Score from 326 reviews Excellent
Able to walk easily into the centre . Train station and bus to airport within walking distance .Public transport good for sight seeing! Good eating places and interesting shops. Open late at night and friendly atmosphere. Good temperature 27-28 degrees.
The hotel smells musty and the room felt damp. It doesn't have good ventilation.
Good view, security, comfortable room, ability to leave bag after check out for day
Efficious older staff, noise at night due to tiled floors and hard surfaces around hotel, staid / old fashioned dining room breakfast
Friendly and efficient staff. Parking convenient. Good Location. Good value basic restaurant with excellent service.
Walls are a bit thin, noisy plumbing. Having to pay for parking but worth it for the convenience.
We stayed here as our friend were getting married nearby (a group of them stayed at the Hilton). The location was brilliant, being only a couple of minutes walk to the main hustle of Sorrento. We stayed in a standard room for one night and an economy room for 3 nights and to be honest the only thing that was different was the view. The hotel has a communal lounge and balcony which was lovely. The attached bar was nice and reasonably priced for drinks. We only ate breakfast at the hotel but found it to be satisfactory with the usual range of continental foods. The staff were friendly and informative.
Great location, good wifi, quiet and clean.
Poor English skills, food needs improving and not very help in with arranging activities.
Perfect location and really beautiful
Very accommodating, helpful staff . We had to fill in three hours after check out time and we were able to leave luggage without any fuss and we were never made to feel we were in the way..
Nothing ! We didnt eat a full meal there so we can 't comment on that but we had a very tasty pizza for a welcome snack .
We liked the accommodation. The staff were friendly and very obliging. Plenty of room to move around. The breakfast was exceptional. We would recommend the Rivage Hotel to everyone.
Good location. Everything within walking distance, but far enough from the centre of town to be quiet at night. Good choice of sweet and savoury foods for breakfast. Comfortable bed and large shower room. Cleaned and towels changed every day. Very good value for money.
Hotel Rivage restaurant was mediocre. Hot meal was tepid. Lots of much better places in town.
Centrally located, car parking available. Opposite Hertz car rental depot. Very helpful & friendly staff. Deck restaurant with great views over harbour & Mt Vesuvius.
Room furnishings very basic. Breakfast could be better.
Walking distance to everything. Restaurant upstairs very good. Can get to the water directly down hill from the hotel however better option is to walk down to the main marina. Easier walk and nicer.
No view from the room however nice views upstairs.
Good Breakfast Vicinity to supermkarkets and 10 minutes walk to city center Free Wifi and good coverage
Rooms were having bad odor eveytime we walked into the room Receptionist were not very knowledgable Cleanliness in the room was an issue
Location was fantastic Wifi was great and available throughout Staff were friendly and helpful The view from 3rd floor common area/balcony
Bed was uncomfortable and two single pushed together Extremely thin walls - very noisy Rooster waking us up every morning Air conditioning not available 24hours
Spaciousness of rooms (and bathrooms) Magnificent lounge Drinks/restaurant terrace with wonderful views across the bay MOST staff friendly and helpful All reception staff and some waiting staff spoke good English Fully functioning air-conditioning Good breakfast (included in price), with plenty of choice of savoury and sweet items
Bathrooms didn't have much ventilation Proprietor (who presided at Reception some of the time) rather grumpy/ borderline rude Industrial orange juice at breakfast when the hotel could so easily make their own fresh each morning!
Staff and breakfast
Very nice and friendly staff. Great location, not to far away from town center. Good price and good service
Great location. Short walk to city center and ferries. Good breakfast. Comfortable beds.
Rooms painted bright blue and orange. Rooster waking me up at sunrise.
The staff was raelly extra good and motivated.
The hotel is not very close to the train station while we travel by train. Our room was at B4 has no sun light and very wet.
Value for money and location in Sorrento!
Really liked the bathroom. Room was big and comfortable.
Hotel Rivage is located a little further out then we would have liked. It's an easy walk without luggage but coming in was a little difficult. Side note: restaurant was not very good. Hotel advertised that you would receive a bottle of wine with dinner if you say at hotel. That is only if you order several courses. Our waiter was also very rude. I recommend eating at the place across the street right next to the Conrad.
Basic byt value for money. Location good
Breakfast charge . INEFFICIENT breakfast setup. NO KETTLE IN ROOM.
The staff couldn't have been any more friendly or helpful. Also great location and fantastic value for money.
Location was incredible
Parking and breakfast is horrible
