River Palace Hotel  

We was 1 week in Rome, it was a brilliant time and in most it depend from our hotel : attention from everyone staff, comfort, rich buffet, luxury interier etc. We are planing stay in Rome only in RiverPalace Hotel.

This hotel has many touches that make it an excellent place to stay. This includes weather forecasts, chocolates on your pillow, homemade pastries at breakfasts etc. On the whole the staff are very friendly and accomodating, the breakfast is very ample and enjoyable and the location is excellent. We enjoyed the happy hour as we were very tired by 9 and ready for a nice cold beer and bar snacks.

The main downsides are the small rooms, tired bathroom fixtures and cramped seating in breakfast room. Overview - a solid 3 star with 4 star touches in my opinion.

Staff were excellent and helpful after a long journey thro the snow from Naples. Rooms are authentically Italian, breakfast was superb, location ideal for tram trip up to Stadio Olimpico for the match and for roaming in Rome.

The hotel's location is very good - just a few steps from Piazza Del Popolo (sorry if my spelling is wrong), the same few steps from the underground station, everything is not far. The hotel's breakfast was better than we expected: E.G. fresh fruits (melon, pineapple, kiwi) every day and even champagne! Friendly staff.

1) Our standart room was tiny!!!!!!!! No, it was more like a doghouse but not a room in a 4* hotel. It was just impossible to move around the room for two people, only this way - one is sitting on the bed, the other is doing smth (E.G. getting dressed in the morning). 2) The same about the bathroom. You should better ask balance-masters for a piece of advice before you tried to enter the bathroom together or use your towel (after shower) in it. and the "best" 2 things: - every day at any time (and at night as you can guess) we were lucky enough to enjoy the noise of plumbing system. As soon as someone (above) flashed the toilet ot took shower we heard real roaring. Thanks God I took ear muffs - after the first night without them I had to use them every night to sleep well. - every evening we were again lucky to enjoy some strange smell from the street (our windows overlooked the backyard) like smoke. It was very unpleasant. We tried to use conditioning but as soon as it was switched on there was smell of cigarette smoke. I guess some guests smoked in their rooms but somehow (the cond-n system is old enough in my opinion) we felt it Unfortunately the hotel turned to be worse than we thought.

My stay in the River Palace Hotel was a wonderful experience and extremely enjoyable. The staff were great , very friendy and very helpful and corteous. The room was comfortable and the service great. The food was just" Delish ". The hotel was centrally located , close to all tourist attrctions ,shopping and restaurants. I highly recommend it .

River Palace Hotel exceeded my expectations. While some guests might criticize the size of the room I had, I was not concerned as I used the room only for sleeping. I was looking for convenient/safe location, cleanliness, updated bathroom, good breakfast, friendly staff, etc. which I found at River Place. For your information, I found River Palace by looking on the vbt web site to see what hotels they use as they typically choose good quality, economical, hotels. So, while I was not with vbt in connection with my stay, the hotel indirectly benefited from its association with vbt as I otherwise would never have know of the hotel.

My stay at River Place was most enjoyable and very comfortable thanks to your very capable and friendly staff. For a small hotel, the lobby lounge area, bar, business/computer room and breakfast room are convenient and accommodating. Your staff should be assured that their efforts do not go unnoticed by guests. I have no complaints and feel that I received good value for my money.

Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and courteous. Happy hour excellent value.

I think you will need to do something about your lift - it's a bit small.

A 2 pas derrière la place Del Popolo et d'une station de métro. Possibilité d'aller facilement à pied dans le centre historique (Place d'Espagne, Jardin villa Borghese, villa Medici, Panthéon, Place Navona, Fontaine Trevi...) Environ 25 à 30 minutes à pied du Vatican. Pour le Colisé, Capitole il faut prévoir transport en commun. Chambre propre, grand lit (180) , salle de bain très petite mais propre et bien équipée. Accueil sympathique, Happy-hour au bar de 18h à 22h (-50% s/consommation). Liaison avec service privé de voiture au même prix qu'un taxi (50€ pour trajet aéroport hôtel).

Wir haben uns zu jeder Zeit in diesem Hotel wohlgefühlt. Sämtliche Mitarbeiter waren immer total hilfsbereit, nett, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es gab kostenfreies Internet in der Lobby. Das Frühstücksbuffet hatte eine sehr große Auswahl, für jeden Geschmack war etwas dabei. Und die Happy Hour an der Bar rundete jeden Abend ganz gemütlich ab.

Die Zimmer sind klein, Gänge und Fahrstühle sehr eng, alles sehr hellhörig. Damit muss man sich arrangieren.

Die Lage des Hotels ist einfach hervorragend, fast alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Zimmer war zwar nicht sehr groß aber sehr schön und sehr sauber. Ich würde jederzeit wieder dort buchen und kann es nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Excelente hotel! Las habitaciones aunque son pequeñas como en toda Europa, son muy cómodas y limpias. Es muy bonita la decoración. Desayuno buffet muy completo!! Incluyen una neverita con bebidas en la habitación, excelente precio de la coca cola ;-d El personal es muy profesional y amable. Muchos detalles que hacen la estancia agradable: todas las noches te pasan dejando el pronóstico del clima con unos bombones de chocolates, happy hour de sandwiches y bebidas, manzanas en la habitación, etc. Ubicación muy buena, a pocos metros de la estación de metro Linea a Flaminio, plaza popolo. Tiene WiFi y también internet con cable.

Me gustaria que incluyeran agua potable (al menos un litro cada dia) en las habitaciones. No estoy segura cuan potable sea el agua del chorro.
