The views from the hotel are stunning. The food is excellent and they have their own winnery. Their wines are well worth trying especially the red wine. The whole ambiance makes for a very pleasant stay and I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. The hotel is difficult to find and you definately need a car.

Set in a beautiful and quiet location, among vineyards, this would suit the Anglo-Saxon idea of 'rural' Italy. Extremely helpful stuff, especially at breakfast. My gps went mad on my way back at night and ended up spending 30 minutes driving through the back roads of the area, including a dirt track. Found it at the end by chance... Not on the 'beaten' track...

This hotel exceeded our expectations. It was comfortable with a large room and nice bathroom. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was superb and the restaurant staff very professional. We really enjoyed the meal we had at the hotel. Many people said it was a hard hotel to find -but we found it no problem by doing a google map search before we left home. It is also listed as near Marsala but it is quite a long way, so not a good hotel to access Marsala from unless you have a car, which we did. For us it was perfect - comfortable, romantic, classy and quiet. I would definitely visit again! One negative is that being January, it was empty except for us, and so on the first night the restaurant didn't open. We were not told it would not be open so waited around in our room for 2 hrs until opening time only to be told we would have to go into town for our meal by which time it was getting late. However, it was arranged to be open for us the following evening and was thoroughly enjoyable.

Very comfortable hotel, fabulous surroundings, good location but one needs a reputable gps to find at first. would gladly stay again if in the area. Would have liked bigger election at breakfast given it's an upmarket type of accomodation

We had a wonderful time, this was my birthday treat and exceeded all my expectations. Must thank laura and andreas in reception and all the restaurant staff who looked after us. My wife has a cronic illness and was spoilt by all. We even had two bathrooms and a sitting room for the basic price. If your ever in sicily and want luxury, peace and quiet you must visit the baglio oneto. Some say it's hard to find, however it's only 10 minutes from the birgli airport roundabout, take the marsala express road, take 2nd exit right, right at lights, 50 metres right again and follow the signs. Will return again.

Setting - views - staff was very good. Physical impression of Baglio Oneto was excellent. Rooms were good. Sky tv limited. Were quite happy until our last night when a large sporting club with many young boys stayed at Hotel. Most were in our end of the hall and they were running and shouting for quite a long time that evening, I had to open my door and tell them to be quite,. Then later, after what may have been a large party in another section of the Hotel, again there was yelling, screaming (not fearful), shouting for about 30 minutes - this at 0130 in the morning and right under our window.. I recommended to the hotel that if they know a large group of potentially loud and rowdy children are going to stay there, that they ensure the other guests are not trying to sleep in the same area - quiet guests should be put in another section without the loud children, also - there should be a house wine. We had to buy a bottle which was more expensive than we expected. If the hotel has a winery, they they should have a house wine.

We came very late at the hotel (after midnight). The stuff was very pleasant, everything was ok. The main reason I took two rooms was the fantastic price and that hotel is very close to the Trapani airport. I recomend the hotel very much!

It was lovely. Rooms were confortable, and decorated and furnished just beautifully. Breakfast was in the courtyard each morning. There was a large selection of meat, cheese, fruit, eggs and pastries. The wait staff was 5 star. The pool area was very pretty and relaxing with a great view. The location. Our Garmin just could not entirely find it. We read similar remarks, did our homework and still had problems. We stayed there four nights and comming home after dark was quite an experience, to the point of paying someone 10 euros to help us find our way back the the Baglio. I still loved it there, and would go back again.

The Hotel was surprisingly great. In coparison to other hotels in Sicilia - best value for money. Very clean and comfortable, pleasant and helpful stuff, very nice restaurant. The best hotel we've been in Sicily

This was a beautiful facility. The only problem when we originally booked it was that we thought it was closer to Marsala. Once we found the hotel we were very pleased with the accommodations and wonderful buffet breakfast. We had dinner there where we found both staff and food was excellent.

Peace and quiet and view The Resturant and the waiters. The food was to bad and menucard to small. If you build an "open prison" where you are dependent of a car, you have to get a better choice of the menu. And the waiteres can´t speek enough English. Maybe you could take a photo of the menu to put on the menucards, so you can see what you get. Breakfest selection was too small. We ask 8:30 for an eeg "uova fritte" and get the answer, that the kitchen was close. Next day same time we ask for an "Uova Auq coque" and get the same answer.

A very nice hotel outside Marsala,clean and comfortable rooms,and brekfast and dinner was good . I would like to go there again,and enjoy the pool and the sun . We arrived late in the airport,and it took us several hours to find the hotel.I suggest them to write a better direction on the homepage,then it only take 15 minutes from the airport ! .

We enjoyed our stay at Baglio Oneto. Very good base to discover the Trapani/Marsala region. The view from the pool is great if you want to relax and enjoy the sun. The staff is very professional and the hotel provides everything for a comfortable stay (clean and well furnished rooms (we were in a delux room),wireless connectivity,can lunch/dinner in the hotel, big parking...We will go back to the same hotel if we ever get back in that region. Really nothing to complain about apart from the wasps which were annoying during breakfast. The hotel has a great courtyard but we often had to get our breakfast indoor to avoid disturbing wasp squads...

A hidden diamond in the Sicily. Four stars but should be five. People really friendly, excellent atmosphere, clean swimming pool and quieter place. You need a car as it's 10 minutes from the city.

Beautiful location in an old Sicilian 'Baglio'. Authentic nature surroundings and own wine production. Close to the airport of Birgi/Trapani. Spacious rooms with balcony. Romantic dinner in the central courtyard. Swimming pool with seaview.

“This was Sicilian hospitality at its very best. We missed the turn off for the hotel due to lack of good maps (our fault), the owners drove out to find us and took us back to the accommodation. We had a flat tyre on our rental car and the owner took it out at 10pm at night to pump it up for us. We opted for the breakfast €5 per person and it was lovely, fresh strawberries, fruit juice, various little biscut type snacks, all home made and served outside on our patio! The owners couldn't have been nicer, very friendly and welcoming. Lovely surroundings would have liked to stay longer. Thanks!” Stephanie, London |
