic grass 5-a-side football/tennis courts; and water polo.
Beach:
The Resort has 2 beaches, both of which have very fine pebbles and can be easily accessed by a shuttle service. At the beaches, guests can rent sun umbrellas, deck chairs and sun beds, pedal boats and, at sea, buoys for mooring their craft.

Baby/mini club and junior club:
Special attention is given to younger guests:
- Baby and mini club for children aged 4 to 12 years, with a personalised entertainment programme and game/sports activities from 09:30 - 18:30 (meal times excluded)
- Junior club for children aged 12 to 17 years with a specially designed weekly programme.
The Ulivi restaurant is in the shopping centre of the La Piramide resort, and is also accessible (on request) to guests of the residence.
Hotel del Faro has its own restaurant and bar, where after dinner all guests can enjoy music at the piano bar; there are 4 bars in and around the complex.
During the week (July and August), in addition to the rich list of events scheduled in the entertainment programme, guests are invited to 2 theme dinners (Typical Apulia style and Neptune), and to a Gala Dinner (for our goodbyes), with sweet buffet and Spumante at the hotel’s poolside.
At the Hotel degli Ulivi an Italian breakfast is served.
At the Hotel del Faro an American breakfast is served.
From Pugnochiuso it is possible to take tours to: Vieste; the Castellana caves; Alberobello; the Tremiti islands; Grotte marine; Monte S.Angelo; and S.Giovanni Rotondo. Guided excursions around the Foresta Umbra by mountain bike are also available.

la location é ottima lo staff anche qualche piccolo particolare é da migliorare la struttura è un po' troppo datata il fatto che la pulizia delle camere sia fornibile entro le due di pomeriggio è abbastanza grave il buffet anche se generoso è un po ripetitivo e scarso di cucina tipica pugliese le serate a tema al buffet sono annunciate ma abbastanza impalpabili .Sono però solo piccole cose
