Room was clean, warm.Location is perfect for shopping
no Internet connection on the 4th floor
Location is the best for this money. Friendly staff. Everything is ok. Don't exepect too much and you we'll be satisfied.
Is close to the Duomo.
The hotel is old,old beds, breakfast is poor, listen as the tram to the street.
Great position ,ideal for all main attractions
Was paid when I check in, but when I check out and staff told met haven't pay it so I have to pay it again, incredibly hotel in the world, wifi is not free if you wanna live in Milan, had better don't live in there just in case they let you pay the room fees again
For me smelled like hospital specially in my room was a wired smell
Hotel Rio is well situated just few paces to Pjazza Duomo, underground, buses and trams.
This is a bit aged hotel, but everything works almost perfect. Comfortable. Kind personal. Good value for money. Perfect location. Will stay again.
If wifi was free or at least charged per room and not per unit, it would be perfect
Very close to Duomo. Staff was helpful, especially JIMMI who explained me how to get to certain destinations and suggested to visit Church S. Bernardino a. Ossa.
Perfect position, 50m from Duomo and metropolitana, very clean rooms, good price
The staff is so nice, great location and breakfast
Rooms are so clean.
Wifi should be free.
It's really near to the center, to the Duomo and to the shops.
The bed was really small and it's no possible to connect to devices on the internet at the same time.
Not even 100m from the Duomo. Zara, Benetton, Promod on the 1st corner. 2 Lovely little coffee shops and restaurants across the road. Best location in Milan. Very little street noise. Monica at front desk is lovely...friendly and very helpful.
Showers are tiny... ok for ladies but my husband will def not fit if he traveled with me. Hallways are a bit noisy...floors reflect noise, and do not absorb it.
-The location.. it's right in front of the Duomo, with easy access to bars for breakfast's, quick coffee's and shopping centers like the Galleria..
- Right in the center means lots of traffic and noise.. When I return, I'd look for a place in Brera/Moscova, it's a 7min walk to the Duomo, your away from all the noise and Moscova is where the night lights up.. - I returned from a house party at around 1pm and stayed outside till 1.30 cause the door was closed and the guy was sleeping in the back.. - The rooms are small but wouldn't be that much of a problem if they were priced accordingly, what keeps the value up is, is its positioned in front of the Duomo which is fine but if someone really knew Milano there are much better accommodations for the price and you still get the same experience..
This is a small hotel with fantastic location. You should think of a price you payed and do not expect royal palace. Room is comfortable and clean, has both safety box and fridge, bathroom is with everything one should need, bed is very good. Personal is kind. Breakfast is acceptable as good start of a day, nothing special. One could say it is to loud, but think of a location and you will realize how difficult is to get quite room in the city center that sleeps very little both in weekends and working days. Again, if you want that "bit of a extra", book royal palace instead :) The hotel owner could maybe consider some time soon a bit of renovation as things inside hotel are getting a bit aged. At least painting walls could make big difference. Milano is not a city to stay inside room :)
Pure psychology, if the price of a room gets a bit higher, just a bit, like 3 euro a day, nobody would notice and wifi could be "free". Now with charging 5 euro/24h/device and not absolute perfect connection, people get a bit irritated. Otherwise, nothing to complain about. The price for the room really says what to expect.
location is perfect for tourism, the room was quite spacious for European cities.
All was good
Location close to Domo Church.
Difficult to reach by car. Narrow room. No free wifi, bath room poor water. Breakfast is poor and crowded.
Location 100 m from Cuomo piazza.
Clean, friendly, good breakfast included and a few steps from the Duomo. Fantastic value for money to be in the heart of Milan and close to train station.
Close to metro and Duomo had nice mini patio, huge bathroom.
small elevator but we like the stairs.
I've been to Hotel Rio before that's why I love it & it's very central. I'll be going again in a couple of months with my grand daughter. I'm always in Milan but my grand daughter never.
There is nothing to complain about
GREAT LOCATION! Jimmy, at the front desk, was OUTSTANDING!
Need coffee pot in the room.
The hotel was in a good location, staff friendly especially one younger man who was very helpful. Clean & breakfast was good.
Excellent Location Friendly Staff
