The room, the building, the windmills, the beach facilities
The restaurant in the adjoining hotel has a limited and disappointing menu.
Charming hotel with few guest rooms surrounded by acres of grass and overlooking the seaside. The name Mulini certainly named after the old windmills, make it a very particular hotel. In fact the reception and lobby area is built in one of the windmills. Baia Dei Mulini which is run by the same group of companies is very close and one can make use of its services including the pool which is bigger than the one at the Resort I Mulini. Although I was glad that we stayed at Resort I Mulini and not Baia Dei Mulini.
The breakfast was ok for one like me who is not used to eating too much in the morning. Although in my opinion there should be more variety of breakfast items to be up to a standard of a 4 star hotel. Coffee to be made available self service instead of having to ask the waitress for coffee. However on the whole it was fine.
Quiet hotel with few rooms most of them overlooking the greenery that surround the hotel and a side sea-view. There is a 5 minute drive to get to the centre at a reasonable price of 10 euro for 2 pax while 20 euro for 8 pax.
Alternatively you can walk to the centre through the back streets or along the coast road while enjoying views of the sea and Ligny castle. It is not advisable to go on foot in summer.
We liked everything about the hotel, the location, the beach, the rooms and staff were very helpful
The breakfast could be better. Coffee not self service and variety was fair, but this is not a complaint just a comment for improvement.
if you just want to go and have a short break relax and just swim read lovely view then its the best place to be front desk staff were great
the breakfast was very poor for sure not a 4 star and the waitress was just total ingnores you untill she feels like offering you a cup of coffee or cleaning tables if you need a taxi the hotel taxi that they use be careful very charming man but he will total rip you off on taxi prices
I enjoyed the atmosphere and the ambiance. The sea was close and even a swimming pool was available. Very clean sheets and well kept rooms. Breakfast was also in abundance. The area is quiet and away from the center.
You need your own transport to get you to the center. This however is not a discouragement as I always rent a car and in 4 minutes you arrive a Trapani center.
Beach access was great. The resort was well kept and unique. Staff was outstanding.
Beach access was only til early evening.
The hotel next door is where all the food, pool and action is! The staff their are great and want to ensure you have a good time and a seat near the pool. Entertainment is great to during summer!
Mulini room were tiny and dark, no real facilities. You pay a lot of money to actually go next door and use the facilities!! Do not bother book the resort next door!!
Quiet location, not too large, friendly, historical facility, just few guests. Private beach with sun beds and umbrellas.
A lot of seaweed and see plants were stranded twice during two weeks on the beach and not removed. They just waited until the sea solved it.
Everything. The rooms were comfortable, clean, plenty of space, nice sea view. Breakfast. The beach in summer. 20min drive to Erice.
Not able to do a phone call from my room, had to go down to reception desk. A little far away from restaurants, but not a problem if you have a car. Don´t go to the restaurant from the hotel next door.
Nice quiet place. Easy to get to Trapini by bus and taxi. Everyone very polite
When we came to pay bill on leaving they had added 25 euros tax. We had paid for inclusive stay and their was no mention of this tax. We have paid it but will seek to claim it back off booking. Com. It was an unpleasant experience and should not have been a shock to us. The tax could have been a lot higher and we were not made aware of this. This let booking. Com down.
location, interesting location and building style, friendly reception
apartment should be served glasses to use a bar
privilege position in beautiful settings and gardens , peaceful ...
Some guests seem to smoke in the rooms
We stayed here in 2007 and it is still unspoilt, not your usual tourist hotel. The staff are happy, yes happy and pleased to help where they can.We are planning to go back October or next May as the weather was delightful that time of year. Trapani has been cleaned up a lot and is a very interesting destination.
