Vittorini Restaurant is open for lunch and dinner.
Paolo Orsi Archaeological Museum - the museum illustrates the prehistory and history of nearly all the main archaeological sites in central and eastern Sicily, until the end of classical period.
Maniace Castle - built in the early 13th century, the castle owes its name to the Byzantine general who in 1038 defended Ortygia from the Arabs. Features include the impressive main door, made of polychrome marble and emblazoned with the imperial coat of arms of Charles V.
San Giovanni Catacomb - an extensive underground necropolis dating from the 4th century in which the Adelphia Sarcophagus (circa 340), now housed in the Archaeological Museum.

Its location for visiting the old part of Siracusa is excellent. The rooms were spartan. We rejected the first room because it had no chairs. The second room was marginally better. |

Hotel Roma was in an amazing location, right in the heart of ortiga. We went to an event so friends were staying all over the place but we felt that the location couldn't be beaten. It was quiet and the room was modern and clean. The staff were lovely and it was a short walk to all the main sights. There was no extra channels on the TV so if you fancy an evening in you're stuck with BBC news - there were no movies or other english channels which is a real let down. Also we couldn't get hooked up to the wireless which is only available in the reception area, not the rooms. |

The hotel was right in the centre of the historic quarter. Very suitable for short break. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were generally helpful. No complaints in the context of our short visit. The hotel met our expectations. The room had not got a great view and small window openings backed onto a wall of an adjoining building but in the context of our short visit this did not disturb us to any great extent. |

A wonderful centre for exploring, just minutes from the sea and in the centre for the medieval town and you can walk to the Roman/Greek ruins.We had a car which was well looked after, a very good room and had a lovely time! P.S. Great breakfast too with tasty coffee! Nothing at all. |

The staff were helpful and the room was nicely furnished - the breakfasts were good. The bed was hard, there was a lot of noise from the pedestain street (rather a surprise), it is very difficult to find and the dinner was not exciting. |

sicuramente la posizione! centralissima! la gentilezza dell'equipè che la mattina proponeva la colazione.Arredo ed architettura del bagno deliziosi. Parte del personale è poco accattivante. immaginate solo che pur avendo pagato la mezza pensione non ne abbiamo usufruito, il cameriere della sera ci ha proposto un menu così striminzito da far ridere, poi il signore che faceva la sera del venerdi alla reception mi ha detto che non avrebbe potuto scalare le nostre mezze pensioni perchè avevo effettuato la prenotazione tramite Booking.com.... ditemi voi se è possibile una cosa del genere!!! Spesso, mentre facevo la doccia, arrivavano getti di acqua fredda. Un pezzo del battiscopa del bagno era caduto. Ho trovato una forcina per capelli scordata da chissà chi sul comodino. |

Hotel très calme malgré qu'il soit situé à côté d'une place très fréquentée le soir. Parking de l'hôtel très appréciable. agréable aussi de pouvoir bénéficier d'une salle de sport. Des améliorations pourraient être apportées au buffet du petit déjeuner. les produits proposés n'étaient pas toujours de très bonne qualité. |
