Very nice and stylish room with a big terrace. A lot of space. Quiet. Friendly atmosphere. Just 3 minutes from the city walls. Owner didn't accept my credit card although I never had problem with it. She didn't want to call local authority to resolve the problem, but rather insisted on payment in the cache. |

Location just outside city walls with free on street parking yet within easy walking distance of Lucca historical centre. Very friendly, helpful owners. Free internet access and laptop in bedroom was an unexpected bonus. Our room was a little on the small side and did not have terrace or balcony as most other rooms seemed to have. |

We recently stayed at Rest in Lucca in a triple/quad room. It was very comfortable and roomy and we loved all the paintings and decorations in our rooms - 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. We also loved having our own computer with internet access - a real luxury and a welcome change from internet cafes. The only problem was that there was only a tiny little fridge which only held a few cans - it would have been good to have a bar size fridge. We could have used the main fridge but we were in the house accross the road so not as convenient. |

The staff were wonderfully friendly and could not do enough for us, telling us where to visit, which buses to take, where to eat and the best shops to visit. The breakfasts were excellent with a wide range and fresh mouth-watering pastries every morning. The house is situated 5 minutes walk from the city walls and the bus station. |

Its close proximity to the old city of Lucca was ideal for walking and leaving our car parked. The staff was also very helpful. The free use of a computer and wi-fi availability was an added bonus. |

Good for family stay, easy access on foot to walled city, very gracious hostess. Computer with internet access provided was a plus! Bed not the most comfortable. |

Staff very pleasant and helpful. Good recommendations for dining in Lucca and helpful advise as to day trips in the area. Pleasant kitchen area and food selection was good. Our bed was not the most comfortable but adequate. |

The owner of Rest In Lucca is warm and very friendly. She even offered our daughter, who is studing in Florence, her contact information if she ever needs any assistance. The rooms were large and very clean. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast when visiting Lucca. |

Easy to get by car. We got family room (actually 2 rooms) which was large & very comfortable. Had computer with internet in the room. Walking to the old town in 3 minutes. Very quite. There is not much parking space. We found in the street but might be a problem. |

Owners were extremely helpful and friendly. Lots of unexpected extras - eg free laptop in each room, dvd player etc The house backed on to a college, which would have been noisy if we were not there over Easter! |
