Best Western Hotel River  

Requested river view room on high floor during booking at Booking.com. However, after my credit card was charged (by the hotel directly) the hotel staff said on our arrival that our request could not be fulfilled. The hotel staff were dishonest - they should have rejected or responded to our booking instead of charging my credit card account !!! We finally got a room on upper ground floor (so called 2/f) - the hotel staff said it was the highest floor we could get. Hotel staff are in general rude to Asians.

The rooms are a little dark

The hotel location was great. Located on the Arno, it was within walking distance of many attractions, museums and restaurants. I really liked the convenience. Hotel clerks were not very helpful and were stuffy. Breakfast was decent. Free parking is available out front if you were lucky to find a spot. Compared to other hotels in same area, it was a decent value.

Roof sprang a leak during a heavy rain. Dripping water woke us up!! Not a big problem but definitely a surprise.

l'odore/profumo delle camere, le camere con poca luce, la colazione entro le 9.30, meglio alle 10.00, la colazione appena sufficiente.

Hotel pulito e confortevole, spazi troppo essenziali considerando che era una camera superior.

Bella camera vista Arno, spaziosa, l'hotel è in ottimo stato di manutenzione e molto piacevolmente arredato, gentilezza reception

Al di fuori della colazione non si può avere un toast, un panino o simili e nelle immediate vicinanze non c'è un bar

La sympathie et la disponibilité du personnel, les petits déjeunés variés, la proximité des endroits touristiques et des restaurants, la facilité d'accès (arrêt autobus à côté), le vue sur l'Arno et les alentours.

La pression de l'eau dans la salle de bain était insuffisante et la proximité de la chambre voisine séparée uniquement par une porte condamnée réduisait un peu l'intimité et accentuait le bruit des voisins.
