No bar and no tea / coffe in room.
even I check out at 6am they took the breakfast cost
A warm welcome and very informative reception staff. The room was exactly as booked i.e. overlooking the Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge..what more could you want. The room was reasonable, but heh unless you are on honeymoon, you don't spend time in the bedroom when in Venice. It rained during our stay and we even had umbrellas provided. The Hotel is perfect for exploring Venice and yes it was a bit noisy being on the Canal early morning but it was just fantastic to open the windows and watch the day begin each morning in Venice...What a pleasure.
Nothing...We were joining a cruise ship and there for two nights....It really made our holiday
No bar; no price list with mini bar which turned out to be very, very expensive items
We loved every minute of our stay here, upon arrival the staff where great & we were even upgraded to a canal view room! The reception staff had maps ready for us & gave us so much indormation on where to eat & how far we were from all the attractions! It is a perfect place to stay for a short trip to Venice as you are so close to everything! Wifi is very slow but hey you're on holidays so it was no biggy for us!
Every thing was ok Water bus station in front of the hotel which was in the middle of the city and close to evrey thing
We stayed in room 118, located on the first level. The window of this room led to a small interior yard in which a large generator was place exactly next to the window. The noise was so loud that we couldn't sleep all night. It's a pity as we had stayed in this hotel before and never had any problems. untill today no feedback from the hotel!!
Location just amazing, we had a room with view to Rialto bridge, perfect! Room was very stylish, clean and warm.
Everything was good.
Location was excellent. Being next to the Rialto is really handy for finding your hotel (important issue in Venice... Especially after a few vinos). Rooms we very generous and the view was incredible over looking the grand canal. Authentic Venice building layout. Breakfast was also good with friendly staff and once I communicated I was GF, the staff brought out a special GF care basket just for me.
The only issue was no wifi in the room but wifi in lobby was ok. I think if you were there as a couple not for business, you would be too busy doing the business to notice.
Perfect central location Convenient from & to airport Quiet Kind staff
Location was the best one stop on the water bus from the Train station. 5-10 minutes walk to ST Marks Square. We were celebrating our Anniversary and were pleasantly surprised with a bottle of Champagne as we were settling in after our arrival Around the Rialto Bridge is a hive of activity and is great spot to sit and people watch while enjoying a cold beer or some great food. We were fortunate enough to have canal view from our room.
Nothing comes to mind unless you were a light sleeper I suggest you don't get a room on the Canal side as activity doesn't stop and you get a bit of noise
The location of this hotel is absolutely spot on, had a junior suite with a picture perfect view of the Rialto Bridge and Grand Canal. The staff were welcoming and friendly, always around for help and provided us with a map which saved us getting too lost! Would definitely stay here again.
Wifi is a little slow but didn't affect my holiday experience at all.
Only the location deserves four stars. The breakfast was decent.
This was the worst hotel room we stayed over two weeks of trip to Italy, and the most expensive room we paid. The room was nothing like the one in the picture they advertised- it was small, low ceiling, window opens to a slum dwelling and the air smells. Also, the shower was so small. If I stay in Italy longer and gain a few pounds, then I would not be able to get in. For $250 USD per night, I was misled.
I traveled with my elderly Mother and she LOVED this hotel so much that she wants to come back soon! The location is absolutely incredible! The bathroom is modern and to me that's very important. I would recommend this hotel to anybody who loves Venice! Ciao
The bellhop was a bit rude and didn't even smile or make eye contact. Once he was clearly standing at the lobby door to open it...but as we approach. .he simply walked away without hesitation.
Hotel Rialto is perfectly located. Staff was most helpful and friendly, clean rooms and an excellent breakfast. A must visit and on Venice's gems!!!
Great location: few steps away from Rialto bridge, close to the Vaporetto station, lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Impossible to find a better location in Venice. We had a junior suite with a view over Grand Canale, for those who will not get this, at 1st floor there is a panoramic terrace with excellent view over Grand Canale and Rialto bridge, Furniture in the room is old and classic venetian. With a little restauration would look fabulous, anyway it is good taste a very comfortable. Breakfast was also good quality, best omlet I have ever had + enough to choose from. Enjoy!
Bathroom needs a little more work. Everything was functional, but compared with the actual room it looks like a 1*-2* bathroom...There is lot of place for improvements.
This is the 6th time we have been to this hotel and it's perfect in every way I.e. Location, staff, cleanliness and value for money.
The location was great. At the Vaporetto Stop. Lots to do in the area and short walk to St Mark's Square.
Our room was way far in the back on a side area that had a walk way that was lite up all night. The room was hot and stuffy so we had to open the window and then you could hear people talking all night.
Ideal location, walking distance to the main touristic places and boat station, friendly and multilingual staff.
Many stairs and confusing hall ways.
Sunset over the Grand Canal, pay extra for canal view
Noise of water buses and commercial boats at night, but worth putting up with
Pillows where poor quality
Location was fantastic. Central to everywhere. Nice big room with fantastic views of the canal and Rialto bridge.
Wi-fi was very poor. Expect better when I paid so much. Also the cost is slightly excessive for what you do get but that should be expected considering the prestige location.
