Hotel Riviera    

Very close to Linate airport.

We asked for a larger taxi to carry four people and luggage to the airport. Small car showed up and had to make two trips. This ended up costing us double the price we paid from airport to the hotel.

Good value. Clean. Good shower/bath. Quiet room facing the rear. Short taxi ride to Linate Airport. Pleasant desk and breakfast service.

Good bus connection from Milano Centrale.

If you have to catch a plane early morning you have to take a cab (ca. 14 eur to Linate). Otherwise there is a bus station in front of the hotel.

I only stayed there because of its proximity to Linate Milan airport. I had an early a.m. flight. The only positive for the hotel was the price. The receptionist was polite, but his only response to any problems I had was "I'm sorry, we are out of food; we have none." Oh, one positive, the WiFi available in the common areas worked well.

Few of the services advertised were available. Only one person seemed to be the receptionist and the bartender. There was NO food available, even though the hotel material indicated available snacks. I was told I could have "toast". I was able to order in a pizza, but I do not appreciate being mislead. Also, while generally acceptable, the room was dismal with a rock hard bed and single pillow only. I definitely think Booking.com should get rid of this recommendation for the hotel.

staff were friendly

extremely hard to get good meals around the area. Primarily residential area. No restaurants within walking distance.

We needed a place to stay for one night before we got on our cruise ship in Savona. Since we don't speak Italian, we had a very difficult time reading signs for Segrate & finding your hotel. Hotel was clean. Because we came in very late, we did not get down to breakfast until 8:45am & selection of food was almost gone. Hotel was clean & pm/am people at desk very friendly & helpful Ken & Joan Vos Holland, MI USA.

Decent hotel for stay-over in airport transfer. Good location for public transport to Milan. Ok price for Milan high season.

Somewhat run-down. Would not recommend for longer stays.

Fair price, comfortable room and very convenient to Linate airport. Stayed there to be close to airport the night before our flight back to the USA.

couldnt walk anywhere as no sidewalks and on highway. No restaurants without taking bus or taxi.
