This charming, family-run hotel, which dates back to 1800, has been offering warm hospitality in the heart of the historic centre for 40 years.

The hotel is located just a few steps from the most important museums and monuments, and is easily accessible from the boulevards and ring roads surrounding the city.

very warm stuff, non-frmal-home atmosphere, local tips were given, and not bad english

indeed! we got a room fronting to a bussy street on ground floor, without any mensioning before arriving! had trouble sleeping,and staff didn't make any effort to solve the problem(we even asked for ear-plags),except being sorry!walls were dirty,and bed was broken

The staff at the hotel were wonderful - super friendly and anxious to make your stay pleasant. The room was very big, extremely clean, and was comfortable.

Very helpful staff

Noisy due to large crowd of German youth in adjacent area. Bit like a hostel in this respect.

If driving to Florence, the hotel was right off a major street to the city. For me an my family it was great location.

Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful

The room service was a little poor. Although the rooms were well cleaned, they failed to re-supply the toiletteries. If there is a party, it can be a little noisey, but they do not go on late.

It was an old fashioned, family hotel, which reflects the ambience of Florence. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

room was stunning. huge balcony (probably have to ask for it #64)

breakfast was even less than typical Italian. microwaved stale buns to 'refresh' and terrible coffee. very noisy as there is a restaurant (more like a big loud sunroom) backing into the garden where all the rooms are faced. not all rooms have tvs (only 3 do) and none have fans.

Friendly, helpful staff, spoke English fluently.The hotel is a step above a hostel, nothing fancy, but our room was clean, spartan but spacious. Bathroom also was clean, plenty of hot water and good-sized. Location is just 5 blocks from the crowded tourists spots. Breakfast was fine, juice, coffee and toast. A fine restaurant is adjacent to the hotel.
