We loved our stay at Hotel Rex, excellent location, close to Termini railway station. We walked to most of the tourist highlights, and found many extra highlights along the way. Breakfast satisfactory, great cappuccino. Room very comfortable, a little expensive for this quality hotel. Free Internet access. Front desk - excellent. I would stay again. 1 lift didnt work, but this happens from time to time, no problem.

The staff were excellent and the location amazing. The breakfast was really good. The fridge did not work. Our room in general was run down. Poor functioning shower. The air conditioning also did not work correctly.

Awesome hotel and good staff. Just one thing, the door needs to be sound proof.

The staff was there to answer any and all questions. The facilities were outstanding and well worth the cost. The location was great and with the map provided most attractions were within walking distance. I would heartily recommend the Hotel Rex to anyone visiting Rome.

friendly staff, clean room, location (close to central train and bus station) 1. Hotel room is small. 2. It seems that there is no supermarket in the hotel area. I had to pay 3 euros to buy a small bottle of water from a street retailer.

The staff is superior. They made the stay at the Rex bearable. They were courteous and went out of their way to accomodate your needs. The included continental breakfasst was great. It was more than expected. The hotel was rated 4 star. In my opinion it was over rated. I felt I paid much too much for this hotel. The rooms were small and furnished with outdated furnishings. The rugs were not very clean and the drapery could not be opened. The closet could not be used because the door was falling off the hinges. I was not happy with the price I paid for these accomodations. It should not be rated more than a 2 star hotel, athough the reception area was remodeled and comfortable

We got a photocopy of the front page of our national newspaper under our door each morning, very nice touch. The staff were very helpful and booked some tours for us and also recommended places to eat. If you are tired of touring around there is a playstation in the room and a considerable selection of dvds that you can select from however as we were in Rome for just 4 days we didn't even turn on the TV :)

Tidy nice hotel in Rome's very center. Good parking facilities: you can use private parking near the hotel or leave the car on the street - in this case hotel gives you a special permission. Clean and rather big room with well-equipped bathroom with a full-size bath. Personnel is very helpful and speak good english. The give you a good citymap at arrival and show the hotel, main attractions and transportation rootes on it. Really good breakfast with a wide selection of meals. Funny additional payments even for the teabags in the room. Rooms and bathroom are in a need of slight renovation.

The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. One small complaint about the bed's being too soft was immediately rectified by putting a board under the mattress. Breakfast was excellent and, again, the servers were very pleasant and obliging. WiFi was available at no charge in the room and worked well. The rooms were clean and very attractively decorated but the walls, etc were in need of some repair and paint. A small upgrade in this respect would add another star to the hotel's classification.

Kindness of the staff, free wifi comfortable room Breakfast room and breakfast choice, the fact that the kettle kit is not included in the room price, it is not at all a matter of money since it is only 1.50 euro but it is written nowhere that it is not included and on the bag there is written "just for you" as on the biscuits, making guests think that it is for free. And I think that a 4 stars hotel can allow to offer a cup of tea to his guests... We were very happy with the hotel till when they asked for the kettle kit when we left...it left us with really a bad taste of the hotel at the end of our staying... And this only to gain 1.50 euro...

Staff is very nice. Facilities and breakfast are ok, although they don't seem a 4 star hotel, except for the tv, that has a lot of channels and if you have kids, you have a ps2 in your bedroom. The location is good, near sybway, near sightseeing buses, near train. If you wake up early in the morning and you are the first one using hot water, you might need to wait 10 minutes to have it. The breakfast could have more variety of bread and some other things.
