Score from 1758 reviews Very good
Offering bungalow units in Rome's Vejo Regional Park, Flaminio Village is a camping next to Parco di Roma Golf Club. It enjoys excellent train services into the center of the city. Parking is free.
Score from 867 reviews Good
Set in a green suburb of Rome, Villa Dei Giuochi Delfici provides free park and good bus links into the city centre. It is on the edge of Parco di Roma Golf Club and has a large garden with gazebos.
Score from 271 reviews Good
Built and opened in 2010, Excel Rome St. Peter is located just outside Vatican City walls, 0.3 miles from Saint Peter's Square. It offers ultra-modern rooms with hardwood floors.
Score from 664 reviews Excellent
the hotel is out site the city so you don't have to deal with the traffic, the train station is close, but the access to it is kind of weird. if you want to save some money use it. if not a taxi is $20 to down town. totally worth it for don't deal with the traffic. Marco, in front desk, is amazing, he speaks Italian, Spanish and English, he was really helpful recommending places to visit, eat or anything you need. we really join our stay. thank you again Marco for make our stay in Rome wonderful.
the only inconvenient is the train station access. but is not a big deal.
We had a great weekend at RPH. The high-specification balcony room and generous breakfast were excellent and all the staff were welcoming and helpful.
We hope that the bridge to the nearer train station - Grottarossa - is fixed soon so that people don't have to risk their lives walking along the busy roads to the other station - Due Ponti.
The only positive point is the presence of a good restaurant near the hotel that saved us. The hotel and rooms are clean.
The location of the Hotel is very bad. There are no facilities at all in the hotel. The breakfast is not varied only strict minimum. The internet connection is very slow. We were so disappointed by the location of the hotel which is not practical and safe for families with children and stroller. Prostitutes at the corner of the street. The train station is close to the hotel but to reach it is a nightmare. There is no sidewalk its just the highway. Very bad experience. I wouldn't recommend it. Overrated and expensive for what you get in return. No shuttle to the airport or train station. Its outside the city.
Clean, basic rooms. Very helpful staff
Only one key per room; no lobby; no coffee/tea in rooms
Modern, good breakfast, cleanliness and quiet.
No pedestrian connection between the train station and the hotel, we walked om the motorway side to reach the hotel. Not recommended for travelling without a car.
hotel is nice so is the staff - very helpful. room and bathroom very spacious. nice buffet breakfast.
situation of the hotel. we struggled to get to the hotel the 1st day as we were given a wrong information. the best way is to take metro to Flaminia and from there train to Montebelle (about 8-10mins ride). than another 700-800 m to walk back to hotel. last train from flaminio at 22h40 and quiet scatchy walk back as passing through "happy Corner for men" - if you know what i mean...
scent of orange and silence
Staff was polite and accomadating
The staff were very helpful in assisting us in our first visit to Rome. We would recommend this hotel to our friends:
Pretty much everything but the location. It was difficult for our driver to find it, but there was a train a short walk away. Staff is helpful, attentive and speak good English. They are knowledgeable about the area and recommended plenty of things to do.
The location is off the beaten path a bit. But that aside it was excellent.
Everithing was above my expectations.
The near by train better to call a taxi or drive his own auto
All was really nice! We enjoyed our time there! the room was very clean and staff very helpful!
only the address was a bit confusing, stating Tor di Quinto in the address on the website, which is the same as the name of the station, but we had to actually get off two stops after. I sugges to give tips how to get to the hotel by public transport. Also it would be nice to have access to facilites to have a cup of tea in the evening, after rain. This woudl be just perfect, but those are only small suggestions.
Perfect location close 2 min walk to local train connection to city center, and following Metro system at Piazza del Popolo. Perfect location from highway if arriving by car.
Excellent for city trips; 5 minute walk to the local-train station (GROTAROSA). Takes 20 minutes to the City Center (Rome) by local train; Good facilities and friendly staff; Secure private parking;
Nice place to stay.
Hotel is located outside the city Rome in a remote place. Hotel is a bit hard to reach without a car since there is no direct bus. Had to change trice and walk to reach the hotel.
The staff were so helpful when my daughter lost her wallet
It was clean
there was no egg at breakfast. the options for dinner is nothing.. the internet is not strong enough, It was disconnecting always.
No phone connection in the room. I think this is something that should be told in advance. Internet connection charged as an extra cost
We were at the hotel 3 nights from 26/10 to 29/10. The price was 204€ for a double room which I think is a very good price if we compare with other hotels. The bedroom and bathroom were very nice and clean, really comfortable. The breakfast really good: fresh fruits, croissants, prosciutto, nice coffee, etc. If a go back to Rome I will probably go again to this hotel.
The hotel is a little bit far away from Roma downtown. There is a train 5-10min walking from the hotel. Once you catch the train it's only 15-20min to arrive to Roma. Take coins to buy the tickets !! The machine sometimes doesn't have change! Well, I complain about the distance but I think it's worth it since the hotel is very nice with nice price.
The shower was broken, the were noises on the room during the night, and high price for the quality.
The hotel is new and with good facilities, but there were few problems that cause our stay in the hotel not so good: 1. The room we received was without a window (there was a window in the roof?!). The guy in the reception told us that he will replace the room for us tomorrow but he did not do it. 2. The air condition was constant on (22 degrees) without an option to control the temperature or turning it off. After we asked the guy there to close it he said that he will do it, but he did not. 3. In breakfast I asked for butter but the lady there said that I should have come earlier.
Interior design, cleanliness.
Location, Staff (not bad, but can be much better - more friendly towards guests, and more knowledgeable about where to exchange the money E.G. - they've sent me to the bank that does not do that - lost a lot of time to reach that bank), Breakfast (quite poor)
Really nice place
It is not well connected to the city center; please keep in mind the trains stop on Grottarotta station only if it is required for someone. Do not forget to push the button in advance!
- the room was very, very clean - the room looked great, the furniture was very modern and it feeled really confortable - the location was ok - aprox 15 minutes away from the centre (Piaza del Popolo) by train
- the wifi in the room was not free and it didn't work so good - the last train from the centre of rome to the hotel was at 22:40
