Hotel Rex is set in an aristocratic building from the early 20thcentury, in the heart of the city, between the majestic Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and the famous Opera House.

The establishment is at a short distance from the major landmarks including: Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Via Veneto. The elegance of the building and the special care in the furnishing create a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere.

Back from your excursions you can enjoy the delights offered at the Rexbar or enjoy the tranquillity of the Crystal Room, with books and magazines available for you. In the meantime your children can play games, read or draw in the children area.

We stayed there for three nights great room and excellent breakfast. Very close to the Termini Station is definetly a plus. Will recomend to anyone.

One of the male receptionists was very helpful and always friendly.

The breakfast was just a continental as fry was always gone straight away & never refilled. There was a technical problem with the fire alarm which went off at 4am. At checkout the next day we received no apology and they still hadn't got someone out to fix it. Luckily it only went off at 4am, 4:30am and 8am!

Flavia (guest services) was wonderful and incredibly helpful.

The hotel alarm went off five times during our final night. It would have been nice to be compensated for our inconvenience (even with an apology the following morning).

Good location, room was a good size (although this seems to vary from speaking to other guests).

No restaurant if you arrive late and don't want to go out. Bar was always empty.

The lady at receprion was wonderful. So helpful and friendly.

Location, helpful staff, free DVD and play-station for kids, availability of travel guides etc in reading room. Good breakfast

Corridor was scruffy could do with a new carpet and a touch of paint, room was fine and clean. Breakfast room a bit tight.

No irons or ironing boards and the room temperature was warmer than we Americans are used to.

the hotel was wonderful, great for kids. they have playstations and movies in all languages. rooms are great, nice size for european hotels. great location, close to the Termini station, 3 restaurants and ice cream parlor right around the corner. Opera house very close. Coliseum and other main attractions within walking distance, ATM right across the street. Nothing but positive things.

the wireless did not work during our stay

Good breakfast with front page of home newspaper given to you at your
table. Hotel within walking distance to all attractions and metro.
Helpful staff. Maps of city always available. Good provisions for
children, ie playstations etc.

It's a great hotel, much more than I expected for the price I payed. We asked for a room with a single and a double bed and had two doubles, which was great. the staff was very nice, they recomended a very nice cantina italiana nearby and everynight when we arrived in the rooms we found cookies and a card saying good night, very cute. the location is very convinient, 10 minuts from termini station
