Right by the Rialto Bridge and, if you get a canal view room, great views. Even if you don't, there's a small terrace where you could smuggle up a bottle of wine and watch the sun go down.
The bedroom decor was faded grandeur, but the bathroom was just old. The breakfast was plentiful but not of a high standard.
the furnishings were a bit old and shabby.. not a standard you would expect
Excellent location and helpful staff in the front desk.
Nice hotel. Great location.
Rude front desk staff!
the close ness to everything ie. walking distance to st. marco square the gondolas the water bus and taxi stops and was a great place to stay also close to out door restaurants across the famous bridge. we enjoyed the stay.
there was not anything that we did not like.
Great location right in the heart of the action. Loved the terrace view of the Grand Canal.
The last flight of stairs to our room was often a challenge after a day of walking, but these old Venetian buildings are like that.
Our room was perfect balcony overlooking the rialto bridge
AREA, SERVICE, LOCATION, SPACIOUS ROOM, VIEW.
POOR WIFI CONNECTION IN ROOM.
Great location for rialto area Good choice at breakfast
Very noisy and unable to sleep due to barges unloading throughout night
location is perfect.
staff is not friendly.
bathroom size furniture "kitsch" style walking long and winding corridors to arrive to the room ...
Good hospitality and the staff in the front desk is very helpful.
Excellent location right next to Rialto Bridge and near vaporetto station. Very convinient if traveling with lots of luggage. Nice an cosy hotel, we had good rest in peaceful atmosphere after busy streets of Venice. We loved having breakfast outside with look at the bridge and in the evening on the terrace right above the very busy Grand Canal.
Air in the room gets staled and wi fi was poor in the room. Everything else was excellent an in real Venetian style.
Easy to find. Boat-stop outside. Pride of the location. Staf is excellent (Good trained, friendly, welcoming) Nice terrasse abou the street Good restaurant
The shower in our room was smal.
Room good size Great location next to Rialto Bridge Nice breakfast Very professional staff and good service
The location is superb (and in a city, which you are not that familiar with, this does matter). The view to the canal is lovely and although the hotel is a bit "old", the airco worked well there. And the great, helpful staff makes the final polishing on the experience.
The room was not too big and wifi could have been faster, but both were still well acceptable.
Excellent location and friendly and helpfull stuff
Poor choice of breakfast
Location right next to Rialto bridge easy to find
Bed a little hard only 1 pillow
Excellent service and friendliness during high season when it seems most people working in the service industry are simply lacking in patience and even courtesy. The staff, regardless of position, always have a friendly smile and are more than helpful. Our room was absolutely fit for royalty as well!
Two things I didn't like 1)The shower in our room didn't drain particularly well. 2) I actually had to leave!
Watching gondola, water taxi, cargo boat going by was fun. I enjoyed watching People passing from our gran canal view window.
Perfect location-perfect rooms-perfect and very kind staff!
Location was great. But need to improve the Wi Fi. Room is clean but dark.
Need some update on the bathroom and it too dark inside.
The best location in Venice right at Rialto Bridge. Was a bit worried about the noise but shutters on windows and double glazed so no problems at all. If you can afford it get a room with a canal view, was just amazing. Fridge in room was a bonus.
The view of the bridge was once in a lifetime! Breakfast outside was so nice. We had a mini fridge which is essential with a baby. The reception recommended a great restaurant Trattoria alla Madonna.
We had a small child with us and they put us in a room where we got off an elevator then had to take ten stairs up and ten stairs back down to our room. It was a lot of extra work for us and we had to leave her stroller in the lobby.
With vaporetto stops out front as well as waiting gondolas, fab gelato downstairs, a short walk to the main square and church ----We couldn't have asked for a better location. We had a gorgeous deluxe room overlooking the grand canal and lovely Rialto bridge. There were numerous reports online of these rooms being noisy but I'm happy to report this was NOT the case at all. Super helpful and friendly staff. Would def recommend to anyone staying in Venice.
Perhaps the wifi could be a little faster ? But hey it was exactly the same at all of our other Italian hotels so not really a big issue. Pity the breakkie room doesn't have a view over the canal. It's on bottom level.
