Hotel Rione Antico La Terra  

This place is a perfect introduction to the beautiful city of Ostuni. It is cosy and comfortable, an easy walk to the basilica in the old town. It feels like a family enterprise but is also elegant and stylilsh.

Excellent staff who went out of their way to make our stay extremely pleasurable. A young lady named Fausta was a joy. Warm, friendly and knowledgable who spoke excellent English. The rooms were comfortable and each floor had a balcony area for enjoying the sunset with a glass of wine. Excellent location for walking the city center. The breakfast served at the Restaurant San Pietro, right next door, was excellent, with great staff. The free secure parking area is a short 5 min. Walk from the hotel, with easy access, once you are shown it's location. While staying in Ostuni, be sure to make the 6 km. Trip to the Masseria Il Frantoio for dinner and a tour. It is an amazing experience. The hotel staff made reservations and arranged transportation.

Our only dificulty was finding the Albergo La Terra. The hotel is marked on signage as simply "La Terra" and the gps became confused as it is on a non driving street. No one seemed to recognize the name "Rione Antico La Terra". Find the Piazza Liberta, park and walk to the "Albergo La Terra" reception. They will gladly pick up your luggage and accompany you to the parking area. Also, plan a day trip to nearby Grottaglie, the ceramic "capital" of Puglia. Amazing artisans and craftsmen.

Perfectly located in the centre of the old city of Ostuni. Hotel and room were cool, a welcome relief from the hot weather outside when we were staying. Being located on a quiet, virtually traffic free street, there was no noise to spoil sleep. Street parking is available, but hotel's car park is just a few minutes walk away, (5 Euro per day). The hotel will take you and your luggage to and from their car park. If lost (as we were...) staff will happily find you, and take you to hotel. Staff were pleasant, helpful, friendly, and professional always. Restaurant was closed during our stay, but a number of excellent restaurants and bars nearby. Beaches are just a 10 minute drive away Lots of characterful touches within the hotel I would definitely stay here again

Great central location, quiet room, loads of character. Staff were friendly helpful and the restaurant superb! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Una gran bella sorpresa. L'hotel, situato nel centro città a pochi passi dalla piazza, è stato ristrutturato in stile moderno senza stravolgere le caratteristiche storiche della struttura. Ne esce una commistione di design e storia. Camera e bagno spaziosi. Ottimo il personale, cordiale e preparato. Il parcheggio è disponibile nelle vicinanze, con servizio navetta direttamente all'albergo. Nel complesso un'ottima struttura dove torneremo sicuramente.

Da migliorare la disponibilità del collegamento wi-fi in camera.

Camera e bagno molto ampi e comodi , ottima posizione

L’hôtel est situé dans une charmante ruelle en plein centre, à deux pas de la cathédrale. De la chambre on a une magnifique vue sur les toits. Le petit déjeuner est copieux avec des fruits frais et de délicieux gâteaux et biscuits faits maison. L’hôtel est un véritable labyrinthe avec des terrasses nichées ci et là et c’est un plaisir de le parcourir et de découvrir des pièces joliment restaurées et aménagées et qui ont gardé tout leur cachet.

Dans la chambre, l’espace salle de bain – toilettes n’est pas totalement cloisonné. On entend tout ce qui s’y passe : pudiques s’abstenir! Pour conserver le cachet de la chambre, les fenêtres n’ont pas été parfaitement isolées… on sent donc un petit courant d’air le soir. Il y ale wifi dans l'hôtel: en vaccances, a t-on envie d'être bombardé d'ondes? Le personnel est à l’écoute… pas forcément très avenant. Enfin, la « navette » entre l’hôtel et l’aéroport de Brindisi n’existe pas, rien n’est organisé contrairement à ce qu’indique le site de l’hôtel : il faut prendre un bus jusqu’à Brindisi (10 min) puis un autre bus pendant 50 minutes jusqu’à Ostuni.

Abbiamo soggiornato a La Terra durante le vacanze di Pasqua e ci siamo trovati benissimo! La camera era abbastanza ampia ed accogliente, il bagno era sprovvisto di finestra ma dotato di un ampio box doccia. Molto curata la pulizia. La vista su Ostuni dalle tre finestre della camera davvero impagabile! Ottima la colazione, con vari tipi di torte, una più buona dell'altra, brioches, succhi, yogurt, affettati e uova... Cordiale e sorridente il personale. Ci torneremo!! Eva e Giovanni

La posizione e la cortesia del personale

Unica vera pecca, la non completa separazione del bagno dalla camera. Una parte della parete è in vetro e non chiude completamente quindi, a meno che si sia soli, uno degli ospite può disturbare l'altro con luce e rumore se ha orari differenti o alzate notturne.
