Hotel Ristorante Ponte San Vittorino  

This hotel is well located near Church of Sao Francisco, excellent access. Questo hotel è ben ubicato vicino a Chiesa di Sao Francisco, un ottimo accesso. Este hotel esta bem localizado proximo da Igreja Sao Francisco, excelente acesso.

Very small room, was not very clean. Camera molto piccola, non era molto pulito. Quarto muito pequeno, nao estava bem limpo.

Nice room, good parking.

A small problem with the language - only some personal can speak english.

The hotel is located about 100 meters to the left-hand side of the round-about on the main road that runs parallel to the walls of Assisi. We had a Double room on the 2nd floor that faced a large olive farm and vineyards. The hotel compound had a large parking space and is free of charge. The hotel seemed to be run by a local family and they had maintained the place very well. The room and restaurant looked brand new. We could opt to walk up (about 400-500 meters) to the Basilica of St Francis or drive. We drove and it didn't cost more than EU$ 2.90 for two hours of parking in the covered basement car park during the heat of summer.

The internet doesn't work.

It was close to Assisi but away from the business of the town proper. On site restaurant offered good home cooking. Rooms are well appointed with modern bathroom.

Finding hotel was difficult - signage needs to be improved as it is difficult access. Reception is also not obvious. Very little English spoken so communication was a bit of a problem and made initial contact seem brusque and unwelcoming. Layout of hotel can make it noisy from other guests and the road traffic. Rooms are a little small and although the bathroom is modern, the shower arrangement is not good and leads to more water on the floor than on one's body.

It was difficult with communication.Nobody spoke English there although the owner.That was very inconvenient to take any service there .I thought, if you advertising by English web. I' was expecting just small amount of effort to understanding. And also it wasn't continental breakfast ,it wasn't choice .They gave you on the plate what they have got instead what you wanted.Because it was no communication I'd not recommend this hotel.

Hotel perfetto. Buona la cucina anche se è un po' cara. Da tenere conto che in 5 minuti a piedi si raggiunge Porta San Francesco ma son tutti in salita e esposti al sole. Il personale è gentile e disponibile.

La posizione e la cortesia dei proprietari

Il terzo letto aggiunto nella camera. Troppo sacrificato

La posizione: situato sotto la basilica di S.Francesco, il parcheggio dell'hotel è gratuito e molto comodo alla strada provinciale. Molto buono e genuino il ristorante adiacente all'hotel (dello stesso proprietario). Cortesia, serietà e pulizia nella gestione sia delle camere che del ristorante. Una stradina asfaltata in forte salita parte dall'hotel e permette di raggiungere la Basilica di S.Francesco con 20- 25 minuti di cammino (con fiato e buone gambe). In alternativa, raggiungere il parcheggio "Porta Nuova" con le scale mobili che portano direttamente al centro storico. (Gli altri parcheggi hanno le scale da fare a piedi ed in salita).

Per chi non ha mezzo proprio socmoda e molto ripida la salita per raggiungere la città e la strada circa 200 metri troppo pericolosa per raggiungere l'autobus che porta in centro storico della citàà di Assisi

Posizione favorevole, fuori dal centro ma lungo la via principaòe di accesso alla città.

Personale scarsamente professionale. Prevale l'attenzione ai costi di gestione rispetto al servizio clienti: dispensatori di sapone nel bagno (dei quali uno vuoto), rotolo di carta igienica a metà utilizzo. Non funziona la connessione internet (fra le offerte gratuite).
