Super nice place to stay. Clean and cozy. The rooms have a nice atmosphere and typical Tuscan ceiling. You have to feel good! The family which operates the Ristoro is super friendly and helpful. Next to the Bed & Breakfast, there is also an authentic Italian bar, which is also frequented by the ordinary people of the village. And of course a restaurant, where you can have an excellent dinner. The Bistecca Fiorentina is gorgeous! A must try! Like the Bed & Breakfast itself - absolutely high value for your money! I think it's difficult to find something with better value for this price in the area. All in all, an incredibly cozy and quiet place. And a very good base to visit the cities, villages, castles and wineries in the area! Highly recommended! We had a wonderful time and ate and slept wonderfully. We would stay there again tomorrow for sure! To say it in one word - MERAVIGLIOSO! Grazie Mille!
Even though it's a cliche - assolutamente niente!
I was very pleased with my choice of acommodation when I arrived here. As it was in a very small hamlet with very few houses the bar and the shop were all used by the locals. It was a very unusual place to stay, there was a bar, shop, restaurant and B and B. The rooms were very clean and comfortable as was the bathroom. I also had dinner here , and although a limited menu it was very good traditional, home cooked meal. The owners were all very helpful and friendly. I was cycling and spent 2 nights here and toured round the chianti region and I felt it was a much nicer place to stay than the more touristy towns.
In the middle of wine country. Very clean rooms. Great food. Awesome hosts. A real Italian experience with a real Italian family. Look both ways before crossing the street! :-)
All was great!
I went for the wine festival in Panzano which is 5 km away the owner took me in his car out of courtesy very nice lovely family owned place. Good restruant here the grandma cooks the food.they have a store here as well
The bus only drives by once a day. It is not located in the town Radda like address says. Its in a smaller village 8 klm away called Lucarelli
good location if you would like to visit the chianti region by car
hilarious breakfast :bread butter jam a sweet pie with jam and a coffe, which was the only good thing at breakfast
The place is really calm and nice. The room was cleaned daily. The owners were really kind and gave us useful information for our trip in the Chianti region. We also had dinner 3 times there: good food and fast service...the fiorentina steak was really amazing! Highly recommended!
No air conditioning (there is a fan), which for me is usually not necessary. But the last 2 night it was very umid, and the sleep was not so easy.
My cousin and I booked 3 nights at the bed&breakfast last April during our road trip in Italy. Our goal was to stay in the Chianti to be not so far from Florence and Siene and also from the Carpineto winery where we had a visit booked. The place is very nice, calm, the family owner is very welcoming and Valentina speaks a good english! She helped us with good informations to go to Florence, where to park and take the bus, really easy and fast. We had diner at the restaurant the 3 nights and we ate really good food, the house wine is from the winery just beside which is really good, we met the owners of the Monterinaldi winery there and they offered us to come visit the next day. Everyone we met was nice and helpful to us, I highly encourage people to reserve at this place if they want to enjoy the Chianti region, the calm of nature, the family experience and the good location! I wish them all the best for continuity
