Rifugium

La posizione del rifugium è davvero invidiabile. Interessante la cantina con una buona selezione di vini. Ambiente accogliente e rilassante. Adatto anche per i bambini. Come per tutte le cose belle bisogna fare un po' di fatica per raggiungerlo, ma ne vale la pena. Grazie a Francesco per la sua disponibilità, simpatia e condivisione "enologica".

Il monolocale è graziosissimo, caldo ed estremamente pulito, la posizione è splendida.

La cucinina nella credenza è decisamente sfornita, forse troppo per chi arriva dopo un lungo viaggio e si trova subito costretto a scendere fino al paese, sperando di trovare negozi aperti, anche per una bustina di the o un cucchiaino di zucchero (e la strada è strettissima, è abbastanza lunga e in buona parte sterrata); se poi aggiungessero un paio di stoviglie, che sono proprio contate, sarebbe più confortevole.

Location is fantastic, top of the mountain, beautiful scenery. Prefect place to relax. The owner Daniele is really helpful and friendly! Definitely will come back.

The facilities and decoration in our flat is quite basic, but the whole house is filled with characters.

It is a fantastic place

This is a lovely property, has been renovated and the rooms are very pretty and well set up. Great property if you want to get away from it all. We would love to go back, especially when the weather is warmer to make use of the pool. However in saying that our children swam even though it was freezing.

There was not really anything we didn't like. It is quite a long way from Greve, and the roads are very narrow so provided you don't have a big car it's fine.

The place is remote, quiet, with a beautiful view. Very very nice restoration work of the building, the rooms are very comfortable, an furnished with taste. A plus is to have a private kitchen to cook your own breakfasts and meals. The hotel staff is very nice, courteous and helpfull ; as a previous comment stated, we arrived late and they helped us with a pasta/wine/ham.

Even if the staff is very nice, they are not always here when you need them... The place is remote, up a steap hill : the difficulty of access makes it a place from where you don't come and go 3 times a day.

An isolated retreat overlooking the natural beauty of the mountains & the green backdrop

The location & the distance from the nearest City, Greve. It is exactly 9.1 KM from the city & takes 20 minutes through the mountains to reach the City, Greve. I will most certainly not chose to stay there in future.

It is quite a drive to get to Rifugium, but well worth it. The view is breathtaking and the building itself is amazing. It was built in the 17th Century yet has modern ammenites like a great kitchen in the suite and automatic lights in the bathroom - which really help because it so dark at night! It was too cold to go for a swim but the infinity pool looked awesome. Daniel, the owner, is fantastic. We would recommend this place to anyone!

Coming from Australia I did not know what to expect of Tuscany or the Chianti Region but I would have to say during our 2 week trip in Italy - this region and farm stay was by far my favourite. Daniel the owners son welcomed us as we arrived. We did not bring any food or drinks and were offered a packet of pasta, sauce, wine and water to keep us going until we stocked up the following day. This was by far my favourite meal in Italy. I loved drinking my coffee on the balcony in the mornings, and local wine on the balcony in the evenings. The accommodation is very intimate and personsal so you get to know all the other families staying on the poperty. It is in a great location to explore, Pisa, Florence, Sienna and all other Tuscan regions. The pool is amazing and the views are spectacular.

The breakfast is average (traditional continental) however I would recommend it as least once as you get to meet all the other families staying on the property.

een uitstekend omgebouwde boerderij. Een zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaar. Rust en toch middenin het Chianti-gebied. Mooie uitvalsbasis. Een zeer kwalitatief goed restaurant op 3 minuten afstand.

De boiler heeft een wat kleine capaciteit voor 3 personen. Op de TomTom is het adres niet te vinden, maar wel met de coördinaten.

Superbe vue sur la campagne toscane. Lieu très paisible situé au bout d'un petit chemin de terre à 700m d'altitude. Appartements avec cuisine intérieure et terrasse privative. Très agréable pour l'apéritif du soir et le petit déjeuner au soleil... Acceuil très chaleureux de Daniele.

Une vue fantastique sur les belles collines Toscanes. Un lieu unique loin de tout qui inspire le repos, la détente, la "zénitude". Possibilité de faire la cuisine dans l'appartement. Amoureux des vieilles pierres et de la tranquillité, vous avez trouvé votre endroit.

Après la route goudronnée, l'accès final se fait par un chemin caillouteux et pentu. Cela vaut la peine malgré tout.

Zeer hartelijke ontvangst door Paolo. Mooie en zeer rustige lokatie, goed onderhouden en schoon appartement, prachtig zwembad met whirlpool. Prachtig uitzicht.

(Te) ver van de bewoonde wereld. 8 km via smalle weggetjes en op het laatst via zand, grind en stenen pad. Na 20u vertrekt het personeel en ben je op jezelf en de medegasten aangewezen.

Le calme, la nature, la vue, le charme d'un intérieur toscan ancien, la bonne literie, le jacuzzi (quoiqu'un peu frais), la gentillesse de Paolo (dommage qu'il ne parle qu'italien)

Manque d'équipement de cuisine : pas de poele, pas de cafetière, pas de passoire, pas de louche, 2 bols pour 4 , pas de four ni micro- onde, et le frigo qui ne marchait pas. L'équipement est minimum, il vaut mieux le savoir quand on est éloigné de tout et ne pas prévoir de cuisiner.

Vue incroyable sur les collines du Chianti (700 m d'altitude). Les appartements sont très confortables avec kitchenette. Rifugium est le paradis des enfants : animaux (2 chevaux et 2 chèvres), cachettes, petits chemins un peu partout, jeux extérieurs (balançoires, toboggans,...) et piscine en saison.

Nous y sommes allés fin Octobre et tous les équipements n'étaient pas disponibles (piscine non chauffée, spa pas en service lorsque nous sommes arrivés). Et le B&B se trouve tout en haut d'une petite montagne donc l'accès est un peu difficile et il faut compter facilement 15 minutes pour arriver à Greve.

Die Lage ist sehr abgeschieden, am Ende des Weges nur über Feldweg erreichbar. Dafür mit herrlichem Blick über die Chiantiberge. Sehr schöner Pool. Die Apt. sind mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Das Bett war groß mit guter Matraze. Die Küche ist sehr klein (Apt Polpetto). 2 E- Herdplatten. Es gibt nur eine kleine Espressomaschiene für 2 Espressi. Man muss ständig nachkochen.Küchenausstattung sehr basic. Preis/Leistung im Sept. ist o.k. Wir würden wieder hinfahren, wg der Lage und der sehr schönen Zimmer.

Stedet var fantastiskt beliggende flott utsikt . Det ligger en restaurant 3 km unna som heter La Mole som må oppleves. Så er det den lille byen Greve med små butikker og koselige restauranter.

De tok passet vårt som vi glemte og få tilbake ved avreise så de skulle sende de til Roma , men de rakk ikke frem så da ble det Ambasade og masse mas for og komme hjem, De burde tatt kopi....

Schön eingerichtetes Appartement mit fantastischer Terrasse und Panoramablick. Gepflegter Poolbereich, schöne Aussenanlage.

Einsame Lage, in gut 20 Fahrminuten über kurvenreiche Straße von Greve in Chianti zu erreichen. Nächstes Restaurant 10 Fahkrminuten entfernt. Keine weitere touristische Infrastruktur in nächster Nähe.

La Tranquillità!!!

Doveva essere un monolocale con angolo cottura, ma invece camera con bagno!!! Forse una parte è stata chiusa a chiave.

Rifugium ligger nära de populära vägarna, byarna och vingårdarna i Chianti; det tar 15 minuter att köra ned till Greve in Chianti. Men det ligger också långt från de trafikerade vägarna, med fantastisk utsikt, vacker pool, charmerande rum och vänlig personal. Det är värt att söka sig uppför de smala och branta vägarna från Casole, inte alls svårt att hitta. Förvånad att inte hitta fler svenskar där, förutom oss var det bara italienare på hotellet. Vi hade lyxen att vara i stort sett ensamma på hotellet ett par av de 6 dagar vi stannade.

Ett parti på cirka 100 meter av grusvägen nära hotellet är både brant uppförsbacke och väldigt gropig.

Phantastische Lage (Aussicht, Ruhe). Rifugium heißt zu Recht so!

Wenn überhaupt: Dusche könnte wärmer und sauberer gewesen sein
