Score from 161 reviews Very good
Central location, which was within walking distance from shopping and square. Parking charged at 10 euros for our stay 5 days
Location Friendly staff Nice basic breakfast Lovely restaurant attached to the hotel.
Staff helpful and attentive Good breakfast at no extra charge Free Wi-Fi
I don't think there was anything
Lovely room, modern setting and amenities. Great value
Great location. The rooms are large and comfortable. The balcony is lovely. Good breakfast.
It would have been nice to have access to a few more amenities like an iron and a kettle. The staff varied from friendly and helpful to uninterested.
Central location, 10 minutes from the train station; The room is quite good, clear and clean with equiped bathroom. Excellent place (hotel and city). The Wi-Fi is marvelous everywhere. The staff is friendly and attentious to our needs. Would stay there again a thousand times.
friendly staff, easy access to sorrento level with main street, no pool, really expensive to use spa pool for a swim
noise between rooms and hallways tinned fruit salad at breakfast, fresh preferred
This hotel is great - if you like listening to the tv in the next room through thin walls. After staying here one night I had over 30 bites on my arms and legs that would be so itchy over the next week that they would wake me up in my sleep. Not a good staff to my week-long amalfi coast holiday.
Staff were great, very helpful. Location excellent.
Staff great very helpful & informative food in the restaurant was excellent &. Reasonably priced, easy access to the centre of town
The restaurant on top of the hotel
Bedrooms looked into brick walls unlike the pictures displayed by the hotel online. Rooms were dusty and dirty. One of the three rooms we booked had camper matress springs so were uncomfortably soft. Another had drainage smells in the room from the bathroom. Makes one think of a youth hostel trying to be an hotel
Everyone was very friendly and spoke English. They also told us about some events in town that weekend - we ended up going and was amazing. The rooms were nice and clean, big.
A bit noisy at night as you can hear people passing through and outside.
the room was big, very clean, well equipped with a terrace but a little bit old. the view from the hotel is over the golf of naples. the hotel is situated at the end of the city center but the distances are short so do not worry about it. the breakfast was rich but not so tasty.
the parking was a little bit pricey.
Kindly staff, good breakfast. Great location, five minute walk from center, sea-view. Large room and bath (also high).
No pool, the terrace has only short period of sun. But the beach is in walking distance. The lighting in the bath is stupid. Some idiot installed motion controlled switch there without manual override. Always left me in the dark. But during the night, when I did not want light I could not help.
Very elegant for price. Breakfast excellent. Right on edge of downtown, close to action. Clean. Friendly helpful staff. Easy to find.
Parking was extra (per booking agreement), and balcony ocean view was true if you could ignore the neighborhood laundry and parking lot that dominated.
close to main area of Sorrento, 10 minutes railway station which is the best way to get to Pompeii, Herculaneum. Clean, refurbished rooms, good housekeeping, decent breakfast (though coffee out of a machine).
a little noisy with windows open with traffic, and at dawn a cockerel from the next door house. suppose it all adds to the southern Italian atmosphere
We had a great time! Lots of space, super clean, great views and yummy breakfast!
It was warm so we had our windows open, which made it really loud. Some of us had a hard time sleeping
Good location - very easy walk to the port to catch a boat for the island of Capri and also lots of restaurants and shops in the immediate area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast spread was great and the restaurant allowed us to order room service. Also have a gated parking lot for a fee (8 Euro per day)
While the staff were very friendly, they did not give us much information without some prodding.
Location was ok on main street but at one end so fairly quiet away from all the noisy bars
Reception staff were very unhelpfull, especially older male couldn't be bothered to talk to us, looked at us as if we were something on his shoe. Breakfast and resteraunt staff poor
It's an excellent place because it has great room especially the shower! It was neat and clean. The staff was always helpful but we recommend to look for attraction in the city's agencies for more options and better prices.
Common areas were great with terrific views of the Bay of Naples. Food was good and people helpful and cordial. Location allowed for easy walk to center of town and restaurants and shoppes.
No A/C so we had to keep windows open and the Rooster and road noise could be loud at times. View from bedroom was nil, bathroom was a little close with toilet next to shower.
NIce room, friendly staff, tasty breakfast.Location of the hotel is outstanding.Surely be back!
Friendly staff, lockable car park off-road.
Other traffic - they come from everywhere
Comfortable and spacious room with nice bathroom.
Internally the hotel is noisy because of poor soundproofing. The hotel cant do much about the busy traffic sounds and the cockerals crowing!
We had booked this ahead of time as Sorrento was our first overnight stop in mainland Italy having crossed from Messina the night before and travelled round the Amalfi coast by a combination of boat and bus earlier in the day. We arrived in the evening and walked from the main square - about 8 minutes (don't bother with the bus, it's not worth it as the walk is direct and you can familiarise yourself en route anyway). Check in was quick and efficient and the room was a good size with a decent bathroom (nice toiletries). The air con was not the easiest to work out but was fine eventually and there was a reasonable sized balcony on which you could have had a picnic supper if you were so inclined (the small fridge in the room was a good idea, too.) We ended up eating in the restaurant that evening as having walked around the town were in the end, too tired to walk far - and it seemed that there were too many tourists still abroad (a bit of a shock, to be honest, given the week we had had before in Sicily where it was quite easy to escape the tourist throngs). Breakfast was fine - with the most spectacular selection of cakes I have ever seen on a breakfast buffet ! - plentiful and varied although again, coffee was from a machine - my only genuine disappointment, given that this is Italy, after all. Again, very polite staff who were coping admirably with some rather demanding guests as well as some capricious breakfast electricals (including aforementioned coffee machine and the toaster). Check-out was polite and efficient and the hotel was in good order throughout.
