Hotel Rex    

Good location by the sea with a private beach, a beachbar and great view over the sea. We stayed here off season, so just a few people on the beach - good for us.

Room was dirty in the corners and on the balcony. Web hanging from the bathroom door opening.

after a long ferry trip ending in Livorno, an ideal place to stay. Did not expect much was surprised by a very friendly staff and a really nice location

Location, unique

The rooms have nice views of the sea but it's not a wide view and the area the hotel is located at is isolated, but if you have a car you can drive to restaurants. The breakfast was good and the rooms were clean.

The A/C was not very effective and we could not open the windows to let air in, only the door to the balcony, so the room was a bit too hot for us. The wireless in the room was marginal and the shower head leaked and needed maintenance.

The beach. the beach was absolutely empty, they did not allow us to have the umbrella (just in the very end of the beach) because part of them are bought for the season, the second part of the umbrellas was preoccupied from the morning.

the hotelroom was realy dirrty. Bad breakfast.almost all chairs at the beach were reservated, but there were almost no people.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff were very good. This is an older hotel, that's true. It could use some updating, But we found the view spectacular from the balcony. We thought it was good value for the money and enjoyed our 4 night stay.

The buffet breakfast could use more choices and was a little skimpy.

Will check re credit card charges as thought was done already by booking.com. Was told was only a reservation confirmation.

Being next to the beach is the only advantage! Which is not a big deal, that you can find in all resort hotels!

Poor breakfast, interesting rules about umbrellas and beach chairs! I was in the high season there and they gave us a very noisy room next to the air conditioning facility (old fusion very noisy) they helped us about the air conditioning in 2 days! (so slow) Almost no English speaking hotel staff and the neighbourhood is empty nothing to do. Poor activities and entertainment. You can find 10 times better service in Turkey with less price and higher society guests. This list can go longer, I just dont recommend you to choose Rex.

It was the perfect spot to spend the day and night prior to early ferry next day. Ferry is 10 minutes away. Hotel is just outside of town with perfect setting on beach and good value for money.

The view, the location

The views are excellent as is the tranquility.

The floor felt a little dirty or dusty and not comfortable to walk. The air conditioner in our room didn't work and with the hot sun setting in the evening it was badly needed.

The location on the sea, the view and balcony overlooking the sea, the fresh feeling of the hotel decor, the cleanliness of the hotel and rooms, the ease of arrival(getting to the hotel), the bagni services, the free internet service, the mini bar, the roof top bar, the morning breakfast service, the small library on each floor, the size of the room, the friendly staff.

heard chairs scrapping and noise from the floor above my room, 210. A dining room was housed up there and it was annoying to hear that at certain hours of night and day.

The Hotel itself reflects the sixties even if some development have already been applied, further actions are highly welcome. We liked most the view from the breakfast terrace... Location is perfect. Rooms are big and clean. Breakfast was always the same but with good quality

First time in my life I faced with such unfriendly and rude staff. Beach- guy made pregnant woman to go vie sea to the coast instead of putting existing bridge for her!!! No explanation re beach usage rules was given! Basicly it spoiled the whole stay in this hotel :(

We were very surprised of nature near hotel Rex. There are rich underwater world. This hotel is a nice place.

We enjoyed being on the ocean, being able to go for a swim anytime during the day with very comfortable surrounds. All the staff were most helpful & very friendly. We have enjoyed our stay in Italy. We would return to stay at the Rex Hotel in the future.

Need a throughout renovation. The 60s called and they want their hotel back...

It is directly at the seaside with its own beach. Free umbrella and lounge chair, direct steps from the deck into the sea. Comfortable room with seaview from balcony, nice modern bathroom. It is a pleasure to stay at this hotel.
