The food was great. Rooms were big and nice, the bathroom was clean and big as well.
Beautiful location, charming, spotless, large room with a view, fabulous restaurant with local specialities, and of course the amazing dolomites.
Nice Staff Great, secluded location
Loved the location, especially to do the walks in the area. Loved the waitress in the restaurant ....many thanks for being particularly helpful.
No bikes to rent.
Wonderful rifugio. Clean and bright. Amazing food.
It would be worth booking just for the breakfast. Rooms very large, custom made local furniture. superbly recently renovated. Friendly owner brothers. My first excellent on all counts.
Views from window - you couldn't see very far because of the snow caped mountains- awesome!
Best location, food, food, food AMAZING, very friendly staff, atmospheric place with history, nice BIG woodden rooms, Ideal place for hiking + via ferrata. Our best place in Italy, going back every one year and will continue forever
Beautiful, spacious rooms. Convenience of having an excellent restaurant downstairs for dinner and breakfast. We chose this location for its proximity to Tre Cime, and away from the hustle of Cortina D'Amprezzo itself. Highly recommended!
Everything! Wonderful location with beautiful view, very romantic place and very good restaurant
Thank you to staff for kindness and help regarding requests for gluten free food. The chef not only provided for food needs but next day came from the kitchen to try to help limited communication in English. The hotel has immediate access to beautiful walks in autumn and comfortable, clean, stylish accomodation. Highly recommended - if you want to get away from the towns.
Main road - but ok with efficient double glazed windows for quiet sleep.
The quality of the renovation work and the attention to detail is all aspects of the accomodation and service.
single beds were small and not the most comfortable i have slept in
Good room and food
A bit of road noise with the window open but fine with it closed
Beautiful room, 4 amazing dinning areas and wonderful meals. This is one of my top stays on seven continents. Super hotel. Worth the drive from town.
Sensational location Excellent restaurant (we were there for four nights and had dinner each evening) Great breakfast Rooms are large and clean Refugio is beautifully renovated Close to some amazing walks
The refugio was extremely busy (we were there in August) and some of the staff seemed stressed and unfriendly at times Rooms fronting the road can be noisy
clean room and service. breakfast was served organic food. it's very nice.
Renovated building is now wonderful, done in a tasteful rustic style. Room spacious and well equipped with a huge bed and wet-room en-suite. Breakfast choice very comprehensive and delicious. Restaurant expensive but well worth it and the best we had on our entire trip. Lovely views.
Beautiful rooms. First-rate restaurant. Beautiful, though somewhat remote, setting.
It was a execellent restaurant ! We enjoyed a lot including a breakfast, too.
It is about 10km far from Coltina, so there are no opition, only this hotel. If you notice this, it would be all right.
Beautiful building. Great restaurant.Friendly staff. Close to Misurina, Cortina and great hiking. In room wi-fi.
The weather! No fault of the hotel, of course.
Welcoming staff and goof service. Excellent food and breakfast. One thing they could improve on is to invest in excellent quality mattresses. The mattress was not comfortable. However, everything else was of a high quality and we really enjoyed our stay there.
Mattress, as above.
Great restaurant Great staff
Very clean and big room. Food is also very nice.
Great location, good view of the mountains. Very friendly staff helping us to choose nice hiking trails. Great breakfast! We also liked the restaurant very much. We would definitely come back if we ever visit Cortina again!
Our family of five stayed Refugio Ospitale in July, 2014 for four nights. Our stay was perfect. The hotel restaurant, which features local specialties, provides a high quality dining experience at a reasonable price. We ate there two of our four nights. The restaurant is certainly worth visiting even if you do not stay at the hotel. Breakfast was excellent too. The brothers that run Rifugio Ospitale and all of the staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The hotel is close enough to downtown Cortina to allow for an easy visit during the evening. If you are looking for a tastefully decorated and very comfortable hotel in the mountains, I would highly recommend Refugio Ospitale.
Dinner was terrific. Breakfast was good. Staff were delightful. Wine list great. Beautiful location, with medieval chapel across the road
the road is a bit busier than we expected, especially in the early morning
