The elegant Hotel Bologna is in the historic center of Pisa, a 5 minute walk from the train station. It offers free Wi-Fi and a shuttle to the airport.
Score from 1582 reviews Very good
The Royal Victoria is the only hotel in historic central Pisa overlooking the Arno River. Take a short walk across charming, medieval streets and you will soon reach the Leaning Tower.

Good Location, Nice staff, very helpful.
Bed too hard, street much too noisy, even by night
Very good budget hotel. Excellent rooms, location, breakfast, staff. Very recommended.
Do not have internal parking space. If need to park should park in an another street.
Very convenient location.
Would have liked more choice for breakfast.
Just two minutes away from the piazza with the Leaning Tower, so that you are always walking in a safe area, even in the early hours. Good and clean room, and good service.
Sparse breakfast, and minimal facilities apart from rooms and b'fast area. common areas clean but a bit shabby - badly needs a revamp. But price was competitive.
Very kind and helpful staff, great location (on the other side of the street is Piazza dei Miracoli, next to the the hotel there is the bus stop where you can take the bus to the central station and/or the airport), comfortably renovated room. Excellent wi-fi.
A bit old and not too nice bathroom (the room was renovated, but the bathroom not). A bit poor breakfast.
Staff very helpful & accommodating Location excellent Breath taking balcony view Excellent value Very comfortable
No English tv Limited breakfast options
Staff were so helpful and friendly and welcoming
Across the road from Campi dei Miracoli, 24hour check-in good as our flight landed at 23.50, good breakfast.
Chilly - it was late October, sunny crisp & cool, & like many Italian hotels they didn't seem to cope with the temperature! The room had heating but as we didn't arrive till midnight there was no time for us to adjust the temperature before we went to bed.
The room was cozy, quiet and clean. The staff was very friendly even during the night
We experienced some problems with WiFi, the signal wasn't strong enough and we had to reconnect every 10 minutes. Breakfast could appear too simple for English or asian people
Large bathroom Friendly, empathetic and ready to help staff Phone chargers and adaptors available Excellent location opposite the leaning tower and close to public transport (to/from airport) and taxi lane Clean linen Value for money and very good experience for a three start hotel
Free wifi available only in the lounge downstairs and not in the room
The location is great, we arrived late at night, walked across the road and there was the Tower, no tourists & by moon light wonderful ! hotel is nice and clean. We had a room for 3, with a view of the Tower, not huge but room enough .Breakfast good and the staff friendly.
The shower itself in our room was really small, (we are not huge) but our friend in the single room had no problem...It was minor but if you need a little extra room in the shower its not for you check first !
Perfect location in the vicinity of the old town and its main attractions. Very helpful receptionist giving thorough information on the places worth visiting. Clean, spacious and quiet room towards the backyard (on the street side the busy traffic on the street may be noisy?). The neon sign of the hotel, Hotel Roma, reads Hotel Amor when arriving from the other directions: very appropriate
Friendliness of staff and very helpful with regards sightseeing and transport Just across the road from the leaning tower and piazza miracoli Busstop at corner of road
Needs a little upgrade Some insect issues at night - netting in place but yet affects Noise on some nights from ambulances travelling to the closely situated main hospital of Pisa
Everything, especially the helpfulness of the staff.
Nothing. If I really wanted to be picky I would have liked a little more choice at breakfast, but at the price we paid, it was fine and so courteously served too.
Location. Right opposite Pisa tower. Breakfast menu was good.
Room too small. No air-conditioning (it's there but switched off. It was pretty hot. Kids kept waking up in the night) Not stroller friendly but can manage. In general this was the most expensive hotel of my stay in Italy for it's value (comapred to my stay in Rome, Venice.
Position of the Hotel was excellent for sights, buses and bars. The reception staff were very helpful and could not do enough for you.
Breakfast was poor. Choice was pathetic. The breakfast staff were more interested in talking to themselves than serving guests! The room was dirty. Window sills were filthy and hadn't been cleaned for months. The window in the en-suite was impossible to close so insects were getting into the room at night. The shower water pressure was zero and the sliding door kept coming off its runners when closing it. Generally the furniture in the room was old and tired and needed replacing. Thank goodness we did not spend too much time in the room it would have been very depressing! Needless to say we will not be staying here again!
Breakfast was very nice. It is simple but the pastries were good and there were fruits. I didnt drink coffee but my sister told me it was nice.
Wifi is not that strong in the room as we were on the third floor. Nevertheless it was strong at the lobby area
Breakfast was nice with a good selection and nice coffee. There wasn't a lot of noise. It was clean. Near the tower and a train station that is one stop away from pizza central. The free WiFi.
No English speaking TV. The WiFi was a bit temperamental.
This hotel has a perfect location right across the street from the leaning Tower and near restaurants etc. Our room was clean quiet and the air-con worked well. WiFi worked well also. Breakfast was basic but perfectly fine. Very short taxi ride to airport or train station. Staff friendly and very helpful with directions.
Our room was at the back so didn't have a view of the tower but we had not asked for a room with a view. So if you want a view of the tower ask for a room to the front of the hotel.
Excellently located, 50 m near P-za Miracoli.
The hole hotel is modest: cleaning of the rooms, furnitures, wifi, breakfast.
Breakfast was included. Bus stop right out front Attractions close by
The heat was not turned on at it was freezing in our room. The heat should be on at the end of October. The carpet in the room was filthy with dirt and stains and even what appeared to be old gum. The room had tiny bugs (I believe from the cleaning lady leaving the window open) No "Do not disturb" sign, so the cleaning lady came in everyday against our wishes The wifi was very weak and any time my phone went to rest mode, I had to retype in the username and password Breakfast was included in the bill but limited choices There was mold in the shower
Excellent location close to entrance of cathedral and tower area. We had a good view of tower from the window Also had bus stop to Lucca, Viareggio and airport right outside door. Much cheaper than taxis. Also close to the station. Breakfast was fine. Located on a busy main road but good double glazing and air-conditioning Staff were helpful and we would use this hotel again for its location
Lack of a bar. Should have had one in the spacious and comfortable lounge which was unused. Ensuite and shower was excellent but the bedroom itself was in need of refurbishment. Paintwork and storage units were well past replacement date. Bed was hard and firm but we slept ok. Garden/patio area could have been more inviting also
Very friendly and welcoming. Very clean. Fantastic value for money
Fab location front rooms have fab views of tower and the mountains. friendly staff with amazing coffee! Excellent genuine italian restaraunt approx 300 yards away.
Fifteen minute walk into city centre, can be a bit noisy due to traffic at rush hour in the front rooms
The incredible location, the shuttle bus from the airport which runs every 10 mins stops within 100m of the hotel and costs only 1.20 euros!! The cathedral close which houses the leaning tower is less than 2 mins walk away and the town is only 5 mins walk. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful when I asked if they had a town plan the receptionist not only produced one but also marked the various landmarks for me without my asking. The residents lounge is extremely comfortable and leads to a small leafy outside courtyard. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and if I found myself in Pisa I would most certainly stay here again. Thank you Hotel Roma.
