Score from 88 reviews Wonderful
The rooms are modern and very tastefully done. Large balconies. The owner, Alessandro, is very helpful. He also runs the Rocche Costamagna winery into which the Art Suites are integrated. Excellent wines as well. The place is right very centrally located in La Morra.
Nothing. I usually have some suggestions, but not in this case.
Big room High standard Tastefull interior Good wifi Very nice staff Good view
Great hotel. Rooms are very nice and the terrace can't be beat. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Wines were good.
Shower curtain in the bathroom was a problem.
The people, location, ambiance, spectacular terrace with great views and a fascinating wine shop as an integral part of the premises all combined to make this a fantastic place to stay. Already recommended to a couple of friends
Before coming here, we had been to a country house near San Stefano Belbo. The receiving and the attitude of the host was so much warm there, and everything more authentic, that when we got here I felt everything a bit stiff. Our host was helpful with everything we asked for, but ... not so inclined to spend some good minutes with you to chat about his history. Really, there is nothing to complain about - this review is very subjective. Only that this experience made me understand that I prefer more simple things instead of luxury.
Price was high. Next time I should chose wiser.
Wonderful property in the middle of the Barolo with stunning views
Very friendly people.
Could find no faults
Very comfortable, modern and clean room. Good location, with beautiful views from the terrace. The host and his staff were very friendly and helpful.
I had a wonderful stay in Rocche Costamagna with my wife in Nov 2013. Got the famous Room No. 4 with 3 balconies (one is in the toilet!) and able to capture the stunning view over the Barolo valley. Room is beautifully and modernly decorated. The hotel is located in the center of La Morra with some good restaurants nearby. The host is nice. Recommended to everyone who are going to visit the place.
Staff location everything just perfect
Great location, friendly and helpful staff.
Parking is slightly problematic.
Everything... Especially the staff were very friendly.
This is an excellent small hotel with an amazing view of the Piemonte countryside. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and the rooms are beautifully appointed. If you are interested in the wine history of the region, their library may be the best in the area. The proprietor will arrange a tasting of his family's wines with advance notice.
Only drawback was a bit of traffic noise at night.
Rooms were quiet, comfortable, and very nice with a huge balcony. Air conditioned rooms. Great location for touring the wine country.
When I booked online I almost immediately got an email asking what time we would check in. I responded immediately with a time and also asked about parking, to which I never got a reply. There is a little parking very close by so it was no problem ultimately. Also, we expected a better breakfast considering the cost of the hotel.
Great view from the room, Large terrace, Modern room design, Very friendly staff, Wine tasting was excellent and is highly recommendable
Staff is very friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable about area, wine and winemaking, fluent in English. Suites are lovely with artwork by owner. Winetasting with Francesca was informative and fun. Absolutely beautiful region, great views of mountains and valley. Highly recommend this hotel ... we will return.
Fabulous place staffed by great folks.
