We had a first class room over looking the lake with balcony, restaurant excellent also breakfast over all this Hotel is Excellent for the money plus point there is a out door Swimming pool up the road with bar. Regards Adrian. No ban points to report.

Generally a nice place, excellent breakfast. Is a restaurant attached that did decent food. Very close to the lake. Decent place but more just as a stop-over I felt We reserved a "lake view" room and had a partial lake view at best. There are lots of trees in the property / garden which are actually blocking the view. Not a fault of the hotel but just so people know - it is not advised to swim in the lake. We didn't know this.

Very clean hotel. Great location for our overnight stay in Northern Italy and right on the lake. Restaurant very popular with the locals, which is always a good sign. Good Italian fayre.

It was absolutely lovely! I wasn't sure what to expect since I was not familiar with the area, but upon arrival I was very pleased. The hotel is very clean and modern, with a perfect location a few meters from the lake. The room was large with stylish, modern furnishings and a really large and upscale bathroom. The free included breakfast was tasty and had a great selection (much more than just coffee and croisants). I was very happy with Hotel Vecchia Riva :)

Un accueil excellent, un restaurant excellent, à 50 m du lac, des gens vraiment serviables et sympa. Et surtout un très très bon rapport qualité prix, hotel et restaurant. Ils ont des vélos à louer, c'est super pour le tour du lac. Pas grand chose !

Staff molto cordiale, camere confortevoli e veramente pulite, buona la colazione. Peccato non aver provato il ristorante poichè tutto prenotato (evidentemente doveva essere molto buono a giudicare dall'affluenza). Centro di Varese raggiungibile con bus n e fermata a 100 metri dall'hotel. Consigliato!!!
