The closeness of the hotel to the vaporetto stop and restaurants . Perfect situation in fact .
First room shower too small for me but they happily changed for a larger shower .
Hotel just across the street from water taxi. Fabulous breakfast. Lots of restaurants on the block. We had a little balcony plus a much larger one to use on the rooftop to meet up with our friends. Had to depart very early for our flight and we were served a tray of hot coffee at 6am. Lounge very nice. Big bathrooms. Staff very friendly and spoke good English. Nice gift shop inside lobby.
There was a band that played across the street until midnight which kept us awake but that is really the only negative. Had to use ear plugs.
Location next to water taxi
No free Wifi
Everything, staff were very helpful & friendly, location was great, just across the road to the wharf, Lido is a lovely area to stay.
Nice room with good view. Good location. Helpful staff.
Wifi is not included and is expensive
ideal situation, just across from the ferry terminal. short stroll to the beach. staff all very friendly. we had room 38 which has a small balcony looking across to St Marks Square
there was nothing to dislike
Service, friendliness, breakfast was abundant. Served eggs. Very centrally located across the street from Vaporetti.
my hope is that they would offer free internet at least in the lobby. if you are taller than 5'6" and have a single room, you might want to ask for a longer bed.
This hotel had good and helpful staff there wasnt a kettle in the room but apart from that it was a good hotel right across the road from the waterbus stops easy to get into venice.
The room the location
Having to pay for wi fi and jaccuzI No fridge in room or tea making Facilities
Location. Right by the Ater bus station and also close to bars and restaurants.
Feels like an you're staying in an old doll house. Lots of lace and floral. Also, the beds were terrible.
not easy to take bath. doors or whatever they are of the shower are blockading people but not water.
Balcony prosecco on the breakfast buffet location comfortable room
Great location and a nice hotel.
The day reception staff was cold and not friendly. When I wanted to ask some information - they were strangely unhelpful and greeted each time with such a scorns and scowled faces. But I should note that it's only about the reception staff during the day (!) .
Vicinity to the water-bus and Beach.
can't thing of anything.
Everything was nice. The hotel is quite old, but is very well located. The breakfast is excellent.
The internet is not free.
Excellent service - staff very helpful... Breakfasts were GREAT
Nothing really - all very good!
Traditional Venetian decor and good attention to detail
Charging for internet. Room safe and ice
Location interrior breakfast friendly staff
small room noisy conditioner
Immediate raction to our wish to change rooms, which were provided in next days without any formalities. Very helpful, good tips as to transportation to the various islands we wanted to visit. Multilingual! Beautiful interior decorations, lovely balcony and terrasse.
We booked rooms to the lagoon and it was quite loud, in spite of breathtaking view had to change rooms to the other side whoch was much more quiet.
This is the second time I have used the hotel. The view from the hotel across the lagoon to St Marks Square is amazing. Most rooms have a view however there is also a communal terrace to relax on. Nice breakfast, friendly staff and ferry terminal is opposite hotel. Central Venice (S.Marco) only two stops away!
Some single rooms can be very small however twins and doubles are a good size for european standards
VEry easy to get to on public transportation. Lido is very nice.
I am sure Riviera hotel is the best choice in Venice. This is my second visit to this hotel and I like everything : the room was big and very clean with terrace overlooking the square, church and lagoon. The breakfast was great - even pineapples, melon and other fruit...The staff - very helpful, polite and friendly, all my requests were fulfilled immediately, as it was a request of a member of royal family...The connection with San Marco was very easy with vaporetto, which is available 24 hours a day...And last but not least, prices for the room are much more affordable, than on San Marco...
Everything was great, thank you...
Very helpful friendly multilingual reception staff, great breakfast. Fantastic location across the road from vaporetto stop, 10 mins to central Venice. Communal terrace with fantastic view of Venice. Air conditioning in room kept it lovely and cool. Lido itself great for families with beach, bike hire and plenty of restaurants.
Air con slightly noisy overnight (but control in room to switch on & off yourself). No kettle in the room and not available at reception (take your own!)
They charge guests for electrical adapters, which are useless once you leave Italy.
See View from our room and hotel position - very near vaporeto station
Room was too small. Everything in room and whole hotel is too old. This hotel needs renovation. Breakfast was not good.
