The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. They allowed use to keep our room as we had a late flight and also provided us with a free calendar and ceramic plaque of Lucca. |

The location was excellent, 5 mins walk into centre of Lucca. Parking was allocated right outside the hotel. The hotel is quite noisy, although we were allocated a "quiet" room there was traffic noise all night. |

Very friendly family owned,The owner is in his 90's and always greets you. Great location, next to train and to an entrance to the Centre of Lucca. It is next to the train but you never hear it. |

The staff are always extra friendly, and give me a warm welcome. Also the variety of foods at the breakfast was excellent including boiled eggs and cold meats and cheese, as well as the usual pastries and cereal. I also love the using the European linen bath sheets instead of big bulky towels. Everything was spic and span, including the bathroom, but the showers could look a little cleaner. Some bleach and a toothbrush on the grouting would do the job. I am sure they are clean, just a little old and tired looking in the crevices. |

The continental buffet breakfast was one of the best I have had. Often you only get bread/pastry products, but this buffet had cold meats, boiled eggs, cereals and fruit, and gluten-free cereal and crackers. Excellent! |
