Metro en buses close to hotel. On arrival we did not have the rooms that were booked but the friendly lady at the reception made a whole rearrangement of rooms.
A lot of noise at night! Located in entertainment district, young people shouting and singing till morning, broken glass on the sidewalk.
The amount of facilities in the room - washer, stove, fridge, plates/cutlery, tv, etc. provided incredible value for the €36 price/night. 13 minute walk from metro station, but feeder buses nearby.
Location for local night life ....and close to public trans
- great staff - kitchenette
- noisy rooms (windows have trouble closing)
Location, reception staff, room was confortable
Street noise, general tiredness of the property, lousy breakfast in caffe La Moderna
Wifi worked properly The location is rather ok in the lively Testaccio area. Comfortable bed. Nice Italian style breakfast at a restaurant below the hotel.
The elevator was several times "out of order" so bringing the luggade just one floor up was a "nightmare". The room door is very thin - some party animals arrived late in the night and kept noise in the hallway so I woke up. Somewhat expensive to what you get. The balcony/terrace door did not open.
Very Clean and big..
No Mini bar inside, no coffees, no snacks, no room service. Its seems like self service and jst 1 reception so if you want some glasses the reception will give it to you instead of another employee
The rooms are clean, quiet, and well equipped. However, the walls are empty and no paintings or frames on the wall. It gives the room a cold and unwelcoming feeling. They could put some art on the walls to significantly upgrade the rooms look & feel. We slept very good as the AC was at the right temperature, the shutters blocked the early morning sunlight (and I was not snoring so my wife didn't wake me up). A++ Although a little far from the touristic center we found: (A) some five fascinating sites in just 1KM radius. (B) convenient public transportation not too far from the hotel (C) good restaurants down the street (but not the one where you get your breakfast…see below). The staff was great. We got info for every question we asked (not so many questions but the point is that the answers were detailed and very helpful). We arrived early but received a clean room with no problems. We were provided with a map, lots of info and a tour book (yea, we put it back after that day, don't worry ;)
The breakfast was a disappointment. You get a voucher for the café downstairs and there you get: 120ml of a soft drink (no refill), 15ml coffee (no refill), a croissant (was good), 4 slices of yesterday's bread (called "toast" for some reasons), and 4 mini-packs of jam (one was opened and partially used!). Hey guys, for this $$ you could arrange a far better deal! The location of this hotel is a little far from the touristic center, walking distance to public transportation. but need to take the time to get the center.
location off the beaten tracks in a very lively area with lots of bars and restaurants, mainly frequented by locals. Walking distance to Trastevere and Aventine hill
Hotel maintenance is a bit poor, stayed there 2 years ago, room conditions somehow worsened ... WiFi poor
patio, nightlife nearby
wifi not covering the patio
Rooms were large and clean and personnel was friendly.
Very and modern big room and bathroom. The local market is next door, many options for dining in the neighbourhood. 10 min walk from Piramide Metro station.
The staffs were really helpful.
They were not changing bed sheets .
Staffs were really helpful. Specious, neat and clean interior.
The bed cover was not even changed once in my 7 nights stay...
Quiet part of town, new facilities
No tea and coffee making facilities in the room
The location of hotel is fine. You can reach there by metro (Piramide Statioin) or bus easily. It's close to Termini. Staff is very helpful. You can walk to historic city center in 25-30 minutes along to Trastevere. Nice place.
Breakfast is a disappointment. Only croissant, jam and coffee. Also if you're staying next to main road, the noise coming from nearby restaurant or nightclubs may disturb you.
Clean, modern style room with terrace. Helpful staff with very good English.
It was close to pyramide station. And thats about it. Would not stay here again.
Breakfast was not very great! Just one drink and one croissant. Really? The staff didn't clean our room. Didn't even clear out the garbage. With a toddler than was really hard as babies have dirty diapers! The room was really dirty. I didn't feel like walking barefoot. There was no cutlery in the kitchen! I mean whats the point of giving us a stove and a basin if there are pots or pans?!?! The room was a disappointment. And it got really hot at night but they still hadn't turned on their cooling system so we would sweat a lot during the night time. When we complained they said it was COLD outside. WHich it wasn't! Also, the shower of our room (22) was broken so water leaked everywhere in the toilet! And we couldn't leave the window open as flies were everywhere! WE couldn't even close the window because it was jammed! I am telling you, this hotel was a mistake.
Hotel is in area 'Testaccio', which is away from touristic centre, but beautiful historical and residential part. Only 10min. by bus to centre (pl. Venezia or Vatikan). There are many original restaurants and bars, where many local people come to eat.
It is very noisy over night, because of restaurants and bars. Rooms to street is not recommended.
Restaurants were close by.
Slow Wi Fi, a couple of staff were rude and the breakfast was very basic from the restaurant down stairs.
It was amazing! Me and 3 other guys went to rome for 4 days and the hotel was one of the best bits, we had a pretty large balcony, everything was clean and the staff were very helpful! The nearest metro station is about a 7 minute walk and is literally 2 stops away from the Collesum.
Good sized room
Decor a bit tired, not comfortable walking alone at night in the area
The breakfast, location and service was excellent.
The location was good not far from the metro station.
The hotel was noisy especially at night, the breakfast was small, very sweet and similar every day.
